The atmosphere in the room froze in an instant. Fang Jie, realizing she'd said something awkward, abruptly stopped talking.
Finally, Lin Jiang broke the silence.
"Don't worry, I won't read too much into it."
His saying that only made Fang Jie even more embarrassed.
"I was talking about the pressure you were applying to my back…"
"Your explanation is just making it more awkward."
"Oh, you're terrible…"
Lin Jiang gently helped her with the stretch.
'For him, pressing on her back wasn't the interesting part. The view from behind, however, was quite a sight.'
"Alright, you're all the way down."
"You can let go now."
"Mm."
Lin Jiang went back to the sofa. Fang Jie remained in the same pose, meticulously holding her form.
About half an hour later, Fang Jie finished her yoga session.
"It's getting late. I should be heading back."
Fang Jie glanced at her watch. It was indeed getting late, so she felt she couldn't ask Lin Jiang to stay any longer.
