Chapter 5 - Same room

The bed was warm, and the wall was like calm sea waves. It was a beautiful morning.

Huh?

A bed? What place is this? Isn't this the same hotel as yesterday?

Damn it, am I dreaming? I tried to wake myself from this cursed dream, but it was no use.I'm back in the same damned room.

Michael!!!!

Again.

But I wasn't as nervous as yesterday.

I expected something unusual when I woke up.

Let's start the search.

I tiptoed and searched carefully. There was nothing.

Not in the room. Then came the decisive moment. I opened the bathroom door. There was nothing.

Then a phone rang from under the bed.

Good morning, Old friend.

Michael.

Yes.

Why am I here? I was at home.

Oh, you're going to do something for me.

Damn it. I'm going home.

Oh, could you open the closet door?

I felt nervous, and my breath came in gasps. He'd done it. There'd been a crime here.

I don't want to.

How will you get out of here if I don't guide you, buddy?

Damn you. Why do you have to go this far?

I didn't know what was behind the door, but disaster was inevitable.

The door opened slowly.

It was a bag. I opened it slowly, breathing heavily.

It was a pile of money with some drops of blood on it. Bring the bag.

What's this, Michael?

It's your second victim? Did you forget?

The second victim!!!!

Damn it.

But I didn't move from my spot. I was in bed. How could he pin a crime on me?

Again? Why you? You told me I was paying you back. Why do I have to pay you again?

The first time was payment, but the second time is work.

Damn you! I don't want any work from you, you bastard!

And I started screaming.

All this because I did something small for you years ago?

Shut up, you bastard, before I...

What more are you going to do to me? Do you want to kill me?

No... Look what I sent you. I checked the phone and there was a picture of my mom leaving the house.

No, Michael took revenge on me, not her.

It was me who did everything.

It was me who told the teacher.

He laughed.

Do you think everything that's happening is because of something that happened when we were kids?

Damn it, you're overthinking things now. You take the money and go home.

When you arrive, I thought Michael will be inside.

But instead, there's a dwarf.

The boss said to take the bag and wait for his next instructions.

I screamed, "Damn him!"

"Yes, I'll tell him that, but for now, you'll wait for him to arrive."

The dwarf left. I tried to follow him, but it was no use.

I have to get out of this house.

The phone rang. It was like it could read my mind.

A message.

"Don't you dare."

I felt scared. The bastard was watching me.

Where is it?

Is it a camera?

I searched.

And my phone rang again.

Even if I find it, leave it.

That bastard was playing me.

I unlocked the phone to see what was on it. There was no password.

I unlocked the phone. I looked for any clues.

Under the Photos & Videos app:

Michael and his aunt during childhood.

Yes, that innocent face. That's Michael.

Scattered photos from different periods before middle school.

And those were pictures of him from afar over the years.

There were some locked files, but I was able to open them easily.

Damn it, I didn't want to open it, but my curiosity was stronger than my will.

But I wish I hadn't opened it.
