In the distant sky, Heisenberg looked toward Darkseid, an expectant smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.
"Since we're both here, let's get to it. I'm really looking forward to the feeling of holding your head in my hand too!
Your head is rounder than his—kicking it around like a ball would be a thrill, haha!"
As his words fell, Heisenberg casually tossed Brainiac's head away.
Just as Brainiac's head was about to hit the ground, Heisenberg's muscles tensed, his entire body coiled and ready to strike!
He immediately wanted to charge at Darkseid.
But in that instant, Heisenberg froze.
And so did Darkseid, on the other side.
Darkseid had been about to deliver one last taunt to Heisenberg, but before he could even open his mouth, he watched time shatter into dust under some irresistible force.
Brainiac's flung-away head flew back into Heisenberg's hand, and Heisenberg repeated his words once more.
"...kicking it around would be a thrill—son of a bitch!"
Heisenberg cut himself off mid-sentence, cursed in frustration, and then hurled the head in his hand far away again.
After that, both he and Darkseid couldn't help but turn their gazes toward the battlefield.
At the far edge of their vision, Barry was stepping through time, step by step. He rushed in at the very instant before the mantis's blade came down on Diana, shoving her out of the way just in time.
Because of that, Diana's right arm was broken, but at least her head was still on her shoulders.
The mantis's blade grazed dangerously past Barry's chest, tearing a gash in the suit across his chest.
But after tumbling and rolling away, he had at least managed to save someone while keeping his own life.
Looking at Barry rolling across the ground, Darkseid let out a cold laugh.
"The Speed Force, heh. Is that all your subordinates can do—cheat?"
"You still have the nerve to 'heh'?"
Heisenberg shot back immediately.
"Believe me, if I took any one of my people and powered them up, every single one of them could beat you from Apokolips all the way to the edge of the universe."
Just look at who he had under his command.
Which one of these heroes didn't have their own solo comic? Who hadn't beaten the hell out of Darkseid at some point?
First and foremost was Batman, who had even worn the Hellbat armor and charged straight onto Apokolips to talk trash, throw down, and sit in the throne!
Could you even imagine that?!
As his words fell, Heisenberg suddenly struck, charging straight at Darkseid.
Watching Heisenberg fly toward him, Darkseid's mouth twisted, and a crooked, zigzagging red beam suddenly burst from his eyes.
Heisenberg knew it was the Omega Beams, but he still didn't dodge.
He wanted to test how powerful those beams really were.
He extended his right hand, and a force field rapidly condensed in front of the incoming beam.
Unfortunately, the force field was pierced through in an instant.
The Omega Beams were one of the most unique forces in the universe, and their core had long transcended the category of the four fundamental forces.
It wasn't that the force field couldn't stop them—it was that the beams simply didn't make contact with the force field at all!
To non-living matter, the Omega Beams essentially didn't exist.
So the beam passed through Heisenberg's force field barrier as effortlessly as light passing through glass.
In the next instant, it passed through the armor on Heisenberg's chest just as naturally!
The moment the Omega Beams struck Heisenberg's skin, he felt his chest cavity violently shake.
Then, every cell in his body seemed to undergo a strange transformation.
It was as if each cell had become an independent entity, and these entities were all eagerly trying to split apart and go their separate ways.
In other words...
Heisenberg felt like he was about to explode!
He immediately burned his divine power fiercely, using his force field and godly energy to hold every cell in his body firmly in place.
This stalemate lasted a full three seconds before Heisenberg barely managed to stop himself from blowing apart.
Across from him, Darkseid frowned. He truly hadn't expected that Heisenberg wouldn't die from his Omega Beams!
In the thirty thousand years since he had obtained this power, he had only ever encountered three or four beings who could withstand his Omega Beams and survive!
One was his mother, and another was the ruler of New Genesis, Highfather.
His father and brother would certainly have no problem either.
Aside from those four, now there was one more: Heisenberg!
Watching Heisenberg gradually recover his bearings, Darkseid laughed darkly.
"You really are an interesting opponent. It seems our game can go on a while longer!"
"Same to you, Darkseid!"
Heisenberg swallowed the blood in his mouth, then waved his right hand. The spear Gungnir instantly appeared in his grasp.
He raised Gungnir high, aimed at Darkseid across from him, and roared.
"An eye for an eye—GO!!!"
The moment his words fell, Gungnir shot toward Darkseid like a bolt of lightning, like a great sun falling from the western sky, carrying enough energy to tear the Earth apart.
Darkseid instantly flew three thousand meters to the right, tracing a semicircle around Heisenberg, then turned and continued charging toward him.
But he had flown less than ten meters when he suddenly spun around, staring in astonishment at Gungnir, which was arcing through the air like true lightning, constantly correcting its trajectory toward him.
"Homing type?"
Darkseid muttered, and then, in the span of a moment, shifted positions more than two thousand times.
With his movements, countless afterimages appeared in the sky. The warriors fighting on the ground immediately noticed that the sky was filled with Darkseids!!!
Clark drew a deep breath. He knew that was Darkseid dodging his great-grandfather's attack.

Granny Goodness, whose appearance was almost indistinguishable from Captain Marvel, let out an excited low growl, then charged straight through the portal.
Her first target was the disaster-plagued Wonder Woman!
Just a moment ago, because the Apokolips they were on and Huixin Star were not in the same multiverse, the space-time of the two universes was not synchronized.
Therefore, everyone on Apokolips had witnessed the reversal of time on Huixin Star.

"You, who only escaped death by violating the principles of space-time, do not deserve to live in this world!
Let me send you back to the hell you were meant for!!!"
"What?!!"
Diana was utterly stunned. What the hell was this enemy talking about?
She was supposed to die?
Before Diana could figure out the key to it all, Granny Goodness's attacks were already upon her.
Diana had no choice but to abandon her thoughts and throw herself fully into battle with Granny Goodness.
Nearby, Batman, clad in the long-tailed manta armor, clearly witnessed the scene of Diana being repeatedly singled out as a target.
With his intellect, he immediately concluded that Diana must possess some kind of power that Apokolips feared.
Otherwise, were the people of Apokolips targeting her out of jealousy for her beauty?
With that thought, Batman immediately flew over and joined the fight between Wonder Woman and Granny Goodness.
With the help of the long-tailed manta Batman, Diana was finally no longer being unilaterally beaten by Granny Goodness!
However, Batman didn't know...
That just as he shifted the focus of his rescue onto Diana, the true key figure nearby—the Flash—
had been marked.
On the other side of the portal, after Granny Goodness stepped onto the battlefield, Kanto—the greatest assassin in the multiverse—looked at Barry with excitement written all over his face!
He drew his blade from his waist and licked it with his mouthparts.
Then he lowered the knife and growled softly to those still remaining.
"Nobody touch that speedster. He's my prey!
Assassinating a speedster is the greatest honor an assassin like me can ever have!"
"No one's fighting you for him, you bastard!"
Beside him, Darkseid's eldest son, Kalibak, roared in excitement.
"I am the son of Darkseid, so of course I will seek out the child of this so-called Heisenberg to fight!
Since he is a warrior worthy of my father, then while he battles my father, I shall battle his child—that is the only fitting match, haha!!!"
