Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: The Jason Template & Season 3 Begins

Only 300 points for a base Jason?

Rollin was surprisingly underwhelmed. But thinking back, it made sense. The original Jason Voorhees was a lumbering brute who couldn't even break into a locked car without effort. He spent decades crushing "noob" teenagers.

But in the end, he was always defeated by normal humans.

Strictly speaking, strip away the resurrection hack, and Jason couldn't survive a modern military sweep.

However, this Jason—the one Rollin just atomized—was different. He had evolved through dozens of resurrections and been augmented with Marvel's black technology.

Even Thor might have struggled to put him down permanently without Banishment.

"So, in a way, Hydra did me a favor by buffing the XP yield?"

Rollin shook his head. As a thank you, he decided to send Hydra a "surprise" gift later. Whether it was a pleasant surprise or a lethal one remained to be seen.

"But... if Jason resurrects again, doesn't that mean I can farm him infinitely? Is this an XP exploit?"

Rollin suspected Jason was the Devil's favorite glove, used to harvest fear and souls. If so, Hell wouldn't let him stay dead forever.

Rollin opened his character sheet. He dumped his new points into his stats, maxing them out for the current version cap.

[Attributes Updated:]

[Strength 90 | Intelligence 90 | Agility 90 | Endurance 90 | Soul 90 | Energy 90]

90 points. Nine times the human limit.

In Marvel terms, he was now roughly 2.5 Captain Americas stacked together.

His energy reserves refilled instantly. The sensation of fullness was ecstatic—comparable to the exact moment of... release.

Next, Rollin opened the Jason Voorhees (Marvel Cyborg Variant) entry in the Map Editor.

"Wait. I can extract abilities from defeated Anomaly Targets?"

He scanned the list.

Pain SuppressionResurrection (Conditional)Regeneration (Low Tier)Super Sensation: The ability to track targets across any distance once marked.Teleportation (Slasher Logic): The supernatural ability to appear behind victims when unobserved.Possession (Heart-Based): The parasitic soul transfer ability.Mental ResistanceBody of Steel: (Vibranium + Adamantium Skeleton).

"Hiss... Jason was stacked."

Rollin raised an eyebrow. Most abilities had flaws. Regeneration was slow compared to Deadpool. Resurrection needed a blood relative or lightning. Possession required someone to eat his heart.

But Super Sensation and Body of Steel were gold. Especially the tracking. If he could integrate Jason's ability library later, he would be unstoppable.

"Do we need to check the crater?" Madison asked, eager to see the destruction up close.

"No. If we don't leave now, we'll be swarmed."

Rollin turned to the others. "You can come with us, or find your own way back."

Jennifer didn't speak. She just stared at Rollin with a smile that promised unspeakable obedience.

Yulenka blinked her big eyes. "Big Brother, I checked. Our car is broken. Can we stay with you for a while?"

"We don't have money. But once we do, we'll pay you back." She squeezed Jennifer's hand. Jennifer nodded robotically. "Yes, Mr. Rollin. I will work three jobs to repay you."

In his past life, a woman saying this would be a fantasy. Here? It was Tuesday.

"Oh my god! My car!"

Madison finally realized the tragedy. "My new car! It got nuked!"

"Relax. I'll get you a better one later. One that can change shape. Like a Transformer," Rollin comforted her.

"Deal!" Madison beamed.

Tommy Jarvis walked out of the bunker, shotgun in hand. He looked at the devastation, then at Rollin with complex eyes.

"Tommy, what's your plan?" Rollin asked.

Tommy hesitated. His life was defined by Jason. With Jason gone, he was adrift.

"He will come back. He always does. I'll wait for Him."

"But until then..." Tommy looked toward Crystal Lake, eyes burning. "You said Hydra did this to him? I think I'll go have a chat with Hydra."

God of War Tommy vs. Hydra.

Rollin liked the sound of that. It had a very "Punisher" vibe.

"Good luck. If you ever need help killing Hydra, call me. I'm always down for pest control."

Rollin activated the Mass Teleport circle again.

One man, four women. They stood in the blue light. There was plenty of space, yet all the women pressed tight against Rollin, feigning fear.

Even Yulenka pretended to be scared, though her eyes shone with excitement.

Only Maria was genuinely terrified.

With a flash, they vanished, leaving Tommy staring at the empty space with envy.

Five minutes later.

Three men in yellow robes stepped through a sparking golden portal.

"We're late. They're gone."

"Investigate immediately. Someone used forbidden-level destruction magic in the material plane. We must strike hard."

"Yes, Master Mordo!"

Baron Mordo frowned, sniffing the residual elemental energy.

This level of destruction... even as the First Disciple of Kamar-Taj, I can't ignore it.

"Whoever you are," Mordo vowed, clenching his fist. "If you threaten the Natural Law, I will end you."

The Triskelion. Top Floor.

Nick Fury stood in his office, swirling a glass of expensive scotch. He loved looking down at the world. It gave him the illusion of control.

Suddenly, the coffee in his mug rippled. The glass of the window vibrated.

On the distant horizon, a mushroom cloud was rising.

Nick Fury's face dropped.

"Motherf—"

"Did World War III just start?!"
