Chapter 136 - Chapter 133: The Fake World and the Crimson Pinwheel

'Madara was absolutely right... all of this is completely fake.'

In all things in this broken world, wherever there is light, there must fundamentally be shadows.

If there are momentary winners, there must be losers to bleed for them.

The true real world should be a world of only absolute peace! A world of only perfect, unchanging love! A world where absolutely everyone is a winner!

Only in that perfect, infinite dream world would he still be an active, living member of the three-man squad.

Only there would Rin still show him that gentle, beautiful smile and promise she would always be watching over him.

Only such a world is an acceptable reality.

The current world...

"I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO ACCEPT THIS HELL!"

The blinding, psychotic anger of being forgotten by his family, perfectly fused with the apocalyptic sorrow over Rin's apparent, bloody murder at the hands of a comrade.

This devastating psychological trauma caused the Two Tomoe in Obito's bleeding eyes to violently pause for a split second... followed instantly by an impossibly fast, blurring rotation as the tomoe violently linked together.

Those... what kind of cursed, apocalyptic eyes are those?!

A dark, complex, scythe-like pinwheel pattern gradually, violently appeared and solidified in his pupils. A freezing, ominous surge of massive ocular power erupted like a physical, radioactive shockwave, exploding outward with Obito at the epicenter!

Kakashi, being the closest, bore the absolute, brutal brunt of it.

Kakashi suddenly screamed, feeling a sharp, agonizing pain and a violent, biological resonance pulse directly from his own transplanted Sharingan. His brain felt exactly as if it had been struck by an industrial hammer, causing him to groan in agony as his vision blurred.

Through the genetic link of the eyes, Kakashi's Two Tomoe rapidly evolved into Three Tomoe, and then violently transformed into the exact same scythe-like Mangekyō Sharingan pattern.

Unable to handle the apocalyptic, sudden drain of this advanced Dojutsu on his already empty chakra reserves, Kakashi's eyes rolled back into his head, and he violently fainted dead away into the mud.

Deep underground, Madara Uchiha, who had been observing the resonance from afar, curled his lips into a deeply satisfied, cold smile.

"Finally... the flower of despair has fully bloomed. I wonder exactly what specific, god-like ocular technique you will physically manifest from this trauma, Obito."

On the chaotic battlefield.

Obito was completely, entirely oblivious to the changes occurring within himself.

He only felt that the entire physical world had become fundamentally different.

All colors were terrifyingly, hyper-realistically vivid.

All ambient sounds were clear.

But absolutely all of this newfound power was entirely meaningless to him now.

Obito stared directly at Kiyohara with his lone, bleeding, angry eye.

It was him.

It was him who coldly, violently pierced Rin with a burning blade.

"You... must... DIE!"

BOOM!

The muddy ground beneath Obito's feet exploded violently as he physically turned into a white blur, carrying violent, apocalyptic chakra and freezing, unadulterated killing intent as he lunged straight for Kiyohara's throat!

Meanwhile, Kiyohara had just flawlessly completed the most crucial medical step of saving Rin's life.

'Such impossible speed. Is this the raw biological enhancement granted after awakening the Mangekyō?'

Kiyohara's single-tomoe Sharingan rapidly captured the aerodynamic trajectory of Obito's frantic movements, and his body instinctively, violently retreated.

The current Obito was statistically in a terrifying, triple-buffed genetic state: Hashirama cells + Mangekyō Sharingan + Spiral White Zetsu exoskeleton. He was truly stacked with apocalyptic buffs.

Holding Rin's unconscious body securely in one arm, Kiyohara perfectly dodged Obito's lethal punch by millimeters and body-flickered smoothly to the high canopy of an ancient oak tree.

Seeing his target evade, Obito screamed and violently swung his right hand. Dozens of massive, razor-sharp wooden spikes slowly, sickeningly squeezed out from the white flesh of his palm before being blasted outward with explosive kinetic force, raining down on Kiyohara's position like a ballistic storm!

Kiyohara maintained the continuous Hemostasis Technique on Rin's massive chest wound with his left hand, while violently spreading the fingers of his right hand.

Massive volumes of black iron sand instantly, magnetically condensed into an impossibly thick, curved shield in front of them in the air.

THUD-THUD-THUD-THUD!

