Seated in his new office, Damian stared at his phone. On the screen was a message from Twenty, with a meeting time set for 5pm. After his conversation with Twenty the previous night, they had agreed to move forward with his plan and signed the Faustian bargain.
Twenty had also agreed to walk Damian through everything he needed to know about the gang. With that information, they could begin plotting against it properly. That alone meant his evening would already be busy.
As for his new subordinates, Damian spared them little thought. He neither cared enough nor had the time to bother with them. At the moment, he had far too many problems of his own to concern himself with other people.
"You seem distracted…"
Clara's voice from the other side of the desk made him flinch slightly. Frowning, he rubbed his temple before leaning back into his chair.
