Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Really Not!

After speaking, Reze suddenly seemed to think of something, squinting her eyes and pointing at her slightly soot-stained white tank top and shorts: "And... you only bought yourself this pile of black, tattered rags, what about me?"

"I'm still wearing this! Do you want me to wear the same outfit for the rest of my life?"

"But..." Su Modie looked troubled, scratching her head somewhat awkwardly, "I don't know your measurements."

"Then measure them." Reze said matter-of-factly, as if she had suddenly thought of something, a glint of mischief flashing in her emerald green eyes.

The corner of her mouth lifted slightly, and as if by magic, she pulled out a soft measuring tape from nowhere.

Holding the measuring tape, Reze stepped closer to Su Modie, her voice becoming soft and seductive: "If you don't know... then measure, and you'll find out, won't you?"

"Huh?" Su Modie instinctively took a step back, "Measure?"

"Yes." Reze walked up to Su Modie, placed one end of the measuring tape in her hand, then spread her arms and puffed out her chest, posing as if ready to be taken: "As the main body, you're responsible for my body."

"Come on, make sure to measure accurately, and tightly, or if the clothes don't fit when you buy them, wouldn't that be a waste of money?"

"You... can't you measure yourself?" Su Modie felt the measuring tape in her hand was like a hot potato.

"No, I can't measure accurately myself." Reze blinked innocently, "Besides, this is also to increase the synergy between our two bodies."

No choice.

Su Modie swallowed hard, trembling as she held the measuring tape and approached Reze.

Even though she clearly knew that the person in front of her was herself, her own avatar.

But when her fingers touched Reze's warm, delicate skin, the sensation instantly made her scalp tingle. What was even worse was that, due to sensory sharing—

She could not only feel the sensation of "hand touching skin," but also simultaneously feel the sensation of "being touched by a hand."

Double the sensation, double the shame.

"Mmm... here... what's the measurement?" Su Modie's voice was trembling.

"Don't be nervous, Modie-chan."

Reze smirked mischievously, deliberately leaning close to Su Modie's ear to whisper, "Your palm... seems to be sweating, huh?"

"You... shut up! Don't make weird noises!" Su Modie's face flushed red, fumbling as she measured with the tape on her body.

"Raise your arms! Turn around!"

"Yes, ma'am~"

...The camera slowly zoomed out, passing through the floor-to-ceiling window, arriving at the quiet streets of Queens.

The sun was setting, casting golden twilight on the streets, everything appearing so peaceful and beautiful.

However, in the newly rented apartment, this dispute lasted a full half hour.

Inside the room.

Both Su Modie and Reze were slumped on the sofa without any grace.

Their clothes slightly disheveled, faces flushed red, panting heavily, with fine beads of sweat on their foreheads.

Anyone who didn't know better would think they had just had an intense wrestling match.

Su Modie held a small notebook in her hand, with a few numbers scribbled messily on it.

Her hand was still trembling slightly, her gaze somewhat dazed.

"I'll never listen to you again..."

Su Modie covered her face in frustration, letting out a groan: "It was just measuring three sizes... why did it become so complicated!"

"Is this the side effect of double senses? So embarrassing!"

Beside her, Reze, though also panting, wore a satisfied smile on her face, like a cat that had successfully stolen some fish.

"We have the data now, hurry up and buy."

Reze extended her foot, already having removed her black knee-high socks, and gently nudged Su Modie's calf:

"I want a white dress, and... black lace pajamas."

Su Modie sighed, resignedly getting up to go shopping.

This "painful yet pleasurable" dual-body life was just the beginning.

Hopefully, the next avatar won't be so troublesome... S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters, Intelligence Analysis Room.

On the huge holographic screen, an extremely blurry surveillance video was playing repeatedly.

The video came from a remote alley in Hells Kitchen, with many noise artifacts and almost no visible details due to the dim lighting.

"This is the footage after sixteen rounds of technical restoration."

Agent Hill held a folder, reporting expressionlessly to Nick Fury, who sat in the main seat: "Last night at 23:25, an extremely severe explosion occurred in Hells Kitchen."

"Three local gang members died on the spot, their bodies severely charred, almost unrecognizable."

Fury's single eye stared intently at the screen.

In the footage, although the specific figures were unclear, shortly after the explosion at the alley entrance, a clear burst of flames could be seen shooting into the sky.

That wasn't a conventional bomb detonation.

It was more like something... or someone, using the explosive recoil to instantly fly into the air.

"A moving bomb?" Fury frowned, reminding him of an old acquaintance... no, two.

"A superhuman?"

"Very likely. Thermal imaging shows the explosion center temperature instantly exceeded two thousand degrees, but that's not the main point." Agent Hill swiped her finger, and the screen switched from the Hells Kitchen footage to a satellite radar trajectory map spanning the United States.

On the chart, a discontinuous red high-heat alert line resembled a string of lit firecrackers.

Extending from New York on the East Coast all the way to California on the West Coast.

"Officer, this is top-secret data transferred from NORAD ten minutes ago." Hill's expression became particularly serious, "In the hours after last night's Hells Kitchen explosion, Military radar detected continuous chain explosion reactions in the Stratosphere."

"Initially, the Military thought it was some new type of cruise missile or meteor, but the target's movement was extremely bizarre—it relied entirely on continuous explosive propulsion, moving at near-Hypersonic speeds in a jumping pattern above the clouds."

Hill pointed to the end of the red line, her tone turning somewhat odd: "According to ballistic analysis, this moving bomb crossed the entire United States, with the final landing coordinates showing as... Malibu Beach, California."

"Malibu?" Fury frowned tightly, hearing the name of one of the old acquaintances, "Stark's Mansion?"

"Exactly. Given that Stark also experienced some kind of... undisclosed explosion attack last night, even activating property damage insurance, I have reason to suspect that whatever took off from Hells Kitchen is related to Stark."

Hill was clearly suspecting that Tony had invented something new again.

Stark would probably be speechless if he heard..

Sitting at home, trouble falls from the sky.

"Send Coulson to investigate." Fury turned off the screen, lightly tapping the table with his fingers, the wariness in his eyes growing stronger.

"A place like Hells Kitchen has all sorts of shady characters; have him go check it out in person."

"Whether it's Stark acting crazy or some new superhuman."
