Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Prologue

Inside a dark cathedral.

In the cathedral's interior, illuminated solely by moonlight, a man confesses his sins to God.

That man is me.

"...I have harbored feelings for women I should never have coveted. Women far too grand... overflowing the meager vessel that is myself."

The purest woman.

The noblest woman.

The wisest woman.

The strongest woman.

The most superior woman.

"But... I am not the protagonist. And so, to vent these emotions bursting forth like a broken dam, I confess my sins."

I lower my hands, bringing my prayer to an end.

After finishing the brief prayer, a sense of relief washes over me, and the corners of my mouth lift naturally.

And until that moment, I had no idea.

"Is, me...?"

The purest heroine, the Saintess.

"...You're giving up on me?"

The noblest heroine, the Princess.

"...Is is mine. Who gave you permission to give up on me?"

The wisest heroine, the Mage.

"...Looks like I need to make you feel my heart, Is."

The strongest heroine, the Knight.

"Hmph, guess I need to show you the dragon's love properly?"

I never imagined the heroines were listening to my confession.
