Zachary Sullivan was driving, and Jane Sterling sat in the back, her expression slightly dazed. 'Is this mission really about the Sullivan ancestral home?'
"Zachary, are we heading to the ancestral home?"
Jane Sterling asked softly. Zachary Sullivan nodded, his expression somewhat grave.
"We are. If you don't want to go back..."
"No, I want to go back!"
Jane Sterling quickly cut Zachary Sullivan off. To be honest, she didn't really remember the circumstances of being lost. She had been too young, so she certainly didn't hold any grudges.
Aside from the moment her adoptive parents found their biological daughter and turned on her, the rest of her life hadn't been bad at all.
Having come to terms with it, Jane Sterling's mood suddenly lifted. 'But what's this about the woman in the basement the system mentioned?'
"Does the Sullivan ancestral home have a basement?"
Hearing Jane Sterling's question, Zachary Sullivan's hand on the steering wheel paused for a second.
