Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 : Heirs of fate

In the quiet corners of the world, two children grew under vastly different shadows.

Mo Yanluo, the infant son of Mo Zhu and Li Feng, had never known the horrors of the battlefield firsthand. From the very beginning, he was surrounded by care, love, and protection. Li Feng personally oversaw his early training, while Mo Zhu made sure he had everything a future Holy Son could need. The child's aura was remarkable, even in infancy, a subtle reflection of both his father's power and Li Feng's shadow.

"He will grow strong," Li Feng whispered, watching the boy practice simple energy manipulations.

"And one day… he will be more than just a son. He will be a force no one dares challenge."

Mo Zhu stood beside him, arms folded.

"He carries both of our legacies," Mo Zhu said quietly. "The world will either kneel before him… or be crushed beneath his feet."

Li Feng said nothing—but beneath his mask, his eyes softened slightly.

Meanwhile, far from the Demon Clan, Xu Tianming, the secret hope of the shattered Heavenly Sect, trained under a hidden master. Without a sect, without allies, and without even a true name that the world recognized, he studied in secrecy. His master often reminded him:

"You were born to change this world, Xu Tianming. One day, the Demon Sect will fall at your hands."

Xu Tianming lowered his head respectfully.

"Yes, Master."

But deep within—

Xu Tianming did not know the truth.

He did not know that the man he called Master was the very one who had killed his mother.

He did not know that behind those calm eyes and guiding words, hidden ambitions and dark intentions waited patiently for the right moment.

To Xu Tianming, his master was his savior.

His protector.

His only family.

But to the master—

Xu Tianming was something else entirely.

A weapon.

A tool.

A future he intended to control.

As Xu Tianming practiced his sword forms beneath the cold mountain wind, doubts slowly grew in his heart.

Despite everything he had been told… he had never personally seen demons slaughter innocent humans.

He had never seen the evil he was taught to hate.

"Master," Xu Tianming asked one day, hesitating slightly, "are demons truly incapable of good?"

The old man's eyes darkened for a brief moment.

"Do not question destiny," he replied coldly. "Your purpose is not to understand them. Your purpose is to destroy them."

Xu Tianming nodded.

But the question never left his mind.

Far away, in the Demon Realm—

Mo Yanluo stood before Li Feng, breathing heavily after hours of training.

"I failed," the boy said, clenching his fists.

Li Feng looked at him calmly.

"No."

Mo Yanluo looked up.

"You improved."

The boy's eyes lit up faintly.

Li Feng stepped closer.

"Failure only exists when you stop standing up again."

Mo Yanluo straightened immediately.

"I understand, Uncle."

Li Feng placed a hand on his head briefly.

"You will face enemies stronger than you," he said quietly. "Enemies who will try to break you."

His voice lowered.

"But you will break them first."

Mo Yanluo nodded firmly.

"I will."

Two children.

Two futures.

One raised in love and protection.

One raised in lies and hidden manipulation.

Both moving toward the same inevitable collision.

And somewhere deep inside his shadowed heart—

Li Feng knew.

When that day came—

The world itself would tremble.
