Chapter 80 - Chapter 80: The Demon Clan's Shana and the Bei Group

At the same time, some small pieces of good news arrived.

First, the seven women who had been rescued finally took a long-awaited bath in the ship's bathroom and changed into new clothes.

The clothes were provided by The Girls. Because they all possessed a storage ring, they had plenty of clothing available, not just the small amount stored in their bedroom wardrobes; they could especially take out basic necessities.

These seven quickly changed into their new clothes.

They then ate a nutritious meal carefully prepared by Carmen, designed to quickly replenish their bodily nutrients and required substances.

After taking some medicine specially provided by Kaya, they had already recovered significantly and could at least move normally.

Since they had already agreed to Deya's request, these women were now part of their crew. However, with robots present, they did not need to perform any strenuous chores. Therefore, the first order Luna gave when seeing them again was simply to live normally on this ship.

After all, this ship would be replaced soon; its size was simply insufficient to carry the Pink Hat Pirates.

After some questioning, or rather, after some persuasion from Luna, the seven women were also willing to accept genetic modification and become Galatron Girls.

At the same time, Luna and The Girls learned the names of the seven women: Bella, Belinda, Beryl, Betty, Bev, Beckett, and Beta.

Upon hearing this, Luna and The Girls stared at each other, their heads filled with question marks, and then asked in confusion.

"Why are all your surnames 'Bei'?" Bella, the eldest of the seven, stepped forward and explained that they were all from the same village.

Furthermore, they were all around 17 years old, except for Bev and Beta, who were currently 16 and would turn 17 in two months.

Luna and The Girls expressed their understanding, but they also had to admit that those Human Traffickers were truly despicable. According to Bella, the Human Traffickers had pillaged their village, burning, killing, and looting everything, and only took them as slaves because they looked decent.

Luna immediately gave the order to temporarily focus their attention on Human Traffickers during the rest of their journey.

The Girls were furious upon hearing this and immediately agreed, promising that they would be especially ruthless when encountering the ships or fleets of Human Traffickers.

Since this matter was settled, Luna immediately allowed Bella and the others to form their own group, named the Bei Group, affiliated with the Pink Hat Pirates.

They temporarily settled in the storage room, waiting for Shiro to acquire sufficient materials and build the corresponding equipment.

They would then be cultivated into Galatron Girls. Bella and the others were very excited; after all, this was a chance to become stronger. Especially after what they had experienced, they absolutely refused to remain weak. With an opportunity to grow stronger right in front of them, they naturally would not give it up.

However, they had to wait and stay put for now.

The occurrence of this matter was also good news for Luna; her Galactron army would begin its cultivation starting with this small team.

Meanwhile, something else also happened.

The white-haired Oni girl, under Kaya's care, had fully recovered, just like Bella and the others before her. She had first taken medicine to stabilize her condition. At the same time, Luna completely believed she was an Oni.

Because after Kaya administered the medicine, the white-haired girl's physical recovery ability became apparent, surpassing that of normal humans, with her injuries healing at a visible rate.

Seeing that she was about to wake up, Kaya immediately felt flustered and called Luna over. Luna quickly arrived at the infirmary, and just after she entered, the white-haired girl on the bed woke up and opened her beautiful eyes.

She had awakened so suddenly, but this did not change the fact that the clothes she was wearing were smelly and ragged, her skin was covered in blood scabs, and she was still dirty all over, looking like a scarred ugly duckling that had just emerged from a mud pit.

"Where... where am I? Huh, why am I lying down? Wasn't I locked up?" The white-haired girl was dazed. She bent her legs and sat up, supporting herself on the medical bed with one hand while instinctively touching her head with the other, asking in confusion.

"This is my Pink Hat Pirates..." Luna began, speaking with a smile, and then immediately explained the entire sequence of events. The white-haired girl finally understood the cause of the situation.

She immediately thanked Luna and Kaya with deep gratitude.

"Thank you for saving me."

"It was no trouble at all. We also despise Human Traffickers; we kill every individual and every crew we encounter. By the way, what is your name?"

Luna continued to ask. She and Kaya had already introduced themselves earlier in the conversation.

"My name is Sana, and I am a wandering ronin." Sana introduced herself directly, stating her name and identity.