The heavy iron sand shield vibrated violently from the kinetic impact of the wooden spikes, and numerous deep physical pits appeared on its smooth surface. The sharpest, heaviest few logs even penetrated the outer layer of the shield, but were ultimately, flawlessly blocked by Kiyohara reinforcing the sand with Steel Release hardening.

'The genetic degree of his cellular fusion is very high; he can already effortlessly deploy Wood Release,' Kiyohara analyzed coldly, looking down at Obito through the shield.

Undoubtedly, after being surgically transplanted with half a body's worth of Hashirama cells, Obito was currently one of the only living ninjas on the planet who could naturally synthesize Wood Release.

To be completely honest, Kiyohara didn't logically understand why Madara was so confident the boy would even survive the surgery.

Decades ago, in order to attempt to genetically replicate Hashirama's legendary Wood Release, Konoha Command had authorized countless horrific human experiments, absolutely all of which resulted in the test subjects suffering agonizing cellular rejection and sudden death. The mortality rate eventually forced the Hokage to issue an emergency halt.

Under those political circumstances, Orochimaru had secretly continued the illegal experiments with Danzo. Finally, combining previous failed data, they experimented on fifty captive infants, and only a single one survived.

That person was the Root operative codenamed 'Kinoe', also later known as Yamato.

But even Yamato's highly refined, genetically stable Wood Release was completely, incomparable to the raw, apocalyptic power Obito currently displayed.

Madara had literally sewn half a biological body's worth of highly volatile Hashirama cells onto a crushed teenager right from the start, seemingly without even caring what would happen if the violent cellular fusion failed and killed him. It was a terrifying gamble.

Kiyohara then pulled several premium shuriken from his tactical pouch and threw them aggressively downward. The shuriken, trailing high-tensile copper wires, whistled through the air directly toward Obito's chest.

However... they eerily, impossibly passed completely, seamlessly through Obito's physical body, exactly as if they had struck a ghost.

'Is it still... Kamui?' Kiyohara frowned slightly, his analytical brain racing.

From Obito's severely traumatized psychological perspective, Kiyohara was the brutal murderer who had just killed Rin. Yet... the Mangekyō still manifested Kamui?

Was it born from a subconscious, desperate psychological desire to completely escape this cruel, bloody world and become untouchable?

Or was it simply a genetic absolute that if Obito were to live, his specific DNA was biologically destined to manifest Kamui?

Kiyohara clearly remembered from the canon lore that when Obito survived the cave-in, Madara had cryptically remarked that it was exactly as if the crushing rocks had simply "passed through him."

Those were the exact original words. As for how much of that was a truth regarding an early, subconscious awakening, and how much was just a cynical lie to psychologically manipulate Obito's sense of destiny, Kiyohara had no way of knowing.

The exact next microsecond, Kiyohara pulled his hand back violently. The copper wires attached to the shuriken suddenly, forcefully tightened, flashing with a cold glint under the moonlight as they whipped back.

They formed a massive, crisscrossing razor net, completely blocking Obito's physical path forward.

While actively utilizing Kamui for absolute 'intangibility', the user's physical body cannot touch or interact with external objects either. They cannot attack while completely intangible.

'The maximum duration of his intangibility is exactly five minutes—no, the current Obito isn't used to the ability yet, it will be shorter,' Kiyohara dodged and moved rapidly through the canopy while holding Rin, analytically observing the enraged Obito's chaotic behavior.

Every single Uchiha requires a significant period of biological and psychological adjustment to master the complex chakra mechanics of their new ocular techniques. As proficiency increases over years of use, the ability becomes increasingly, apocalyptically powerful.

"Obito! Don't lose your damn mind, be careful of the wire traps!" Spiral Zetsu advised desperately.

However, the current Obito was entirely, violently consumed by raw, psychotic emotion and couldn't process any tactical advice.

He simply followed his deepest, most primal instincts in deploying the Wood Release abilities.

Several massive, ancient-looking trees, as thick as several men could embrace, violently, sickeningly extended directly from Obito's white flesh, constantly spiraling upward toward the canopy.

Like a massive, wooden vortex, they attacked Kiyohara's position.

Any surviving Kirigakure operatives along the path who couldn't body-flicker away in time were instantly crushed or brutally impaled to death under this apocalyptic strike.

This horrific, area-of-effect technique would later be classified in the Bingo Books as... Wood Release: Cutting Sprigs Technique!

