Chapter 2 - hell university

Jay POV

I never thought a place could feel wrong before anything even happened.

But the moment I stepped inside Hell University, I knew.

They said we were transferred here because we were special smart, capable, chosen. Seven of us arrived together, carrying nothing but confusion and fake confidence.

Aries walked ahead calmly, like fear didn't exist for him. Percy joked around, trying to lighten the mood. Jas stayed sharp and alert, Dane looked relaxed but ready, and Lia stayed close to me. Ella was quiet, observing everything with those unreadable eyes.

As for me?

I stayed ready to fight.

The gates closed behind us with a heavy sound, and something inside my chest tightened.

This place wasn't normal.

The corridors were silent. Too clean. Too empty. Our phones had no signal. No internet. No connection to the outside world. It felt like the world had erased us the moment we entered.

They gave us uniforms. Rooms. Pills.

No explanations.

That night, the rules were announced.

After 7 PM, no one was allowed outside their rooms.

To survive, we had to take pills every single day.

If even one drop of blood fell, the Five Masked Men would be drawn to it.

Only a few people...special ones...could control them during Bloody Night.

Names were whispered with fear.

Kiefer—the Head Supremo of Hell University.

Calm. Cold. Untouchable.

Yuri—his assistant. Impatient. Cruel. Dangerous.

They said only the smartest students could leave.

Top eight.

I laughed when I heard that.

Because there were more than eight of us.

Which meant this place never planned for everyone to survive.

As the lights dimmed and doors locked automatically, I sat on my bed, fists clenched.

Hell University wasn't here to teach us anything.

It was here to break us.

And I had no intention of being the one who broke first.
