Chapter 6 - CHAPTER 6: BUILDING PARADISE

Three months later, Sienna stood in front of a mirror in a boutique bridal suite, staring at her reflection. "Oh wow" how her life has switched, she sighed.

The dress was simple—ivory silk that hugged her curves, a slit up one thigh. Elegant, Sexy and perfect.

"You look…beautifulll as always," her mother said from behind her, eyes shining with tears.

"Don't cry, Mom. You'll make me cry."

"I can't help it. My baby's getting married." she giggled.

Catherine touched Sienna's shoulder. "Are you happy, you really want this?"

"Deliriously."

"And Luca treats you well?"

Sienna thought about the way Luca woke her up that morning—his head between her thighs, tongue working her slowly until she came apart gasping his name. How he'd made love to her in the shower after, whispering promises in Italian. How he'd watched her dress with such hunger she'd almost cancelled the wedding planning appointment, how he'd cancel his appointments just to be with her when she's bored, she could go on and on and on.

"He treats me incredibly well mum." she said with a smile.

The wedding day was finally here, very small and private—just family and close friends. They'd decided against the massive production Maria Marchetti (Luca's mom) had wanted. Instead, they were getting married at his family vineyard outside the city, with only fifty guests.

Now, a week before the ceremony, Sienna was finalizing last-minute details while trying not to think about the fact that she was marrying a former mob boss.

Former being the operative word. In the three months since Marco's arrest, Sienna had insisted Luca should systematically transition his operations. The illegal enterprises were shut down and sold off. Marchetti Enterprises was now fully legitimate—construction, real estate, investments. Clean money, safe cash, Legal business.

It was working, mostly.

"One more fitting," the seamstress said. "Just to make sure everything's perfect."

An hour later, Sienna left the boutique and found Luca waiting in his car outside. He wasn't supposed to be there—bad luck to see the dress and all that—but..yea he's lucas, never good at following rules.

"Did you see it?" she teasingly asked, sliding into the passenger seat.

"No. But I saw your face when you came out." He leaned over, kissed her thoroughly. "You're going to be the most beautiful bride in the world."

"Biased much?"

"Absolutely." His hand slid up her thigh. "We have an hour before your mother expects you for dinner. Come home with me."

"Luca, we've had sex three times today already."

"And? I'm trying for a record– maybe Grammy?"

She laughed, but heat was already pooling low in her belly. "You're insatiable."

"Only with you, *tesoro* Only ever with you."

They made it to his penthouse in record time. Luca had her pressed against the elevator wall before the doors even closed, his mouth on her neck, hands already working her skirt up.

"Can't wait," he muttered. "Need you now."

The elevator opened directly into his penthouse. He backed her toward the living room, leaving a trail of clothes behind them. By the time they reached the couch, they were both naked.

Luca sat down, pulled her onto his lap. "Ride me."

Sienna straddled him, sinking down onto his cock with a moan. She was already wet from his teasing in the elevator, and he slid in easily.

"Fuck, you feel good," Luca groaned, hands gripping her hips. "You always feel so good."

She started moving, rolling her hips, taking him deep. Luca's hands roamed her body—her breasts, her waist, her ass. He leaned forward, caught one nipple in his mouth, sucking hard.

"Luca," she gasped, fingers tangling in his hair.

"That's it, baby. Take what you need. Use me."

She rode him harder, chasing her pleasure. Luca's thumb found her clit, circling with perfect pressure. The combination of his cock inside her and his fingers on her clit pushed her over the edge fast.

She came with a cry, clenching around him. Luca groaned, his hips bucking up into her as he followed her over the edge, spilling inside her.

After, they stayed connected, foreheads pressed together, breathing hard.

"I love you," Luca said.

"I love you too."

"One week until you're my wife."

"One week until you're stuck with me forever." she teased

"Can't wait." He kissed her softly. "Though I should probably tell you—there's a complication."

Sienna pulled back. "What kind of complication?"

"The Volkov family is making noise. They're not happy about me going legitimate. They think it makes me weak."

"Are they threatening you?"

"Not directly. But Aleksander Volkov wants a meeting, next week. Before the wedding."

Fear spiked through her. "That's not a coincidence."

"No. It's a power play. He wants to see if I'll bend." Luca's hands tightened on her waist. "I won't. I'm done with that life, Sienna. But I need to handle this carefully."

