Chapter 9 - The Awakening of Twin Stars (Part - 2)

Silence.

Level twenty spirit power at awakening.

A heaven favoured prodigy.

Qian Daoliu himself was level nineteen at awakening, and that was one of the highest innate spirit power the angel clan has seen in ten thousand years.

Qian xunji awakened with innate spirit power level 17 that was the general among the Qian family.

Now Qian Renxue has awakened at level twenty.

The angel statue shone more brightly, bathed in the golden brilliance as if almost alive.

Qian renxue smiled, and stepped back calm and composed.

The golden brilliance of Renxue's Six winged angel has only just faded when the atmosphere in douluo hall shifted again.

All eyes turned towards the remaining child.

But there was a tension, a subtle fear in the gazes looking at him - because unlike Renxue who's martial spirit was already fixed because of the angelic bloodline and both of her parents were title douluo with great talent.

But Yin yue's parents were unknown, they didn't know what kind of martial spirit will yin yue awaken.

Qian Daoliu spoke breaking the deafening silence "Yue'er, come, it's your turn now"

Yin yue took a deep breath and stepped forward.

Small.

Delicate.

And calm.

Composed beyond his six years of age.

The awakening array beneath him shimmerd faintly as he entered it's centre.

Ancient runes traced themselves in light across the white marble floor, responding to his presence.

Then -

Nothing happened.

No light.

No presence.

No aura.

The hall fell into silence.

The priests exchanged subtle glances.

Qian xunji frowned slightly.

Even ling yun's gaze sharpened.

But unaware of this,

Yin yue stood still within the array.

Eyes closed.

Breathing steady.

Second passed.

Ten.

Twenty.

The silence grew heavier.

Then -

A single spark appeared at his fingertips.

Tiny.

Golden.

It flickered like the first ray of dawn breaking over the horizon.

And in the next instant - light exploded across the douluo hall.

Blinding radiance burst outward in all directions, scattering like fragments of sunlight shattering against crystals.

The stained glass windows trembled as golden beams streamed across the vaulted ceiling.

Yin yue slowly opened his left hand.

Fron his palm -

A blazing golden sphere rose into the air.

It was not merely light.

It was the sun.

Flames roared silently across it's surface, radiant and sovereign.

Waves of heat rolled outward, yet none felt burned.

The entire hall was.bathed in golden sunlight.

Everyone present inhaled sharply.

" The Sun....! "

The flaming sun floated om Yin yue's left side, majestic and untouchable.

It's brilliance forces everyone to lower their eyes.

Even Qian Daoliu's expression changed.

But before anyone could speak -

Something shifted.

Yin yue raised his left hand.

The golden heat did not intensify .

Instead - it cooled.

A serene, silvery aura spread outwards like moonlight spilling over calm waters.

From his right palm emerged the second celestial body.

The moon.

Luminous.

Pure.

It's surface glowed with tranquil brilliance, casting soft silver light that interwined with the blazing gold of the sun.

The two celestial bodies hovered around him.

Left - the blazing sun.

Right - the serene moon.

They did not clash.

They revolved slowly around his body.

Perfectly balanced.

The temperature within the hall stablized unnaturally - neither hot nor cold.

Harmony -

Complete harmony.

Then - Yin yue's body began to change.

His black hair shimmerd.

Strands turned brilliant gold, radiant like sunlight at noon -

Then shifted to silver, cool like moonlight at midnight.

Back and forth.

Gold.

Silver.

Gold.

Silver.

It flowed continuously like day and night cycling in a eternal rhythm.

His skin became like white jade.

Flawless. Beautiful and delicate.

At his forehead a mark appeared.

At first it was a faint golden sigil shaped like a rising sun.

Then it shifted - reshaping into a cresent moon.

It too shifted with his hairs, one moment sun the next moment moon.

The pressure in the hall surged.

Not holy like the angel.

But vast, cosmic.

The sun flared.

The moon shimmered.

The two celestial spirits aligned perfectly behind him. At that moment, yinyue opened his eyes.

His eyes were still purple, but something has changed they were glowing like stars, like the most valuable diamonds.

The entire hall fell into absolute silence.

Jiang Mo unconsciously took a step back.

"Dual - celestial spirits"

Qian xunji's voice was barely audible.

"Twin martial spirits, the sun and moon"

Golden crocodile douluo exclaimed.

Even ling yun's steady composure wavered for the first time.

Only Qian Daoliu remained unmoving, though his golden eyes burned with intensity.

He extended his spiritual sense towards the child.

"Innate spirit power..."

His hand trembled faintly.

"Level twenty"

The words echoed beneath the vaulted ceiling.

Two supreme spirits.

Perfect balance.

Full innate spirit power beyond mortal standards.

The sun and moon continued to revolve around Yin yue for several seconds before slowly dissolving into his body.

He descended into the ground.

His hairs were now golden, falling to his waist.

The mark of the sun was shining at his forehead but soon it vanished into his skin.

The hall felt heavier now.

As if destiny has been rewritten.

The boy who they thought would awaken a waste martial spirit has altered his destiny by Awakening the sun and moon martial spirit.

Yin yue stood quietly within the fading light.

Small.

Calm.

Unshaken.

His hairs which were now golden were brushed by the gentle wind making them flow like silk.

But douluo hall would never forgot the moment when day and night rose together beneath it's sacred roof.
