Chapter 39 - "Heaven Shakes: The Four Kings’ Strike."

-----

-----

In a village that glorified brute strength above all else—wild, fierce, and proud of it—the ninja of Kumogakure had long since crossed the line from admiration to outright worship for the monstrous gourmets in the video.

They weren't just impressed.

They were obsessed.

On screen, after both Sunny and Coco had been forced back one after the other, it became painfully clear: the enemy they faced had surpassed all imagination.

Zebra, who had been holding back until now, finally decided he'd had enough.

The barren plain trembled as he stomped down.

The ground beneath his foot caved in like a crushed black biscuit. A violent shockwave tore upward, dragging dust and debris into a spiraling tornado that shot straight into the sky.

Boom!

In a single instant, the earth split open, leaving behind a massive crater so deep it seemed bottomless.

Zebra's crimson hair flared like living fire. A savage grin stretched across his face as he glared at the dragon circling above.

"Enough already. Get down here and face judgment!"

"Noise Thunder! Tremor Flash—Destruction Roar!"

As his voice fell, a blood-red sphere of lightning began to gather high in the sky. Energy swelled inside it, crackling violently. Wild arcs of electricity lashed outward, shredding the air itself.

The heavens turned crimson.

It was as if night soaked in blood had swallowed the world. Lightning shattered the sky again and again, warping the very space around it like fragile glass ready to break.

Then Zebra roared.

The sky split open.

Pillars of searing lightning—each as thick as a mountain—crashed down from the heavens with annihilating force, slamming directly into the dragon's colossal body.

The explosion that followed shook the universe.

For the first time, the unstoppable dragon was forced down.

Lightning crushed its arrogant frame, hammering it into the earth. The beast that had stood like an invincible god finally tasted defeat.

"ROOOAAAR—!!!"

This time, its scales failed it.

The red lightning pierced straight through armor and flesh alike. Pain ripped through its body, and its howl tore across the battlefield like the collapse of a mountain range.

Toriko World

"As expected of Zebra," Toriko muttered, eyes gleaming with admiration. "That raw battle spirit… that power… it's incredible."

Sunny's sister, Rin, wasn't nearly as generous.

"My brother is so embarrassing."

Watching Sunny's earlier struggle compared to Toriko and Zebra's overwhelming dominance, the disgust on her face could practically spill out of the screen. Her glamorous big brother had completely lost the spotlight to these muscle-headed maniacs.

IGO Headquarters

"Hahaha! That's my boys!"

Ichiryu, chairman of the IGO and mentor to the Four Heavenly Kings, beamed with unconcealed pride.

"Zebra's still as arrogant as ever," Mansam added with a laugh, one of the Three Great Powers of the Gourmet World. "But that strength? Absolutely unmatched."

One Piece World — Skypiea

"…He can control divine lightning too?!"

Enel, seated casually at the edge of his golden ark while biting into an apple, nearly shot to his feet. His eyes blazed with excitement at the sight of Zebra commanding the heavens.

But that excitement quickly soured.

Because he realized something.

Zebra's control over lightning… the purity of it, the sheer destructive force… it surpassed even his own power as a Logia user.

He had once dismissed the Raikage's lightning as mortal tricks. Child's play. Not worthy of the title "divine."

But this?

This was the embodiment of his ideal power.

Marine Headquarters

"Another immeasurable monster…"

Even knowing these warriors didn't belong to their world, Sengoku and the Navy leadership treated them with the utmost caution.

"Lightning… still the most purely destructive of elements."

Aokiji, half-asleep as usual, stared at the scarlet lightning flooding the sky. Even his lazy tone carried a hint of gravity.

The New World was already in turmoil. The Admirals and Garp were out on missions, pirates running rampant. The Navy could only maintain emergency high-level meetings via Den Den Mushi.

Storms were gathering everywhere.

Back to the battlefield.

A fat black cat seized the moment while the dragon was pinned down by lightning. Dragging along Daruma and Terry the Battle Wolf, it lunged onto the dragon's body and began tearing into it viciously.

Kicking someone while they're down works in every world.

"Daruma—Pressure Point!"

But they had underestimated the End Beast's vitality.

Their assault didn't deal the fatal blow they'd hoped for.

Instead, it enraged it.

"ROOOAAAR—!!!"

The roar turned physical.

A shockwave blasted outward, flattening the surrounding primeval forest as if swatted aside by an invisible god. The one man and two beasts clinging to the dragon were hit head-on, blown hundreds of meters away like broken kites.

Sunny regrouped behind Toriko, brushing dust from his hair.

"Be honest… taking on the End of the World with just the four of us? Isn't that a bit insane?"

Coco adjusted his glasses, calm as ever despite the chaos.

"It was never a battle we were meant to win. The odds were always hopeless. Just like our fates."

"You really don't sugarcoat things, do you?"

Then Zebra grinned again, blood at the corner of his mouth, eyes blazing.

"No. We still have a chance."

"There's something unstable inside that thing. A fluctuation that hasn't settled."

The man who looked like pure muscle and violence revealed a startling sharpness beneath the surface.

Toriko's eyes narrowed.

"So we finish this in one strike."

Across countless worlds, powerhouses leaned forward.

It was clear.

The Four Heavenly Kings were about to unleash everything.

Gourmet Cells—Full Power Awakening The Demons Within—Fully Unsealed

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH—!!!"

Their screams tore through the sky.

Four distinct auras exploded from their bodies, each radiating world-ending might.

Yellow—A steel-bodied gluttonous ogre.

Black—A venomous demon god, poisoning all existence.

White—A regal hair demon king, elegance turned lethal.

And the most terrifying of all—

Crimson. The primal King of Gluttony.

Four colossal demon apparitions rose behind the Four Kings, blotting out the sky. They roared in unison and lunged at the already faltering dragon.

The moment they collided—

It was as if the apocalypse had arrived.

The shockwave ripped the land apart, grinding the earth to dust. The entire plain nearly shattered under the impact.

Winds howled.

The thick, oppressive storm clouds were blown away in an instant.

And suddenly—

The sky turned blue.

Clear. Brilliant. Almost impossibly serene.

As if the battlefield had been reborn.

Naruto World

"…They broke the sky."

"What kind of power is this?! What are these people?!"

"Who could possibly fight something like that?!"

Across the Five Great Ninja Villages, every shinobi watching etched this scene into their very souls.

Konoha.

"YESSS! This is youth! This is passion!!!"

Might Guy's eyes were bloodshot with excitement, body trembling as Toriko and the others erupted with overwhelming power.

"Lee! We're running one hundred laps around Konoha—on our hands! Let's meet this challenge with burning youth!!!"

Fairy Tail World

"This is… beyond ridiculous…"

Macao's face twisted in pure shock at the sight of the four demonic phantoms.

"It's practically cheating," Lucy whispered, frozen stiff.

"Hey, Natsu… your dragon dad… he's that strong, right?"

Gray, unusually serious, didn't even bother teasing.

"Uh… probably?" Natsu scratched his head, confidence wavering for once. Even he wasn't sure anymore.

The power on display had already blown past the limits of common sense.

Reborn! World

"…That's unbelievable."

Tsuna, Tenth Boss of the Vongola, stared wide-eyed at the four towering demons.

"Yeah," someone murmured beside him. "That kind of power—something rooted in the very essence of life itself—it's on a completely different level from the flames our Rings can produce."

"....."
