Chapter 230 - Teaching Kryptonians How Things Are Done

As his words fell, Heisenberg smiled leisurely.

Before the curve of his lips had even returned to normal, he had already vanished from where he stood.

Even some of the Kryptonians couldn't follow his speed. Aside from Clark and Fiona, no one present could even touch the edge of Heisenberg's level.

The next instant, Brainiac frowned, his right hand snapping up in front of his face.

But Heisenberg didn't smash his fist directly into that palm. Instead, the moment Brainiac raised his hand to block, Heisenberg seized Brainiac's wrist in a death grip.

The current Heisenberg could perfectly control every last thread of his own strength.

There would probably never again be a scene of him throwing a single punch and causing the heavens to collapse and the earth to split!

Because his force, under his control, poured perfectly into his enemies—without wasting a single trace elsewhere!

Just like now: the punch he seemed to be throwing with full force could, in truth, be pulled back and switched to another move at any moment before it landed.

And at that moment, Heisenberg gripped Brainiac's wrist and smiled coldly at him.

"Has anyone ever popped your head open before?"

"What?"

Brainiac blinked. We're fighting, and you're suddenly asking questions?

Could it be that we're supposed to have a battle of words alongside the battle of fists?

Of course, the above was all joking. After Heisenberg asked, in the brief moment Brainiac was taken aback, his head was already clamped in Heisenberg's left hand!

Before Brainiac could make a move, Heisenberg drove his thumb straight into Brainiac's eye socket.

*Squelch!*

Brainiac's eyeball burst instantly.

But Brainiac showed no reaction whatsoever. An injury like this wasn't enough to make him feel pain.

He closed his eyes, and at the same time, both his hands came smashing toward Heisenberg's head.

Heisenberg didn't bother dodging. He simply slammed his own forehead straight into Brainiac's fists.

After the collision, Brainiac's upper body rocked back, and Heisenberg was likewise forced back a step.

Shaking his slightly dizzy head, Heisenberg took mental stock of the situation.

*So he really is on the same level as me!*

In the comics and the animated movies, Brainiac could brutalize Superman with a single hand. His strength and his battle record were both absolutely top-tier!

Thinking this, Heisenberg drew a breath.

*Looks like I still need to keep a lower profile.*

After all, even though Brainiac was powerful, in the end it was always Superman and Batman who won.

Heisenberg had no desire to find himself at war with the entire world before reaching the level of the Almighty.

As these thoughts drifted through his mind, Heisenberg swung Brainiac by the wrist and hurled him down toward the planet below.

The moment Brainiac slammed into the ground, Heisenberg had already caught up to him, stomping down and crushing his skull to pulp!

*SPLAT!!!*

An even more exaggerated sound of spraying flesh and blood rang out, green pus splattering extravagantly across the nearby soil.

But Heisenberg knew perfectly well that this was only the beginning. For a biomechanical machine, did you really think the brain was its weak point?

Of course not!

The headless Brainiac on the ground lay motionless, but the ground around him suddenly erupted with hundreds of tentacles!

Because Brainiac had landed on his back, his tentacles had long since extended out through the earth, hidden from sight.

Seeing the incoming tentacles, Heisenberg casually tossed the little broken ball floating beside him outward.

"Go get 'em!"

After giving the little ball a word of encouragement, Heisenberg completely ignored the tentacles in the sky and turned his full attention to the Brainiac lying flat on the ground—unleashing a furious barrage upon him.

Punch after punch, an unending torrent of fists that simply tore Brainiac apart.

Did you think a Saint's light-speed punch was truly light speed?

No!

Heisenberg's were the real light-speed blows!

In the briefest of instants, at least three hundred thousand strikes landed on Brainiac's body!

Only an assault like that could truly destroy this body of his—one that far surpassed Clark's!

Nearby, the little broken ball flashed a big laughing emoji as it shot into the sky, unfurling a green light barrier of modest size directly in front of it.

That barrier effortlessly blocked Brainiac's tentacles.

And after she blocked them, Brainiac's tentacles—now beyond his control—simply dropped to the ground.

Looking at the puddle of shredded flesh on the ground, and at the metal that was ruined but still retained its shape.

Heisenberg waved his hand, and the remaining metal on the ground floated into the air.

Then, Heisenberg flung that metal off into the distance.

"Scholar, take this back and analyze its composition. This metal is far sturdier than our current gravity particles.

If possible, upgrade the composition of the gravity particles. Our warriors deserve better equipment!"

"Understood, my lord!!!"

The Scholar was instantly overjoyed. The hardness and toughness of this metal—he had seen it with his own eyes.

The metal on Brainiac's body was something even Heisenberg had trouble destroying. It was absolutely among the finest materials in the universe.

After the Scholar had gleefully carried off the metal sample, Heisenberg cradled the little ball and drifted slowly upward.

When he returned to the hovering ranks of the Kryptonians, he gave his people a quiet instruction.

"The war has only just begun. Brainiac has no idea how many backup bodies he can still use.

The war between him and me—I'll try to keep it contained near me. You use the opportunity to search for our people."

"Yes, my lord!"

Fiona nodded crisply, then led all the Kryptonians away in separate directions.

And Heisenberg remained where he was, looking toward the ship ahead that was slowly opening up.

Amid a grinding sound of shifting machinery, from the skull-shaped ship in the sky drifted out fifteen identical Brainiacs, one after another.

They flew up before Heisenberg in perfect unison, speaking to him with the same movements and the same speed.

"You have made me taste anger once again. I thank you for completing my emotional system.

However, next—please die as soon as possible!

My world has already been too badly damaged by you. I can no longer tolerate you continuing to destroy my collection!"

"Heh. You say that as if your intolerance could ever stop me!"

Heisenberg mocked even as he reached out disdainfully to rub the little broken ball in his arms.

While teasing little Mogo, he asked, as if speaking to himself:

"As a mechanical lifeform, where exactly is your core? Is it the ship? Or is it the entire Hui-核 Star itself!

Or have you long since hidden your core in another universe, leaving this place as nothing more than your arsenal and weapons depot?"

At that, Heisenberg smiled coldly, then looked at the fifteen Brainiacs before him and said gravely:

"You had better pray that my people and my city are here on Hui-核 Star right now!

If so, then after I destroy Hui-核 Star, perhaps I'll let your backup go!

Otherwise...

If I fail to bring my people home today...

Then even if I must destroy everything you now possess, I will hunt down every last footprint you leave behind, until every shred of your wisdom and thought is crushed to nothing in my hands.

The Krypton of the past ceased to exist the moment I returned.

And now, for my new Krypton—if anyone dares to scheme behind my back or harbor any ill intent toward it!

Heh heh!

When that day comes, I won't mind letting you all have a good, long look at how a Krypton at the height of its power handles itself and gets things done!"

*BOOM!!!*

The instant those words fell, Heisenberg raised his right hand, and his invisible force field blocked a full thirty blazing plasma beams.

His figure surged forward, charging headlong through the beams fired by the Brainiacs and into their midst.

One punch. One kick.

Not a single Brainiac could withstand Heisenberg's attacks.

If Brainiac truly was a multiverse-tier powerhouse, then forgive the comparison—he might just be the weakest one
