Chapter 2 - chapter 3

The Crimson Night

On a night of the full moon, the armies of Nagarath struck without warning. Fire rose into the sky, and the peaceful streets turned into rivers of chaos.

King Maharath took up his sword and stood upon the palace steps, fighting with the strength of a lion. His armor was scarred, yet his spirit did not waver.

But betrayal cuts deeper than any blade. From behind, Commander Drohin struck the king down. The golden throne was stained with crimson.

With his final breath, the king commanded his young son, Arjun, to flee.

"You may lose the kingdom," he whispered, "but never lose your honor."

With tears blinding his eyes, Arjun vanished into the dark forest beyond the city walls.
