CLANG
That was the first thing I heard when I woke up, I felt the warm rays of the sun hit my skin… the distant sounds of waves, and the smoothness of the sand.
'A beach?'
I opened my eyes and quickly sat up. But I felt much taller than my usual self.
I looked down at myself, freezing at the sight
Pale skin, a rather bulky build with no shirt on, there was a few black markings over his chest, the only signs of coverage was the hakama and a white sash wrapped around his waist and the bandage. A sword was attached to his right arm wrapped in bandages.
"What.. what the hell is this?!"
I said startled, hastily getting on my feet. The sudden feeling of being so tall caused me to wobble around.
I placed a hand on the mountain side to regain my balance.
'Okay okay just focus.. My name, its.. Uh. Fuck! How could I forget my name!?'
I grumbled in frustration, looking back at my new body.
"This body…"

'Mahoraga.'
'How can I remember that but not my own name?'
"Ill just call myself Raga for short then."
Raga stared at the sea for a moment, taking it all in.
"Where am I anyways?"
Raga looked around, trying to familiarize himself with the place
"This beach… looks oddly familiar."
Raga tried to jog his memory, yet he couldn't find a single clue.
Feeling frustrated, he sat back down next to a rock.
"And where is my system? Do I not get one?"
Raga spoke out loud, though it was more to himself than anything else.
'I was originally going to question how I could speak and see but.. That clang I heard when I first woke up must have been me adapting to speech and sight.'
Raga's gaze swept over the sand, then.. A particularly poorly drawn image was on the sand was seen
'A drawing?..'
Raga leaned closer to the image, it showed a woman with cubes floating around her, following that, he saw footsteps heading towards the grass.
'Wait. Is this..'
"Genshin impact?!"
Raga yelled out loud in suprise, he was already shocked about his new body. And now this?
"This sketch looks fresh… that means the traveler must have started their journey not long ago."
Raga got up and dusted the sand off of his body
"Welp, nothing better I could do so, may as well pay Paimon and the traveler a visit! I wonder which twin it is.."
Raga started to walk to the grass area, easily stepping over the wall that the traveler had to climb
"Wow, this is basically just like a staircase no?"
Raga chuckled to himself, still clearly amazed by his newfound height
"Still not used to being so tall though."
Raga walked past a tree and a waterfall, the tree had a few sunsettia's hanging from it and a few on the floor. Raga paid no mind since he didn't feel hungry, maybe he adapted to that too?
"This still feels so unreal.." Raga muttered to himself, the gentle rustle of the grass whenever he took a step. It felt soft to his bare feet. The wind felt strong, yet pleasant. His wing like appendages swayed with every step he took.
He quickly found himself standing over a viewpoint, trees were below. And in the distance showed a lake with a small island in the middle. A statue in the middle of it.. Along with.. Two figures? One of them was very small..
"Paimon? And.." Raga focused his vision on the taller figure… they wore a white dress
"Ah. Lumine." Raga said unsurprisingly, 'All the genshin fics I read had lumine as the traveler, I guess this isn't any different..' He watched the two figures slowly make their way further into the forest ahead
"I'm surprised they didn't see me.. Considering how large I am."
Raga commented, he jumped from the cliff and landed on the ground, some rocks and dust kicked up, a small crater was created upon impact of the landing
Raga didn't comment on it, 'This is Mahoraga we're talking about, so there's no reason to be surprised about this.' Raga made his way through the trees, towering over them all, they reached his pecs at most.
'Man, in real life this place looks much larger than in the game..' Raga internally complained, 'Then again.. I guess me being large speeds up the traveling, hell I could probably jump around great lengths to.'
Raga soon made it to the statue in the middle of the lake. Anemo energy pulsed softly at his presence
'Id say that the bard is watching me but.. He's got his hands full with something else.' As soon as he said that, the wind suddenly grew stronger. 'Bingo.' Raga looked up, a massive shadow loomed over the sky… A massive winged dragon. Dvalin to be exact.
'That guy is huge.. I might need to borrow him so I can adapt.' Raga left the statue behind and started making his way to the forest
"Lumine and Paimon should be in the forest by now, meaning that one cutscene should happen shortly.." Raga's gaze landed on the few hilichurls around their campfire, a grin soon appeared on his face
"May as well put this new body to the test."
Raga walked up to the hilichurls, his own form towering over the hilichurls. "Plata!" A hilichurl with a bow spoke, readying his weapon as it shot an arrow straight to Raga's body
The arrow bounced off of his abs, landing on the grass with a soft thud. "... Why am I even surprised.." Raga swiped the incoming hilichurl's with a single kick, knocking out all the hilichurl's
"Well that was boring.. But expected." As he walked away from the scene, a loud roar was heard from the direction of the forest, Dvalin shot straight out and disappeared into the clouds
"Oh? Guess that's my cue to finally check things out."
Raga started to walk towards the entrance of the forest, he walked at a leisurely pace, even stopping to admire the scenery
"Man, I seriously cant get enough of how beautiful this place is."
Raga swiftly made it to the entrance of the forest, "I forgot how tall I am.." He said with a bit of irritation, the trees were all too short for him to simply go into the forest, "Ah fuck it, ill make it work."
Raga stepped into the forest, leaves and branches were picking at him as he walked, though it didn't exactly bother him
Raga heard a loud and squeaky voice from the center of the forest, his mouth curved into a grin, "There you are."

Heyy guys, how was the chapter? Its pretty short I know that much..
If anyone has any criticisms then Id love to hear it, better to fix any of my bad habits now than later lol
