Chapter 21 - What happened (2)

I thought it would be complicated.

I thought it would be exciting.

A child's revenge on his abusers.

But I didn't think the scale of the revenge would be this great.

Did he know?

Michael, did you know? I asked him.

No... but it's okay.

Huh? Can you?

He looked at me and smiled.

Damn, is he really that strong?

Michael asked the official if there was anything else he wanted to say, promising a reward if the information was useful.

He swore he knew nothing.

Michael raised his gun again and shot the official in the head.

That's his way.

That's his revenge.

Something he had to take matters into his own hands.

Michael, did you know there was someone high up? I asked.

Yeah, but I didn't know who.

So you walked right into it.

Clever.

Of course, I'm the CEO.

Oh.

His men looked at me admiringly.

Look how you can laugh in this situation, with all this blood.

Michael signaled everyone to start cleaning up.

He and I left.

He said, "Home."

He gave me the car keys.

We parked the car, and I asked him, "Is that all we're going to do today?"

"Of course not," he said.

"Then why are we going home?"

"To take a shower."

I looked at him and We were covered in blood.

He said, "When I saw you getting out of the car with the golf club, I thought, 'What's this idiot doing?'"

"You can use it pretty well."

"Yeah... I like golf."

"But there weren't any pictures of you playing golf."

"Pictures?"

"I sent men to spy on you, and there aren't any pictures of you playing golf."

"Are you admitting you've been spying on me?"

"I don't think I've hidden it from the start."

Damn it, he was right.

We got home and showered.

I asked him if he wanted to eat.

He agreed, so I cooked.

And then coffee.

And we went out again.

I asked him where we were going.

"The company," he said.

"Which company?" I asked.

"Your company."

"Why?"

"I want to bring someone from there."

"Who?"

"You'll find out when we get there."

We arrived at the company.

He called and told her to get out.

Suddenly, finance manager opened the car door.

She gave Michael a file.

I asked her why she was greeting Michael and not me.

Michael handed me the file.

And said, "Get out."

The finance manager said goodbye.

I asked him where.

He pointed to the GPS and said, "There."

"What's there?"

"You'll find out when we get there."

Damn, you're the only one who knows that line.

"Move."

"Yes."
