Ignotus sat on a mat.
His legs were crossed, his back was straight, and his eyes were closed.
He looked peaceful, or at least he was trying to be.
A faint hum surrounded him, his Divinity swirling…
Until it suddenly fizzled out with a weak pop.
He exhaled through his nose.
"...still nothing."
Despite becoming a Priest, despite meeting all the damned requirements, he still couldn't use Synaxis, the signature ability of Priests, the whole point of this damned class.
Every time he called for it… nothing.
"Figures."
Opening one eye, he looked at his hand.
It didn't change in appearance even a tiny bit.
He'd gone over this a dozen times already.
Ignotus had the Will.
He had the Rune resonance.
He had the Soul Fragments and the "knowing of himself" part.
So why not Synaxis?
Maybe his Soul wasn't calibrated to his regression yet.
Maybe his link with Eris was messing with the transformation.
Maybe Synaxis didn't like that his entire Divinity flow was luck-based.