"THIS ENTIRE WORLD IS FAKE!"

Obito shouted a psychotic battle cry, then rapidly formed hand seals and spat out a massive, apocalyptic fireball that dwarfed standard jutsu.

"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"

Kiyohara's Sharingan flawlessly tracked the aerodynamic trajectory of the incoming, massive fireball. He smoothly, casually condensed a hyper-dense, spindle-shaped iron sand projectile in his palm and channeled Lightning.

SQUELCH!

A streak of black light flashed, accompanied by a sonic boom. It pierced completely through the massive fireball, instantly extinguishing it via kinetic pressure, and shot directly through Obito's torso.

A massive spray of white fluid and human blood appeared on Obito's right arm as the supersonic round tore through his shoulder. He hadn't activated intangibility in time.

"That's enough, Obito! You're not used to your ocular ability yet, you're going to get yourself killed!" Spiral Zetsu yelled frantically.

Obito was a highly important, irreplaceable pawn for Madara's grand design and absolutely could not be allowed to die here in a useless rage.

More importantly, White Zetsu's subterranean clones sensed a massive number of chakra signatures rapidly approaching the grid.

It was the Konoha heavy reinforcements!

With such a massive, apocalyptic, geographical commotion occurring here, it was impossible not to attract immediate attention from the main Konoha camp miles away.

Since Madara's objective had been flawlessly achieved, there was absolutely no strategic need for Obito to stay here and risk capture or death.

'As expected, Obito has just awakened his eyes and isn't very proficient with the complex timing of Kamui yet,' Kiyohara had a perfectly accurate tactical read of the situation after seeing Obito fail to dodge the railgun.

He raised his hand again, lethal electromagnetic arcs crackling violently in his palm, preparing a second, fatal projectile.

Obito could physically feel an absolute, mortal sense of danger emanating from Kiyohara's hand.

Having encountered the supersonic velocity of the attack once and lost a chunk of his arm, he was now fully on guard against it.

While slowly, agonizingly healing his shattered shoulder using the Hashirama cells, he moved aggressively toward Kiyohara's tree.

The apocalyptic power of Wood Release was once again violently displayed. He continuously used large-scale, massive Wood Release ninjutsu, driving massive tree trunks that resembled giant, wooden pythons to aggressively attack Kiyohara from all angles.

Kiyohara didn't retreat. He rapidly formed seals with one hand and unleashed several massive, highly compressed wind blades.

These aerodynamic blades flawlessly, violently sliced the incoming python-trunks cleanly in half, causing the massive wooden debris to crash heavily to the forest floor below.

Taking advantage of this microsecond gap in the defense, Obito body-flickered and finally reached Kiyohara's branch.

In order to physically materialize and violently attack Kiyohara, Obito was forced to recklessly, completely deactivate Kamui. He threw a devastating, hate-filled punch directly at Kiyohara's face.

Seeing Obito's incoming, enraged fist, Kiyohara's heart remained completely cold.

A pitch-black metallic color instantly covered his palm as Kiyohara casually, effortlessly caught Obito's rage-filled, augmented punch.

BANG!

A dull, sickening sound of kinetic impact erupted from the collision.

If an ordinary Jonin had physically faced this augmented, monstrous blow from Obito's Zetsu arm, their forearm bones would likely have been violently shattered into powder on the spot.

But Kiyohara's Steel Release effortlessly, flawlessly absorbed and blocked the kinetic attack.

Every single time he actively deployed Steel Release, Kiyohara also simultaneously, seamlessly applied a dense layer of Earth Release: Earth Spear underneath the steel as a tactical disguise. This dual-layer hardening made his palm indestructible to blunt force.

Obito failed completely in his strike and desperately tried to withdraw his hand, but it was held in an absolute, crushing vice grip by Kiyohara.

Then, Kiyohara applied his own monstrous, augmented physical force and squeezed down brutally.

CRUNCH.

Obito's right hand was directly, sickeningly crushed completely out of shape, the white bones snapping loudly, and then Kiyohara violently tore the hand completely off the wrist.

"AGH!"

Even though it was technically the Spiral Zetsu's biological right hand acting as a prosthetic, Obito still possessed connected nerve endings and felt the agonizing, blinding pain of the amputation.

After his hand was violently torn off, Obito hurriedly retreated several steps across the branch, clutching his leaking stump.

