Sora's POV
I leaned slightly toward Yeongjae while pulling another shot of espresso, lowering my voice just enough for only him to hear.
"Just so you know," I said, pretending to be very focused on the machine, "I'm happy because my empty properties are finally leased. Not because my café suddenly turned into a runway."
His mouth twitched. Just a little.
"Sure," he said dryly. "Whatever helps you sleep at night."
I shot him a look. He almost smiled.
By the time the last cup was served and the final plate was sent to the table, my arms ached, and my apron smelled like coffee and sugar, but my heart felt strangely light. The rush was gone, the café humming with satisfied chatter instead of chaos.
Yeongjae and I finally sat down with Jiho at a corner table.
Jiho folded his hands neatly. "I believe Jeremy already explained who I am, and how I'm related to Yeongjae."
