Chapter 24 - 24: Tang San's Plan

God Realm, Sea God Temple. The Sea God, Tang San, sat upon his Divine Throne, the flowing radiance of his divine force forming a hazy yet majestic halo around him. His eyes were slightly closed, yet his Divine Sense seemed to envelop the boundless territory of the God Realm. A barely perceptible look of contemplation was etched between his brows.

"San Ge!" A soft call broke the temple's tranquility. A graceful figure seemed to lightly leap out of the light and shadow. Xiao Wu affectionately sat on Tang San's lap, her arms wrapped around his waist, resting her small head against his firm chest.

The solemnity on Tang San's face instantly melted, replaced by a doting, helpless smile. His fingers gently combed through her soft, long hair. "You, after so many years, are still as fond of acting spoiled as before. Now I am the god realm enforcer, leading the God Realm Committee. If other Divinities were to see me like this, wouldn't my authority be completely lost?"

Hearing this, Xiao Wu not only didn't let go but squeezed even closer into his embrace, pouting. "Hmph, I don't care. You are a God King, you are the god realm enforcer, but first and foremost, you are my husband, you are my San Ge!"

Tang San shook his head helplessly, then reached out and pulled Xiao Wu even tighter into his arms. After a moment of tenderness, Xiao Wu rose slightly, her gaze falling upon the trace of worry between Tang San's brows that seemed to never dissipate. She reached out a finger and gently pressed it to his forehead, trying to smooth away the invisible furrow.

"San Ge, don't always be so tired." Xiao Wu's voice held a hint of heartache. "The God Realm doesn't only have one God King like you. Why must you carry all the burdens on your own shoulders? The time we spend together... has become less."

Tang San sighed lightly. "The two God Kings of Goodness and Evil, under the guise of a wager, long ago abandoned their responsibilities and went to the Lower Realm to enjoy themselves. The God of Destruction... his ideology is too extreme and radical, and the Goddess of Life has always disliked mundane affairs. Now, among the God Realm Committee, I am the only one who can preside over the overall situation, coordinate all parties, and maintain order and balance."

Hearing this, Xiao Wu snorted indignantly. "They are too irresponsible! Because you are a newcomer, they dumped all the most complicated burdens on you, making it difficult for us, husband and wife, to even have a proper conversation."

Tang San's gaze pierced beyond the temple, through layers of cloud sea and divine light. His voice carried a hint of complexity. "The God Realm Enforcer, seemingly high above, controlling the fate of all living beings, yet the weight of this responsibility is not something everyone is willing to bear."

He paused, a rare sigh of emotion escaping his lips. "Sometimes I wonder, if I had stayed on the Douluo Continent for a few more days back then, perhaps... I could have made more arrangements. Now, one day in the God Realm is a year in the Lower Realm. With the drastic collision of the continental plates 4,000 years ago, the Tang Sect, which I personally founded, has now... declined."

Xiao Wu gently comforted him. "San Ge, this is also the choice of the era, not your fault."

Tang San nodded, his expression softening slightly. "Indeed, the shifting continental plates and the changing civilizations also signify that the Lower Realm is constantly evolving and being reshaped." Then, his tone shifted, taking on a hint of lightness. "But speaking of interesting things, I recently observed the Lower Realm and found that on the Douluo Continent, a new star is rising. And his destiny seems to be intricately linked with my Tang Sect. I tried to use divine force to see his future, but I was blocked by layers of dense mists of fate. This child's destiny is extraordinary. I hope he can truly make the Tang Sect great again."

Xiao Wu's eyes lit up, and she smiled. "Even you can't see through him, so he must truly be an amazing junior!" She then gracefully left Tang San's lap, smiling charmingly. "Alright, you, my busy God King, have many affairs to attend to. I won't waste your precious time here."

Before her words finished, her figure had already vanished like a phantom in the temple, leaving only a faint lingering fragrance. And not far away, behind a massive Sea God Pillar, a small figure was quietly hiding, listening to her parents' conversation word for word. She was Tang San and Xiao Wu's beloved daughter, Tang Wutong! Her bright, intelligent eyes were wide open now, the content of her parents' conversation replaying in her mind.

"It sounds like the Douluo Continent is particularly interesting!" A strong sense of curiosity and longing leaped in her heart, and she then tiptoed away from the temple.

Tang San, who was seated on his Divine Throne, subtly turned his head the moment she disappeared, his gaze seemingly inadvertently sweeping over the direction where his daughter had been hiding. His heart stirred, and an idea instantly surged into his mind, lingering for a long time. A flicker of struggle and hesitation crossed Tang San's eyes, but it lasted only an instant before turning into firm resolve!

The divine force around him, previously as still as the sea, suddenly surged. The next moment, an extremely condensed, brilliant golden light pillar shot out from his fingertip, directly entering the God Realm Central Hub in the center of the temple!

"Child of Destiny, eh..." Tang San murmured, his Divine Thought following the passage established by the God Realm Central Hub, probing towards the Douluo Continent in the Lower Realm. "Let me see, how far have you... grown now!"

Even as a God King, wielding the God Realm Central Hub and possessing the authority to connect all realms, his vision of this special "new star" on the Douluo Continent was still like watching a fire through thick gauze, difficult to see clearly. The mist enveloping its destiny was unusually thick, as if some extraordinary power was concealing it.

However, with the full infusion of divine force and Divine Thought this time, the information stream he detected was much clearer than before. Nevertheless, Tang San's brows furrowed slightly. Because he acutely noticed that this new star's current destiny trajectory had undergone a significant change compared to his last investigation!

"Could my previous investigation have been mistaken? Or... has he encountered some 'extraordinary fortune' during this time, enough to rewrite his destiny?" The thought flashed through Tang San's mind, but he didn't delve into the source of this abnormal change. The Lower Realm inherently held infinite variables; perhaps he simply hadn't grasped the full picture before.

The corner of Tang San's mouth curved into an intrigued smile. He didn't overthink it, instead chuckling. "Eight years old and already a Spirit Grandmaster? That's much faster than the last predicted growth rate... Truly worthy of being a Child of Destiny."

Divine light shone brightly in Tang San's eyes. These changes in the other party had indeed piqued his interest. Since the other party had already been "favored" by him, he would certainly become a catalyst for the Tang Sect's resurgence in the future. Given that, the faster he grew, the better!

"It seems..." Tang San withdrew his probing Divine Thought and muttered to himself, "my original plan will also need some corresponding adjustments."
