"My lord Baron," the man bowed low as he knelt.

"Adras has returned with the clone," he added, almost in a whisper.

From the corner of the chamber he caught sight of the Baron's personal guard, a human standing tall and still as carved stone, clad in black armor, a vibro-pike resting upright in his grasp.

To berin his name was unknown but he hat taken to call the man the silent not very creative but it matched.

The Baron, as he was publicly known within their organization, rose from the steaming pool without the slightest concern for modesty. Water ran down his sculpted frame as he stepped onto the polished obsidian floor. A droid servant hurried forward, presenting a towel to him with mechanical precision.

He took it, drying himself with unhurried grace.

The man beneath the alias was Silas Kork, born on Dromund Kaas, a friend and partner to his younger patron, the Imperial lieutenant Menno Coehorn. Menno had pulled him from the cruelties and intrigues of that Sith world, and since that day the two had secretly allied and labored towards the singular dream, of power dominion, absolute and unquestioned.

Silas was Force-sensitive, though not to the degree of his companion menno. In raw ability he stood near Adras; and both were formidable in combat, both disciplined and dangerous. Yet Silas's true talent lay elsewhere. He was an organizer, a negotiator, a manipulator of men and markets. He was the other half of the perceived whole and through him a many this were done that Menno couldn't do due to his service in the military.

An in this sense he was the head of the Revenant to the lower rungs of their organization. Few truly knew about its true head Menno. And so they answered to Silas unquestionably.

The syndicate's reach spread quietly through the Colonies and into the Core, smuggling, theft, bounty contracts, narcotics distribution, arms brokerage, data extraction, assassinations.

Alongside those darker pursuits stood immaculate legitimate front, a shipping firm established personally by Silas. A Company by the name of Bailkal Logistics, miniature compared to the other larger shipping conglomerates of Fondor but they were growing astonishingly due to the coordination of its head Silas.

Menno relied heavily upon them for technical support, lawyers, spies, negotiators, business personnel and enforcement operatives.

It was here from the Revenant that he drew upon other administrators to work in the karak Corporation on Rhelgim.

Fondor itself was also indispensable. Its orbital shipyards rivaled Kuat and Corellia, churning out destroyers, refitting cruisers, testing classified innovations and products that Baikal Logistics bought to build their organization. Ninety percent of their 54 shipping vessels were of Fondor design. And the planets industrial expanse also aided in hiding their base and criminal activities.

Silas wrapped the robe around his shoulders.

"Alas," he said, voice warm with satisfaction, "you bring me good news, Berin. The clone will make an excellent addition. He can lead and train our militant forces, a perfect replacement for Koil."

Koil.

Even the name left a faint bitterness in the air.

In truth koil was not agreeable with the idea of taking children off the streets to use as foot soldiers. To him it was just another means of slavery the least moral of the Criminals organizations practices.

And so koil was killed for his lack of faith and due to the fact that he knew too much about Silas and the workings of the company.

Berin kept his eyes lowered. "Adras doesn't believe the same, my lord."

"Adras does as he's told, his opinions on this is not subject", Silas says.

"The clones loyalty can be redirected and our efforts in rescuing him will see better investments," Silas replied mildly.

He moved past the kneeling man toward a circular holotable recessed into the floor. With a gesture, the droid activated it. Light rose, forming the skeletal image of Fondor and its surrounding traffic lanes. Convoys flickered in motion; coded routes shimmered like veins.

Silas studied them, hands folded behind his back.

"The Kaminoans bred them for obedience," Berin continued carefully. "But after the war, many were discarded. Some resent it."

"Resentment," Silas said, "Once we show him what society has become mow he will se us as saviors and we will give him purpose once again"

"Send a message to Adras, Inform him that I'll be making my way to the base in short order",
