「Two years later...」
In a dense forest, the members of Squad 541 lay prone behind some bushes, camouflaged hats woven from twigs on their heads.
"Captain, those two soldiers are about to enter our trap zone," Xiao Chang reported in a low voice, crawling up beside Yuan Si.
Yuan Si didn't even deign to grunt at him. 'We're in the same spot. He can see them, so does he think I'm blind? What's the point of his blabbering? He should just stay put.'
The forest fell silent. Ten pairs of eyes were fixed on the two M Country soldiers not far ahead, who were carrying packs and holding rifles.
Suddenly, the two soldiers vanished from where they stood. A moment later, two male screams of agony and a string of foreign-sounding profanities erupted from the trap area.
"We got 'em!" Xiao Wang exclaimed in an excited whisper.
The others were excited too, but they held back from making a sound, turning to look at their captain, Yuan Si, waiting for her command.
