Chapter 30 - Chapter 8: The Fight Ends

The ruined town trembled under the weight of destruction.

Dust floated in the air. Buildings leaned at unnatural angles. The ground was cracked and soaked in water and splintered roots.

Sai stood still for a brief second, tilting his head slightly.

"Huh? Ending the fight already?" he said, stretching his neck lazily. "I was just starting to have fun."

Across from him, Fura stood breathing heavily. Her chest rose and fell sharply. Strands of her hair clung to her face.

"No…" she muttered. "I don't want to fight anymore."

Sai blinked.

Then his expression slowly twisted into boredom.

He slouched forward slightly, arms hanging loose, looking almost like a predator waiting for prey to entertain him.

"Uhh?? Don't hesitate, Grandma Queen," Sai mocked. "You're not hot enough to glaze for me."

Fura froze.

Then her face turned red.

Her eyes sharpened dangerously.

"Youuu!!"

She dashed forward with explosive speed.

"I am young enough, you baka! I've maintained my model figure!"

Her fists tightened. The ground beneath Sai ruptured—

A massive spiked root shot upward like a spear.

Sai casually sidestepped.

"Haha! It really works. Every woman has this weakness."

He leapt into the air and swung a powerful kick toward her face.

Fura caught his leg mid-air.

Without hesitation, she twisted and slammed him through the side of a nearby building.

Concrete exploded.

Dust engulfed the street.

Fura raised her hand slowly, a smile forming.

"Take this…"

The ground erupted.

Hundreds of spiked roots burst upward like a forest of blades.

Inside the collapsing building, Sai's figure flickered—

He dashed randomly through floors, walls, ceilings—moving unpredictably.

Every root missed.

In the next instant—

He burst out of the rubble.

Snap.

Water ripped open space itself.

Giant water beams fired toward Fura.

She moved fluidly, dodging each beam. Some she deflected using hardened roots.

Suddenly—

Sai vanished.

He reappeared right in front of her.

Before she could react—

His fingers gently lifted her chin.

For a split second—

Fura froze.

Her cheeks flushed deeper.

Shock.

But it was calculated.

Sai's leg drove brutally into her abdomen.

The impact shook the street.

He dashed behind her instantly, grabbed her arm, and slammed her into the ground.

Crack.

The earth shattered.

Fura raised her hand desperately.

Spiked roots launched toward Sai.

He twisted through them mid-air, teleporting—

And drove a heavy kick into her face.

She crashed through two buildings before stopping.

Sai ripped a nearby car from the ground and hurled it at her.

Fura lifted her hand—

The car was sliced clean in half.

She dashed forward through the falling debris.

Sai stomped his foot.

Water from nearby lakes rose slowly into the sky, forming massive floating orbs.

He smirked.

"Now take this."

Snap.

The orbs launched like meteors.

Fura raised both hands. Roots shot upward and pierced the water orbs, splitting them apart.

She leapt through the shredded remains and slammed a kick toward Sai's head.

He caught her leg.

Slammed her down.

Behind him—

Doors of water opened in the air.

From them, water spears rained down like divine punishment.

Fura rolled, barely avoiding death.

She countered with a precise root.

It shot forward—

And pierced clean through Sai's palm.

Blood dripped.

Sai looked at it.

Then smiled.

"Nice shot."

Fura didn't stop.

This time the roots glowed faintly green.

Poison.

They struck again and again.

Sai's injured arm began glowing blue.

Suddenly—

Boom.

The arm exploded into mist—

Then reformed instantly.

He appeared above her.

Triple kick.

Perfect.

Her abdomen absorbed all three hits.

The shockwave blasted her across the town—

She crashed into the side of a mountain.

The mountain trembled.

Sai snapped.

Water scythes formed in the sky.

They shot forward.

The mountain was sliced cleanly in half.

But Fura wrapped herself in layered roots at the last moment, reducing the impact.

The roots shattered.

She rose slowly.

Breathing heavy.

Blood trickled down her lip.

"That's enough…" she whispered. "I can't lose to you."

She lifted one finger.

The ground trembled.

Monsters began rising from beneath the earth—wooden beasts, root-armored creatures, twisted vine entities.

"Now counter this."

Sai cracked his neck slowly.

Smirked.

"Well… fight more. I might lose."

Snap.

"Barrierless Dimension — Infinite Chaos."

Silence.

The town stopped.

A falling building froze mid-collapse.

Dust particles halted in air.

Water droplets stopped.

Time itself paused.

Water doors opened everywhere — in the sky, underground, across walls, surrounding the entire battlefield like a godly domain.

Even Fura.

Even the monsters.

Frozen.

Sai moved freely.

He jumped once.

Twice.

Then—

Dash.

His eyes glowed.

Each water door began forming massive energy cores.

Sai moved at impossible speed.

Through doors.

Across rooftops.

Slashing with water blades.

Kicking.

Piercing.

Every monster exploded one by one.

Roots severed themselves.

He ran across the entire frozen town, eliminating every summoned creature.

When it was done—

He landed softly.

Snap.

"Dimension Break."

Time resumed.

Instantly—

All monsters disintegrated.

The water doors fired massive beams simultaneously toward Fura.

She summoned her strongest root barrier.

But this time—

It cracked.

Shattered.

The beam engulfed her.

Just before it could fully consume her—

Sai snapped.

The beams stopped.

Fura fell from the air.

Unconscious.

Silence returned to the ruined town.

Sai walked slowly toward her.

He lifted her gently over his shoulder.

He exhaled.

"You're defeated."

He looked at the destroyed battlefield.

"And the situation is now under control."