"What do you need from me?"

"Just be ready. If things go south—"

"They won't."

"But if they do, you grab your mother and you run. Promise me."

"I'm not, I'm soon to be your wife" she was almost yelling.

" I know, darling, but I'm not letting you risk your life– just promise me, Sienna. I need to know you're safe."

"I promise. But nothing's going to happen. We're going to have our wedding, our honeymoon, our life. Volkov can't touch us." She leaned on his chest hoping she was right.

---

The meeting with Volkov happened three days before the wedding. Sienna insisted on being there, despite Luca's protests.

"You're not going alone," she said firmly. "We're partners. That means we face things together." she said stubbornly.

"Hope our kids take the good part from u and not this stubborness

They met at a neutral location—an upscale restaurant Luca owned. Aleksander Volkov arrived with two bodyguards, looking exactly like the Russian mobster he was—expensive suit, cold eyes, dangerous smile.

"Luca," Volkov said, shaking his hand. "And the beautiful Sienna. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding."

"Thank you," Luca said evenly. " So..what can I do for you, Aleksander?"

" Take a seat mann, a drink at least" he beckoned on his guard to serve them.

"I hear you're going legitimate, shutting down operations, making everything legal." Volkov sipped his vodka. "Some of my associates are concerned, they think you're getting..weak, soft."

"I'm getting smart. There's a difference."

"Is there? Because from where I sit, you're abandoning everything your father built. Everything WE built together."

"My father's empire was built on blood and fear. I'm building something better."

"Better?" Volkov laughed. "There's no 'better' in our world, Luca. There's only power and weakness. And right now, you look weak."

Sienna felt Luca tense beside her. She put her hand on his thigh under the table—a reminder that he wasn't alone, calming him down.

"I'm not weak," Luca said quietly. "I'm choosing a different path. You can respect that or not. Either way, I'm done with the old ways."

"And what if I don't respect it? What if I decide to take what you're giving up?"

The threat hung in the air. Luca's security, positioned throughout the restaurant, shifted almost unnoticeably.

"Then we'll have a problem," Luca said. "And I promise you, Aleksander—I may be going legitimate, but I still know how to protect what's mine. And she—" He gestured to Sienna. "—is mine. This restaurant is mine, this city is mine. You try to take any of it, and you'll find out I'm not nearly as soft as you think."

" Oh please, not been disrespectful but I have too much to worry about, not a woman." Volkov said.

After studying them for a long moment, he smiled. "Good. I was hoping you still had some fire in you." He stood. "Enjoy your wedding, Luca. And congratulations again. She's a beautiful woman. Don't fuck it up."

After he left, Sienna let out a breath she didn't know she'd been holding. "That went better than expected."

"He was testing me. Seeing if I'd fold." Luca turned to her. "Thank you for being here."

"Always."

He kissed her, deep and claiming, right there in the restaurant. When they finally pulled apart, his eyes were dark with need.

Gently they walked to their car and drove off in a flash, having endless discussions about their future and of course my money.

As he pulled over at the garage, he quickly got out of his car–turned to the passenger seat and lifted sienna up,as if they were in a romance movie.

Looking surprised, she giggled like a little teenager in love for the first time.

Later, in bed, wrapped in his arms, Sienna stared at her engagement ring—a simple platinum band with a single diamond. In three days, there'd be a wedding band next to it. In three days, she'd be Sienna Marchetti.

The girl who'd come to Chicago for revenge had found love instead. And the man she'd planned to destroy had become her entire world. How things had changed so fast.

"What are you thinking about?" Luca asked, his fingers tracing her bare shoulders.

"About how different my life is from what I planned."

"Better or worse?"

"So much better." She turned in his arms. "I came here to ruin you. Instead, you gave me everything. How did that happen so fast"

"We gave each other everything." He kissed her forehead. "Three more days, *tesoro*. Three more days and you're stuck with me forever."

"Tesoro, Can't wait." she mocked.

"I saw what you did there" he playfully grabbed her.

Whatever challenges lay ahead—Volkov, the families, the constant threat of violence—they'd face them together.

Because the ruin of wanting him had become the foundation of something stronger.

Love. Partnership and a very sweet Forever– Or so, they anticipated.
