Chapter 7 - Throne of the Moonlight — Lock On! FIRE!

Evan followed the direction of Seele's gaze.

Sure enough, deep within Rivet Town, a massive number of Fragmentum monsters were lurking.

These creatures were born from the Stellaron's corruption, yet no one truly knew where they originated from.

While they didn't pose much of a threat to Evan—for now—

the sheer number of monsters gathered in Rivet Town made an uneasy feeling rise in Seele's heart.

Before she could make a move—

A streak of fire suddenly grazed past her ear.

A Fragmentum creature that had been about to ambush her was blown apart instantly.

"Ha. Truth really does come from the caliber of a cannon,"

Evan chuckled.

"The bigger the caliber, the stronger the truth."

He turned to Seele and said calmly,

"Go find Hook. Leave these monsters to me."

"Perfect timing to test the power of the Path of Erudition I just gained."

"Path of Erudition…?"

Seele hesitated for a moment.

Feeling the faint Path energy radiating from Evan, she finally nodded.

Her eyes shifted toward the depths of Rivet Town—

near the orphanage, where Natasha's old clinic used to be.

If Hook was searching for medical supplies, that was the only place she could have gone.

"Alright. Be careful."

"I'll bring Hook back. This area is yours."

With that, Seele's figure vanished—

disappearing without a trace.

At the same time, Evan reconstructed three massive floating cannons around himself.

These weapons were known as the Throne of the Moonlight.

Fueled by Path energy, the cannons began charging, locking onto the Fragmentum monsters that eyed Evan like predators.

"ROAR!!"

"BOOM!!"

"CLANG—BANG—CRASH!!!"

Dozens of Fragmentum replicas surged forward, charging straight at Evan.

Most of these monsters were copies created by the Fragmentum, modeled after real creatures and constructs from the outside world.

Some were even replicas of fallen Supreme Guardians from past generations—

manifesting as twisted shadows before his eyes.

A horrifying power.

One that was devouring all of Belobog.

Not just the Underworld—

even the Overworld was facing the same nightmare.

A towering mechanical construct several meters tall creaked as it charged toward Evan.

Shadows of Silvermane Guards swarmed in from all sides.

Two elemental monsters—one ice, one fire—provided ranged support from afar.

Ice spikes and fireballs rained down continuously.

Gun-wielding constructs cut off Evan's retreat entirely—

leaving him no escape route.

"Analyze…"

Recalling every parameter of the Throne of the Moonlight, Evan began reconstructing more cannons.

A fourth.

A fifth.

A sixth.

A seventh.

Only when twelve Thrones of the Moonlight hovered around him did he finally reach the local limit.

This wasn't Evan's limit.

It was Rivet Town's.

"Throne of the Moonlight—"

"Charge."

"FIRE!"

Crimson flames tore through the sky.

The Thrones of the Moonlight gathered immense Imaginary Energy, compressing it into devastating beams of heat and fire.

At Evan's command, they unleashed everything.

Even though these Fragmentum monsters were products of Stellaron replication—

under the crushing force of Path-powered Imaginary Energy,

nothing survived.

Not even scraps.

Only scattered cores and fragments remained, discarded on the ground like worthless trash.

With Evan at the center—

twelve Thrones of the Moonlight spread outward in a perfect circle, saturating the area with relentless firepower.

In mere seconds—

every enemy was annihilated.

A long moment later, Evan sat atop a rooftop, staring at the twelve cannons floating around him.

"…Wait."

"Am I… stronger than I thought?"

If he remembered correctly—

The first time Bronya unleashed Moonlight-level firepower on this scale, she nearly destroyed herself.

If not for Dark Seele using Abyss Flower, Bronya would've been completely done for.

Evan looked up.

That massive mechanical presence was long gone.

If not for environmental limits—

he could've easily constructed a hundred, or even a thousand Thrones of the Moonlight,

and carpet-bombed Rivet Town without restraint.

And if it wasn't just his imagination—

anything he reconstructed would remain indefinitely unless he chose to dismiss it.

Because Path energy was continuously supplying Imaginary power.

As expected.

A Path really was just a super-sized charger.

Way more convenient than Honkai Energy.

"A Pathstrider, huh…"

"Did Nous take interest in me because of the Herrscher of Reason authority?"

"Analyze. Reconstruct…"

"Tch—"

"This… has real potential."
