Lu Jingxing took Wanyun to the Wei Family's study and summoned Duke Wei, Lady Wei, and Wei Mingsang.
When Lu Jingxing saw Wei Mingsang, he grabbed a nearby inkstone and smashed it viciously into Wei Mingsang's knee, forcing him to his knees.
Seeing this, Lady Wei quickly knelt. "Your Majesty, please calm your anger. What has this rebellious son done wrong?"
Lu Jingxing said coolly, "Grandmother's sudden collapse today was because of a drug he gave her!"
Hearing this, Duke Wei angrily berated Wei Mingsang. "Is what His Majesty says true? You rebellious son!"
Wei Mingsang admitted openly, "That drug won't do any real harm to Grandmother's health. I just wanted you to think Wanruo could save her, so you would stop being so prejudiced against her!"
Utterly disappointed, Lady Wei slapped Wei Mingsang hard across the face. "Your grandmother has always treated you so well! Of all her children and grandchildren, she loves you the most! How could you be so rebellious and unfilial!"
