On the desolate plains, countless crackling green electric arcs continuously shot toward Alexei in the distance.
However, in the next moment, those attacks were blocked by countless shielded Protoss warriors. They slowly emerged from their pillars of light, gazing at the massive Necron force ahead. The Zerg were no less eager—endless swarms poured out from gigantic underground maws, and purple creep began spreading toward the horizon.
As green disintegration beams lit up once more in the distance, the golden and purple ocean beside Alexei surged toward the Necrons.
His gaze fell upon the Tomb Command Barge hovering in midair. A tall figure stood upon it. Their eyes seemed to meet. Alexei chuckled softly and gave a slight bow.
He hadn't expected the Dynasty Lord to personally come to the front line.
The figure slowly raised its scepter and pointed it at Alexei.
"Destroy them!"
The ground began to tremble. It felt as if some enormous creatures were writhing beneath everyone's feet. Suddenly, several massive mechanical centipedes burst from the earth in the center of the battlefield. The Tomb Stalkers tore apart Protoss units with their monomolecular claws.
Several Roaches clung to their bodies, their claws digging in deeply as corrosive acid ate away at the living metal. Immortals began charging their antimatter cannons. In the next second, overwhelming energy shattered the massive construct into fragments.
At this moment, the entire battlefield descended into chaos. In the air, on the ground, and underground, battles erupted everywhere.
Mutalisks and Corruptors fought fiercely against large numbers of Tomb Blades. Phoenix fighters continuously plunged into the battlefield from outside the atmosphere, only to be intercepted by Necron Doom Scythes.
In the distance, more Necrons joined the battle via Ghost Arks. Several floating obelisks slammed heavily into the ground, and Destroyers streamed out through teleportation portals within these blackstone structures.
Immortals and Stalkers exchanged heavy fire with Necron armored vehicles. When it came to mastery of energy weapons, the Protoss were no less proficient.
Deep underground, countless burrowing Zerg organisms tangled with Necron constructs. This battlefield belonged to them alone.
Suddenly, several gigantic beings of pure energy appeared. Their towering forms, over ten meters tall, radiated powerful psionic energy. They advanced toward the Dynasty Lord, crushing everything in their path with thick psionic beams.
Only when numerous floating obelisks tore their bodies apart did they finally fall. At the moment their energy forms exploded, massive singularities appeared, indiscriminately shredding all nearby matter.
In the next moment, several more Archons merged beside Alexei. Now, the combined Zerg–Protoss forces firmly pinned these terrifying enemies in front of the human defensive lines.
Inside the human defenses, the third wave of evacuation was nearing completion. Members of the Emperor's Scythe Chapter were among them.
In midair, Torquill stood inside a medical transport, gazing at the horrific battlefield. Gold, purple, and silver-gray intertwined, while terrifying energies erupted constantly.
He did not know where these aliens had come from, nor why they were standing in front of humanity. The warriors of the Emperor's Scythe had already prepared for a final stand. Then, with his extraordinary vision, Torquill seemed to spot a familiar figure among them.
It was the governor who had disappeared before the evacuation.
Had he left early? Or…
"Am I mistaken…?"
Torquill silently watched Alexei, standing at the center of countless alien forces. At this moment, the man seemed to be the supreme commander of the battlefield. Under his orders, endless alien troops charged madly at the Necron positions.
Just then, dozens of magnificent blackstone structures suddenly appeared in the sky behind the Necrons. Their shadows were about to envelop the entire battlefield. All humans in the air looked at them with fear.
Alexei raised his head to watch the slowly floating obelisks. A massive gravitational pulse swept across the field. Large numbers of Zerg air units crashed to the ground. Several Phoenix fighters that failed to evade in time were struck by Tesla spheres and spiraled down in flames.
Gauss annihilation beams thicker than tanks began sweeping across the battlefield. Countless Protoss constructs and Zerg organisms were vaporized at the molecular level. From the Eternity Gate, endless Necron warriors fell like rain.
"So you're going all-in already?" Alexei thought. These were the Necrons' ultimate trump cards, and they were being deployed this early. Clearly, the Lord no longer wanted a prolonged battle.
"Since that's the case…"
He glanced at the last remaining energy in his control crystal.
"Everyone should be almost evacuated… Let me see the Protoss' ultimate ground-killing weapon."
In the next instant, under the stunned gazes of all living beings, three terrifying white pillars of light descended upon the plains behind Alexei. When the light faded, three unimaginably巨大 alien constructs appeared.
Looking at the towering golden war machines, Torquill —the battle-hardened Astartes—showed shock on his face for the first time.
"By the Emperor… what is that?!" Techmarine Byron asked in a trembling voice. He had never seen a ground unit of such size. Not even the Emperor-class Titans of Mars were so massive.
"I… I don't know…" Brand murmured. The only thing he knew was that they had been summoned by his master, Alexei.
They were gigantic machines supported by four slender mechanical legs. Their main bodies, covered in heavy golden alloy armor, mounted enormous thermal lances on both sides. Each was hundreds of meters tall, casting colossal shadows over the battlefield.
Alexei nodded in satisfaction. He spread his arms wide and looked toward the Dynasty Lord.
"Come… destroy this world!"
The Necrons reacted instantly upon seeing their forms. Countless attacks poured out. Yet the Colossi's shields—comparable to those of capital warships—blocked everything.
In the next moment, thermal beams capable of melting all matter surged forth.
Wherever the eye could see, life was being erased.
