Chapter 1 - 1: Accidentally entered a dungeon

Within a certain province in the Philippines.

A man was walking on the roadside bridge of the highway back to his house.

Two weeks ago.

He almost passed out after doing push-ups to take back his ID from the faculty at his school.

He decided to increase his stamina since then.

At first, he tried running for ten minutes straight, but having never done a physical workout.

He didn't last even for a minute straight, before stopping.

Seeing how low his stamina was, he decided to start from the basics and just — walk.

Ever since then, he would spend at least one hour walking around back and forth in his neighborhood.

So far, he found himself actually loving doing this.

Although the fruit of his work is still nonexistent, he could tell he was having better endurance now.

Before the man knew it, his phone started playing the song: 2002.

Reminding him that he had walked for an hour already.

Seeing how even after walking for over an hour, he was still breathing normally.

He decided to walk for another three minutes straight before going home.

As he was about to pass by the bridge on the highway, he suddenly felt a chill in his spine, making him run away.

As he was about to leave the bridge he was on, he suddenly spotted a coin in the road.

Picking it up, a cold stream ran through his entire body.

"What?!" He exclaims, his eyes seeing a new world before him.

Unlike the lighted road of the highway, he was in a forest with no leaves.

Seeing all of this, the man turned on the flashlight in his phone, pointing it in front of him.

Ding!

His phone rang out.

Opening it, he found a message on it.

Opening this message it tell:

You have picked up a dungeon coin.

Because of this, the owner of this coin wants to take it back from you.

Reading those words, a growl suddenly appeared before him.

Raising his head, he found a small figure hiding behind a tree.

Flashing the light into it, he found himself staring at a green humanoid figure with a mohawk.

Holding a small stone pickaxe in his right hand, with a small brownish fabric covering its private area.

"Human....that's mine...." The figure said, pointing the tip of his pickaxe at the man.

"This?" The man said, showing the coin he had just picked up.

"You can have it back!" He said, throwing it to the green figure.

"So, can I go now?" He asked the green figure.

"No!" The green figure yelled.

"You're a thief! You deserve to die!" It screamed, rushing towards the man.

Seeing this, the man didn't panic, instead he lowered his phone.

Letting the green figure come at him.

As the green figure was about to hit him with the tip of the pickaxe, he raised his phone, blinding its eyes.

Making the figure cover its eye, and lowering its grip on its weapon.

Using this chance, the man quickly swung his right hand into the head of this figure.

Giving a clean hit to its head, making it fully lose its grip on the pickaxe.

"This is mine now!" The man said, grabbing the pickaxe in his hand.

Raising it above his head, he hammered the head of the figure before him.

Digging the tip of it, in its skull.

Making blood splatter around the area and onto him.

"Haha." The man laughed, from his action.

"It's a fucking goblin." He said, pulling out the pickaxe from the goblin's head.

Ding!

Congratulations, you have successfully killed a monster.

You can now access the dungeon store.

You can now access your physical abilities.

Hearing his phone talking, he flipped it and saw his physical abilities points.

Physical abilities: Strength: 3. Stamina: 4. Agility: 5.

Note: The average point is 5. Weakling. 🤡.

"Dungeons are real, huh?" He said, moving towards the coin he thrown away a moment ago.

You have obtained one dungeon coin. Converting it to store points.

Current store points: 10.

Before the man could say a word to the message on his phone, he was back on the highway.

Looking around, he found everything still the same.

Except for the message on his phone.

"Haaaah..." He sighed and decided to go home for now.