At the exact same time, dozens of figures wearing Konoha forehead protectors appeared rapidly on the surrounding tree trunks and in the lower vegetation, fully surrounding the grid.

"Have the Konoha reinforcements arrived?" Obito muttered, his eyes darting around wildly. His severed right hand was visibly, rapidly bubbling and recovering new white flesh.

Spiral Zetsu's body was biologically special to begin with, consisting only of a highly malleable layer of flesh without any conventional internal organs or solid bones to permanently break.

"That really hurt, Obito," Spiral Zetsu complained telepathically.

Obito completely ignored Spiral Zetsu; he just stared hatefully, obsessively at Kiyohara.

He stared specifically at the limp, bloody figure Kiyohara was securely holding in his other arm.

Then... under Obito's absolute, shocked, disbelieving gaze, that figure with closed eyes weakly moved her body. She struggled, stood up of her own accord on the branch, and... weakly opened her arms.

It was a small, fragile, yet unmistakably clear, protective stance.

She stood deliberately, physically between Kiyohara and Obito.

"Don't... don't you dare hurt... Kiyohara-kun..."

She looked directly at Obito, her voice halting and incredibly weak, yet carrying her own Ninja Way and her own stubborn, protective persistence.

Obito's Mangekyō Sharingan—which had been poised to launch another lethal strike, with its furiously spinning sickle-shaped pinwheel pattern—suddenly stopped dead, exactly as if a mechanical gear had violently jammed in his brain.

The bloody, psychotic light receded slightly from his vision.

He stared blankly, emptily at Rin.

Seeing that she was actually still alive.

Seeing her... actively, desperately protecting the very person who had supposedly just 'stabbed' her to death.

Seeing the... unfamiliarity and a heavy hint of terrified wariness in her beautiful eyes directed solely towards him?

And her... obvious, profound worry and absolute trust for the cold assassin standing behind her?

Why?

Why the hell was Rin still alive?

Why... why was she protecting Kiyohara from him?

Wasn't he... wasn't he doing absolutely all of this violence just to save Rin...?

Obito's traumatized brain completely, catastrophically crashed.

The dark, apocalyptic flames of destruction that had just ignited in his soul were violently doused by this sudden, inexplicable scene, like a basin of ice water poured on a fire, hissing pathetically but unable to burn fiercely anymore.

He opened his mouth beneath the mask, desperately wanting to say something, wanting to scream her name, wanting to beg her to explain what was going on.

But only meaningless, pathetic, gasping sounds came from his throat.

He looked at Rin's incredibly pale face, at the glaring, horrifying blood covering her chest, at her weak posture protecting Kiyohara...

Then he looked down at his own grotesque, half-human, half-ghost white appearance, and thought back on his frantic, murderous, indiscriminate assault just now...

A freezing, terrifying truth, exactly like a poisonous, jagged thorn, pierced his broken heart.

In Rin's eyes right now... he was nothing more than the terrifying, psychotic monster who 'harmed his comrades', wasn't he?

Just exactly like when she had furiously kicked him away at the very beginning of the reunion.

Just exactly like when she had attacked him during her Tailed Beast rampage earlier.

Never recognized.

Never loved.

Never changed anything.

Obito Uchiha... had truly died under those rocks long ago.

What remained now was just a pathetic, unlovable monster that simply shouldn't exist in this world.

Kiyohara quietly, analytically watched Obito's psychological collapse.

He was the only person present on the battlefield who recognized Obito's true identity through his foreknowledge of the canon plot.

So, from a tactical perspective, should he loudly reveal Obito's identity to Rin and the reinforcements right now?

This fleeting thought was immediately, permanently dismissed by Kiyohara's cold logic.

Madara Uchiha was still actively watching him through the Zetsu network. Revealing the truth now would be the equivalent of an old man eating pure arsenic—eagerly begging to shorten his own lifespan.

What Madara fundamentally wanted to do was permanently sever Obito's emotional bonds to Konoha and plunge him completely into darkness.

If Kiyohara spoke out and ruined the tragedy, it would mean Obito had a genuine possibility of re-establishing those bonds and returning to the light. Madara would instantly classify Kiyohara as a priority target and slaughter him.

Moreover... whether the other Konoha ninja would even believe him, and exactly how he was supposed to logically convince them he knew the monster's identity, was another massive political problem.

