Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 The Beginning of Fate

Chapter 1 — The Beginning of Fate

Inside a quiet house, the cry of a newborn pierced the air.

A baby had just been born.

The child wailed loudly as a man gently picked him up, holding him close. Tears streamed down the mother's face—not from pain, but from joy. She smiled weakly, her chest rising as she caught her breath.

The man looked at her and asked softly,

"What is her name?"

The mother wiped her tears and smiled.

"Her name is… Sayuki."

The room filled with warmth and happiness. The father held his daughter carefully, his voice trembling.

"My daughter… the hero."

He paused, surprised.

"But she's a girl. This is new. All heroes before her were men."

The mother only smiled.

"She is the reincarnation of the First God," she whispered.

"Yasushi Sakurano — the God of Creation."

Elsewhere in the World

On the opposite side of the world, a tall man with blond hair and crimson eyes stood on a balcony. He smiled faintly and looked up at the sky.

"So… it has finally begun."

Behind him stood a woman dressed like a witch.

"Is something wrong, boss?"

The blond man rested his head on his hand and smiled.

"Nothing at all."

This was the land ruled by the Fourth God — the God of War.

In another country, a place where only women lived, laughter filled the streets. Girls chatted, ate, and relaxed together. Among them, a pink-haired woman sat quietly.

She looked up and smiled.

"It's time."

This land was ruled by the Third God — the God of Love.

Far away, inside a massive arena, people wielded fire, water, earth, and air. A small girl with multicolored hair laughed—then suddenly stopped.

She looked up.

Beside her stood a man in a suit.

"Is something wrong?"

"…It's started," she said softly.

The man frowned.

"What started?"

"The God of Creation has been reborn."

This country was ruled by the Fifth God — the God of Multiple Elements.

In a distant land where people had animal ears and tails, Demi-humans lived freely. A white-haired woman with nine tails sighed as her ears twitched.

"So it has begun…"

This land belonged to the Sixth God — the God of Demi-Humans.

In a dark, empty land, a girl with white hair sat alone, her face hidden in shadow. She smiled quietly.

This was the domain of the Seventh God — the God of Punishment.

Another Choice of Fate

A woman wearing a long coat stepped through a glowing portal. She entered a world where powers did not exist.

She walked to a small white house, gently placed her baby down, and whispered:

"One day, you'll have to fight… to protect someone."

Her voice shook.

"I hope you can forgive me. I wish I could have raised you myself… but now you're forced into a battle you never asked for."

She kissed the baby's forehead, opened the portal again, and vanished.

Moments later, a man opened the door and froze.

"…A baby?"

He picked the crying child up and noticed a name stitched on the shirt.

Kazuki Akiyama.

The man smiled softly and called his family.

And so, fate changed.

Kazuki's Story Begins

This is the story of how I, Kazuki Akiyama, changed my fate.

Morning arrived. Birds chirped. Dogs barked. People walked the streets.

Inside an apartment, Kazuki slept peacefully. A picture of Goku hung on his wall, and a drawing of Sasuke lay on his desk.

The door slowly opened.

A blonde girl tiptoed inside, smiling mischievously. She gently placed an egg in Kazuki's hand, tied a string to it, and dangled it over his face.

Kazuki twitched.

Then—crack!

The egg smashed against his forehead.

"WHAT—?!" Kazuki shouted.

The girl burst out laughing.

"Good morning!"

"YOU COULD'VE JUST SHAKEN ME AWAKE!"

"That wouldn't be fun."

Kazuki sighed.

"You're the worst."

She stuck out her tongue.

"Oh, by the way—you're gonna be late. First day of school."

"…WHAT?!"

Aokami Scholastic Academy

Kazuki sprinted through the city.

The world had changed in 2021. People awakened strange powers to fight demons that fell from the sky. The government created schools to train them.

Kazuki ran—then froze.

An old woman crossed the road.

A truck sped toward her.

"HEY—!"

Kazuki dashed forward and pushed her away.

BOOM!

He was sent flying.

Silence.

Everyone stared.

"…He's dead."

Kazuki stood up, brushing off his clothes.

"…Ow."

The old woman stared.

"You're alive?!"

Someone noticed his uniform.

"Aokami Scholastic Academy… Class D."

Black uniform.

The weakest class.

"Tch. Figures," Kazuki muttered.

The old woman grabbed his arm.

"But aren't you hurt?"

Kazuki scratched his head.

"Nah. My ability is… I'm immortal."

Her jaw dropped.

"…Amazing."

"…Is it?"

Class D

Kazuki barely made it through the school gate.

He opened the classroom door—

A FIREBALL BLASTED PAST HIS FACE.

"What the—?!"

Inside, chaos.

A red-haired boy stood with his hand raised.

"I'm the strongest in the class!"

A black-haired girl stood calmly, her pen transforming into a sword glowing blue.

She deflected the fireball.

The teacher sighed.

"…You're late."

Kazuki slowly took his seat—right next to the girl.

Why her… she's scary…

Seven Gods

The lesson began.

"The Seven Gods," the teacher said.

Kazuki listened quietly.

God of Creation.

God of Destruction.

Love.

War.

Multiple Elements.

Demi-Humans.

Punishment.

Whispers spread.

"The Yoshida family has a child… reincarnation of the God of Creation."

Kazuki looked at the girl beside him.

"…Wait."

Collision of Fate

Later, Kazuki followed her by accident.

She stopped.

"Why are you following me?"

"I—uh—I'm joining a club!"

Why did I say that?!

She stared at him.

"…Then join mine."

Before he could refuse—

"You're my member now."

"NO—!"

And So It Begins

Kazuki was dragged into a club he never wanted.

By Sayuki Yoshida.

The reincarnation of the God of Creation.

What she didn't know—

Kazuki was the reincarnation of the God of Destruction.

And neither of them knew the truth.

Yet.

Next time on Kazuki
