At the film studio, Riley Perry was in her room, fingers flying across her keyboard. Her phone chimed. She quickly replied: Really? Did you just get the thermos, or did you just get home?
Cole Sinclair: I happened to get back right as it was delivered.
Why aren't you asleep yet?
Riley Perry: Just about to get in bed.
Cole Sinclair's chat box showed he was typing. But after he'd been typing for quite a while, she only received a single sentence: Then you should get some sleep. Good night.
Riley Perry was puzzled. 'Five minutes to type out eight words, punctuation included? Isn't this guy just wasting my time?' She sent a "good night" back and didn't think about it anymore.
The materials for the robot happened to be delivered to the hotel today. She needed to assemble all the components and see how the final product looked. Without a finished product, her pitch would lack some convincing power.