Even Kakashi and Minato hadn't recognized Obito's chakra signature in canon; they couldn't even sense his identity when fighting him in a death match years later. They only finally recognized him the exact moment Obito's physical mask was shattered, revealing his scarred face.

This strictly meant that unless Kiyohara physically overpowered Obito, forcefully removed his spiral mask, and violently ripped him out of the White Zetsu exoskeleton, the others wouldn't recognize him. Because Kiyohara lacked any physical evidence.

"You do not need to think about executing such thankless, suicidal tasks," the ghost of Uchiha Kiyohara materialized in the mental space, observing the calculations.

He looked at Kiyohara's cold expression and instantly knew what the boy was calculating.

Even though Obito was technically from the same ancestral clan, he and Kiyohara were both transmigrators, just operating from completely different, disconnected timelines. So the ghost didn't feel any sentimental kinship towards Obito either.

"You've already publicly displayed your newly awakened Sharingan abilities. This must have caught Madara's immediate, heavy attention," Uchiha Kiyohara stated coldly. "If Obito truly returns to the light here and abandons Madara... you'll have to be incredibly careful that you aren't abducted to serve as the new backup vessel."

His tone was tinged with cold pragmatism as he spoke of the absolute worst-case possibility.

Kiyohara fell silent at his words.

His future self was absolutely correct. Exposing Obito now was a death sentence.

"Ha... haha..."

Obito suddenly let out a low, broken, psychotic laugh in the physical world.

He took one absolute, final deep look at Rin's pale face, as if to permanently, agonizingly engrave her image deep into his shattered soul.

Then, he looked at no one else.

Spatial ripples exactly like a distorted whirlpool violently appeared in the air behind him, gradually, terrifyingly sucking Obito's physical body into the void.

Kiyohara also raised his hand, casually throwing a single shuriken for appearances.

But it was too late.

The spatial whirlpool snapped closed.

Obito's figure completely, flawlessly vanished into the distorted space-time dimension, leaving behind only a massive, bloody mess of destroyed trees and the severed white hand in the mud.

"Kiyohara! Are you all right?!"

Kurenai and the other reinforcements finally arrived at the branch, asking Kiyohara with frantic concern as they secured the perimeter.

"I'm mostly fine; you should urgently check on Kakashi. He took a heavy hit," Kiyohara pointed down to the unconscious Kakashi in the mud below.

"What exactly happened here?" Guy looked around in shock; there were massive, shattered tree trunks everywhere, with the torn, bloody bodies of Kirigakure ANBU scattered across them like broken dolls.

"We encountered a highly dangerous, strange rogue operative who could manipulate trees via Wood Release," Kiyohara stated clinically.

This was all the information he could safely provide for now.

Rin nodded weakly from the side, corroborating Kiyohara's official report before closing her eyes.

Later, as the medical reinforcements gave Kakashi some emergency fluids and carried him back on a stretcher, Kakashi slowly, groggily woke up from his physical exhaustion.

"I...?" Kakashi seemed to want to ask a desperate question, but then he clearly saw Rin and Kiyohara standing safely beside his stretcher, and he swallowed his panicked words.

"That strange, white person... his combat style really was incredibly like Obito," Kakashi muttered with a heavy, painful sigh.

Although the monster wasn't physically similar in many aspects, that reckless, suicidal streak to protect Rin reminded Kakashi of his dead friend.

"Kakashi. He cannot be Obito. Obito died completely under that boulder long ago," Rin gently interrupted Kakashi, her voice sad but firm.

The dead cannot be miraculously brought back to life.

This was Rin's simple, medical belief.

The other Konoha shinobi also nodded in agreement when they heard Rin's words. They thought the exact same, logical way.

Even if it truly were Obito somehow surviving, such an unprovoked, psychotic act of brutally attacking his own Konoha comrades would permanently brand him as an S-Rank Rogue Ninja.

Moreover, how could a dark, terrifyingly tall, strange-voiced, long-haired, spiral-faced biological freak be the sunny, pathetic boy who used to constantly clamor to become Hokage?

The physiological and psychological difference was so vast that absolutely no logical similarities could be found.

"You're right, Rin," Kakashi nodded slowly, accepting reality.

Comparing that strange, violent monster to Obito just now was a profound insult to Obito's heroic soul.

Kiyohara listened from behind without speaking, thinking coldly about how a person historically dies three times in their life:

When their heart stops beating.

