As a dark purple meteor fell from the sky, Jie Lan landed, carrying Su Xuan, in the city closest to the Dark Forbidden Forest.
The hundred-kilometer journey, which had seemed so distant, took Jie Lan only a few minutes.
"We've arrived."
Jie Lan set Su Xuan down from her arms and patted his shoulder.
Su Xuan, however, was still in a bit of a daze.
Of course, it wasn't her flight speed that had left him dizzy, but the fact that the back of his head had kept bumping against the solid armor on Jie Lan's chest during the trip.
Assuming the armor wasn't just for show, Jie Lan's figure was as impressive as her speed.
"Thanks."
Su Xuan thanked Jie Lan, patting down his messy bangs.
"Human, Paslo has already told me everything." Jie Lan placed her hands on her hips, her gaze lingering on Su Xuan for a moment. "I heard you're working to help the Dark Elves return to the Elf Kingdom and that you've already earned the Elf Queen's trust."
