All the Cursed Spirits present could hear the absolute confidence in Huddi's tone.
Mr. Enemy's eyes flickered, yet he did not argue.
"You speak the truth. This world has always followed the law of the jungle — the strong rule over the weak. It is only right."
"HA HA HA! Finally, someone who sees it the same way I do!"
Huddi threw his head back and laughed so loudly the ground shook and the entire temple trembled as if it might collapse.
Thankfully, the outburst did not last long; his laughter faded quickly, and the shaking stopped.
"Just the sound of his laugh carries such power?" Nana the Snow Woman thought, her heart pounding with dread.
Sanhu's face twisted into a grimace, as if recalling some terrifying memory from the past.
"Then it is settled. I will join your little organization — and you will hand over the position of leader to me. Together, we will tear this world apart!"
Mr. Enemy chuckled softly. "Let us not be hasty. I believe there is one matter we should make clear first."
"Oh?"
Without noticing, Huddi's eyes had narrowed to slits, and the immense, mountain‑like pressure radiating from him grew heavier and heavier, making it nearly impossible for Nana and the others to breathe.
It felt as though if Mr. Enemy spoke even one wrong word, none of them would ever leave this place alive.
But Mr. Enemy remained calm and unshaken. "Mr. Huddi, you are moving far too fast. The law of the jungle holds true, yes — but we have yet to determine who is truly strong and who is weak. Would you not agree?"
"HA HA HA! How amusing — truly amusing!"
Huddi laughed until tears streamed down his face, pounding his fist repeatedly against the ground.
The earth heaved, and the temple groaned loudly, its beams and walls creaking under the strain.
Outside, the villagers fell to their knees, kowtowing frantically and begging the great spirit not to grow angry. But Huddi did not hear their pleas — or if he did, he cared nothing for them.
He laughed even harder and slammed his fist down once more.
That single blow shattered the temple entirely. The ground of the village split open from south to north, tearing apart in a massive fissure.
Screams rang out as countless people fell into the chasm and vanished. Homes collapsed one after another, burying those who could not escape.
The sheer destructive force was terrifying beyond measure.
Eventually, Huddi's laughter died away. By then, the village had been reduced to ruins, and even the Pseudo‑Domain holding the temple together had crumbled under the shockwaves.
"Forgive me — I just heard something incredibly funny. Would you mind repeating what you said?"
The moment his laughter stopped, Huddi fixed Mr. Enemy with a cold, murderous gaze.
Yet Mr. Enemy did not flinch. He spoke calmly and steadily. "How can we know the truth unless we compare ourselves first?"
BOOM!
Huddi drove his fist straight through the ground and pulled out a massive spiked club nearly four meters long.
"Perfect — then let us compare!"
As soon as the words left his mouth, a wave of ferocious power erupted outward, pressing down heavily upon Mr. Enemy.
Behind him, Cyber and the others wore grim expressions, but still felt confident in their advantage — they outnumbered Huddi.
Yet if they needed to gang up on him just to win, he would never truly submit. Even if he joined, he would remain a dangerous time bomb waiting to explode.
Then Mr. Enemy spoke again. "When I said we should compare, I did not mean fighting in this way. If we truly clash, neither of us will stop until one falls — and to decide a winner, we would have to hold nothing back. Should anything go wrong, the loss would be too great."
Huddi rested the club over his shoulder. "Then what sort of contest do you propose?"
"Since our alliance exists to overthrow humanity, let us choose a nation. Whoever destroys it first shall prove their strength. No bloodbath between us, and we will know for certain who deserves to rule this world."
"Excellent! An idea that pleases me greatly."
"Then we have a deal?"
"Not so fast. First, catch this strike — let me see if you are even worthy of competing with me!"
Huddi's mood shifted in an instant. One moment he was cheerful, the next his face twisted with killing intent, and he swung his giant club straight at Mr. Enemy.
Even a clay figure has its limits. Provoked again and again, Mr. Enemy finally lost his temper. He gathered a massive surge of Cursed Energy and struck back with a single, powerful fist!
CRASH!
Fist and club collided with a deafening roar, sending arcs of black lightning crackling in every direction.
The ground beneath Mr. Enemy's feet split open, crumbled, and collapsed into a deep crater.
In a contest of raw physical strength, Mr. Enemy was completely outmatched.
When the dust settled, the entire village had been flattened — and Mr. Enemy was nowhere to be seen.
"Surely you didn't fall so easily? I held back quite a bit of power," Huddi muttered, hefting his club again.
From the depths of the crater, a figure rose shakily from the rubble. The blow had driven Mr. Enemy straight into the earth like a nail.
His entire right arm had been blown apart into misty blood, but it was already regenerating fully — though he could no longer maintain his earlier air of calm composure.
In their first exchange, he had suffered a heavy setback, but at least now he understood exactly how overwhelming Huddi's brute force was.
I must not let him get close again — keep my distance and destroy him with Cursed Techniques!
While he was thinking this over, Huddi spoke loudly and arrogantly. "Not bad — you managed to block my casual strike. I will admit you are worthy of competing with me."
Furious yet amused, Mr. Enemy smiled coldly. "Is that so? Then you try blocking this — and we shall see if you are worthy to stand against me!"
He crossed his arms, leaving a triangular gap between them, and aimed it directly at Huddi.
"HA HA HA! Well said! Come then — show me what you can do!"
"Watch closely — and pray you do not die right here!"
Annihilation Curse: Return to the Void!
In an instant, a blinding, translucent white beam of triangular shape blasted forth and struck Huddi head‑on.
To everyone's shock, Huddi had been so arrogant and overconfident that he did not even raise a defense — he simply let the attack hit him directly.
His body was incredibly tough, but even it could not withstand the power of Annihilation. His flesh began to dissolve and unravel.
Then came something even more unbelievable: no matter how severe the damage Mr. Enemy's curse inflicted, Huddi's wounds healed completely the very next moment!
This was certainly not Reverse Cursed Technique — Healing. The damage caused by Annihilation was irreversible on a fundamental level; ordinary healing could never repair it.
Whatever this ability was, it defied all logic.