When they die from the social and political network.

And finally, when they are permanently forgotten by everyone.

Obito had directly, tragically jumped to the second and third deaths.

If he had to describe it clinically, Obito was someone who had already been permanently issued a psychological 'death certificate' by his friends.

"Oh, by the way, Kiyohara... what exactly is going on with your eyes?" In their leisure walking back, Kakashi's spirit gradually recovered enough to ask the question.

The group headed slowly back to the main camp. Many heavily armed Konoha reinforcements had arrived this time, and they were cautiously, aggressively surrounding the grid.

"Let's talk about the details when we get back to a secure location," Kiyohara shook his head dismissively.

Exposing his Sharingan had its massive political pros and cons, and he needed time to construct a flawless alibi.

After safely returning to the main border camp.

Rin was immediately sent to a highly secure, medical isolation tent, where the elite Sealing Squad investigated the residual chakra signatures on her abdomen.

Minato Namikaze finally body-flickered into the camp after learning via radio what disaster had occurred in the sector.

"I am so deeply sorry, Kakashi. I was late again this time," Minato looked at Kakashi's casted arms with profound, crushing apology.

If it hadn't been for Kiyohara holding the line, Kakashi and Rin might have both been slaughtered there this time.

And the fact that Rin had been surgically implanted with the Three-Tails by the Hidden Mist was a massive, international incident. Minato believed that Konoha's High Command, having just received the terrifying intelligence, were currently desperately racking their brains for diplomatic countermeasures.

"It's fine, Sensei," Kakashi shook his head tiredly. "The process was a bit dangerous, but as long as Rin is okay, that's all that matters."

Minato continued to comfort Kakashi for a few more minutes, then finally turned his intense, assessing gaze to Kiyohara.

He had learned the terrifying, impossible intelligence about Kiyohara's Sharingan from Kakashi and Rin's debriefings.

It was still currently a relatively conservative secret; not many people in the camp knew.

But soon, the Hokage and the arrogant Uchiha Clan elders would inevitably summon Kiyohara for a political interrogation.

"Kiyohara..." Minato seemed to want to ask a highly sensitive political question.

Kiyohara spoke first, his voice absolutely smooth and loyal.

"It is entirely because of the generous support of Lord Hokage and the Village that I am who I am today. I serve Konoha."

He directly, flawlessly stated his political stance.

Hearing this unyielding loyalty, Minato's tense expression immediately softened into a warm smile.

There had historically been elite Uchiha who stood firmly with the Village over their clan before; for example, Kagami Uchiha had loyally served as the Second Hokage's personal guard. If Kagami had stepped forward earlier that year, he might even have been designated as the Third Hokage instead of Hiruzen. A loyal Uchiha was a massive asset.

"Let's find a highly secure place to talk about your biology in detail later," Minato said.

Kiyohara nodded respectfully.

Far away, in the absolute darkness of the Mountain's Graveyard.

Madara Uchiha slowly withdrew his telepathic gaze from the Zetsu network, tapping his withered fingers lightly, rhythmically on the stone armrest of his throne.

"Only a single eye retrieved... yet it awakened with a highly advanced, space-time Ninjutsu. Very good. Although the emotional process was somewhat... unexpected, the final psychological result is highly acceptable."

His ancient gaze seemed to physically penetrate the miles of solid rock wall, falling conceptually upon the cold young man who had saved Rin Nohara.

"Kiyohara... a hidden, wild Uchiha bloodline. Excellent, pragmatic Medical Ninjutsu. Lethally proficient in several opposing chakra natures. And also possesses a Magnet Release mutation..."

White Zetsu twisted its body beside the throne:

"Madara-sama. Should I deploy clones to covertly contact him? Or investigate his civilian background and family tree?"

Madara was completely silent for a long moment, then slowly shook his head.

"No need to waste resources. The primary chess piece has been permanently placed on the board, and the curtain of the grand stage has just been raised."

If Obito's awakened Mangekyō Dojutsu had been useless or weak, Madara might have desperately tried to abduct Kiyohara and activate the backup plan.

But now, Obito's Dojutsu exceeded all expectations; it was a phenomenally rare, invincible space-time jutsu.

Using this specific, untouchable Dojutsu to seamlessly replace his identity as 'Madara Uchiha' and terrorize the Ninja World was absolutely, perfectly suitable.