A ronin is essentially an unemployed wanderer. They have no fixed position or job and roam everywhere. They have various sources of income, enough to at least support themselves, and in terms of freedom, they are even freer than Pirates. Furthermore, they usually possess a certain level of strength.

"Are you an Oni?" Luna's question was clearly rhetorical, as the self-healing ability the girl had just displayed and the two horns on her head were enough to prove she was an Oni.

"Yes, I am." Sana personally admitted that she was an Oni.

She was very clever. She understood that when Luna asked, they had obviously already guessed her identity, and perhaps they had already noticed the two horns on her head while she was being treated.

There was nothing wrong with admitting it; after all, the Oni race was not some species that had to hide from the light or people.

Unlike the Lunarian race, which could truly be said to be on the verge of extinction.

Luna quickly inquired further about this matter and soon learned from Sana that the Oni race did exist in the Pirate World, but they generally did not have any race-specific territories and were scattered wanderers.

Their presence could be found throughout the entire sea, though they were very rarely seen normally because most Oni preferred to live in seclusion; only a small fraction of warlike Oni traveled around.

Sana was one of them, wandering around, earning her living expenses by robbing Pirates and doing good deeds, but unfortunately, a few days ago, she had fallen into the hands of despicable Human Traffickers.

"But speaking of which, are you really the Pink Hat Pirates? Are you Luna, the Captain of the Pink Hat Pirates who can easily defeat even Admiral Akainu?"

Sana suddenly asked, her eyes filled with curiosity and shock.

Luna smiled, took out their bounty posters, and handed them over. Sana took them, quickly compared them, and finally confirmed that she had indeed encountered the Pink Hat Pirates, who had recently become famous across the seas.

"Then, Captain Luna, I wonder if I can meet your requirements?" Sana said, feeling both excited and worried.

She genuinely hoped to join the Pink Hat Pirates, such a powerful and promising Pirate Crew. She had long since tired of her previous wandering life, especially after being ambushed and imprisoned by Human Traffickers this time. This made her urgently wish to find a strong backer, and she felt the Pink Hat Pirates were the perfect fit.

But at the same time, she was worried that she wouldn't catch their eye.

Kaya cast a curious glance at Luna, then looked at Sana, but truthfully, she really hoped Sana would join.

Not only did Sana seem like a good person with a pleasant personality, but based on the fact that she was willing to be captured and tricked to prevent Bella and the others from suffering physical torment or even death at the hands of the Human Traffickers.

The kind-hearted Kaya hoped Sana would join, but it depended on Sana's own ability and what Luna, as Captain, thought.

"How old are you?" Luna asked.

She needed to confirm some basic information first, even though she already had the idea of inviting the other party onto the ship as a crewmate.

However, the established rules could not be broken: same age, and definitely a specialized professional ability user, and as for beauty...

She believed that Sana's appearance, currently hidden beneath dirt and blood scabs, would certainly reveal a beautiful woman once she was cleaned up and changed into nice clothes.

Now it was time to ask. First, age.

"Seventeen," Sana quickly replied. Luna and Kaya were startled. They exchanged glances; she was actually the same age as them.

"What about your strength? Do you have any specialties?" Luna asked again.

"I specialize in physical techniques, proficient in punching and claw attacks. In terms of strength, I can barely handle a Pirate with a bounty over 100 million. It's a shame, but I only recently entered the Paradise, and I haven't learned Haki yet."

Sana revealed a lot of information this time. Her strength and abilities were only average. While they might be decent in some other places, within the Pink Hat Pirates and further into this sea, they were somewhat underwhelming.

It was slightly disappointing, especially since she didn't even know Haki, which was the most crucial power for becoming a strong person in the Pirate World.

However, it was not difficult to tell that Sana knew about Haki, and she didn't seem to belong here, at least not born in the Paradise, the first half of the Grand Line; she sounded like she was from one of the Four Seas.

Kaya immediately asked, and Sana told them that she was from the West Blue and had truly just arrived here recently.

"It sounds like you meet my requirements, but I still want to ask one last question: Do you have any specialized profession, something you are particularly skilled at?" Luna asked again.

This question clearly meant that Luna wanted to confirm if Sana was a specialized professional.
