chapter 4 – drifting conversations
time passed quietly in the private room.
the music remained soft, and the table was now covered with empty bottles.

mo qing was almost drunk now. her cheeks were flushed, and her movements were slower than before. her usual cold aura had softened.
li wei wasn't in great condition either. his head felt heavy, but he was still slightly more conscious than her. the heavenly yang physique was still merging with him, slowly strengthening his body and resisting the alcohol.
they continued chatting.
the topic slowly shifted from casual things to personal life.
"what do you usually do in your free time?" mo qing asked lazily.

"after visiting her today… i didn't want to go home alone," she continued softly. "so i came to drink."
she gave a faint smile. "i didn't expect the waiter to stay."
li wei didn't interrupt.
