Chapter 1 - CHAPTER -1

In a hospital room in the US, I was sitting in the patient's chair, nervously rolling a pen back and forth on the table while waiting for my health reports. Just then, Dr. Jinvyn walked in, looking dull and weary. He adjusted his spectacles, sat in his chair, and looked at me with a heavy, silent sadness.

Seeing the grief in his eyes, I immediately understood my condition. "How many more days I have left to live on this earth Doctor?" I asked.

He took off his glasses, wiped his tears coming from his eyes with a handkerchief, and said, "I'm sorry, Miss Jin Levina. These reports show you only have about three months left. Look here." He showed me an X-ray of my brain scan, confirming I had a brain tumor.

I gave him a small, brave smile. "It's okay, Doctor. After all, human life isn't meant to last forever." I took the medical prescription that he offered and walked out of the room.

As I was picking up my medicine at the pharmacy, I saw nurses rushing several patients in critical condition toward the general ward on stretchers. My heart sank for them. As I started to leave, a little boy chasing a ball ran right into me. I slipped and began to fall backward.

Suddenly, I felt a firm hand catched me on my waist, preventing me from hitting the ground. I kept my eyes shut tight.

"What's this? Did you want this moment to be your final breath?" a man's voice whispered.

I opened my eyes to see a strikingly a beautiful handsome man. He had jet-black hair, piercing blue eyes, a sharp nose, and a smile that sparkled like a star. He looked to be about 23 years old, standing tall at around 6'5" inches wearing a stylish brown and black colour suit .

Blinking in surprise, I asked, "How did you know that I am going to leaving this world forever ?"

He simply gave me a small smile, helped me stand up straight, and walked away with another mysterious smile that puts me in confusion.
