Jay-jay's POV
Keifer stopped the car at a distance. So that kuya Angelo won't see us. He must be at home now. I unbuckled my seatbelt and reached for the door handle but that serpent grabbed my hand.
What again?? I didn't use any profanity this time.
"What?"
"You're forgetting something" he grinned mischievously.
I forgot to punch you.
"You won't get anything from me. Keep crying"
I bit his wrist and jumped out of the car and ran inside the gate.
As I entered the house I bumped into someone. Oh shit, speaking of the lion.
"Kuya?"
"Where have you been?" His voice was dangerous.
"Umm... School..."
"It's 8:45 Jay. Since when you started attending a night school? I don't remember HVIS teaching their students at night."
"I was at a friend's house."
"Which friend?"
Peppa pig...Masha...I was being Dora.
"You don't know her."
"Jay....which friend?"
"Kuya! Tita is calling you."
I ran upstairs. He was yelling behind me. But I ran straight to my room and closed the door behind me.
I changed and then lied down on the bed.
Did Yuri came home? Or he wasn't home yet?
I sat up on my bed. Grabbed my phone and messaged the red headed rooster.
Jay:You home??
No replies.
I unlocked my door without any sound and went to the horoscope's room. Knocked once. No answer. Second time. Still nothing. I was going to knock third time when he opened the door.
"What do you want?"
"Is Yuri home?"
"How would I know if he is home or not? Why are you asking me? Do I look like his bodyguard?"
"I was asking because you both live in the same room"
" Yeah not by choice!"
"So...is he home?"
"No... You've got your answer. Now you can leave."
"Rude."
Keifer's POV
Did she just bit me? You'll pay for this Mrs. Watson.
But she was definitely hiding something from me.
What happened at Drew's house?
Why was she asking about Yuri?
Jay.... you're impossible...you think I can't find out anything if you hide it from me... I can Jay..I can... I always do.
Keifer: I miss your lips.
Jay:😛
Keifer: keep doing that and I will do something you'll regret about later.
She had seen my message but didn't reply.
I drove home. Honey was there waiting for me.
"You're late"
"It's 9:30"
"We were supposed to talk,Keifer!"
"About what?" I asked calmly.
"About Keigan."
"Give him some time. He'll be okay"
"Are you seriously saying that Keifer??"
" Why are you more interested in my brother more than me?"
"I'm just worried."
"Well you don't have to. Mind your own business. Give your attention to Angelo."
I went straight to my room without waiting for her reply. I showered. Drapped a towel around my waist and grabbed my phone.
I called Edrix. He answered after third ring.
"Hello.."
"Yes Keifer"
"I need information"
"Information about what, Keifer?"
"About Yuri."
