Chapter 1

Vanessa Breaks Free

Charlie looked at her.

"Vanessa—now."

She understood.

She stopped fighting the binding.

Stopped resisting.

Her breathing synced with Charlie's.

"…Come here," she whispered softly.Not a command.

A promise.

The binding cracked.

Illusion surged—not outward, but inward, collapsing around the silent enemy's senses.

Poison layered gently.

Efficient.

Controlled.

The silent enemy dropped to one knee, gagging silently.

The anchor tried to reset the field—

But Sun Spots flared across the terrain.

Mana vanished.

Control failed.

Charlie stepped forward, Chromosphere pressing like a heated wall.

"No Corona," he said quietly.

"But this ends here."

Vanessa stood beside him.

No edge.

No teasing.

Just resolve.

The breaker fell first.

Then the anchor.

The system chimed.

Victory: Charlie & VanessaQualification: FINAL

Charlie exhaled—and nearly collapsed.

Vanessa caught him.

Held him.

"…You scared me," she said quietly.

Charlie laughed weakly. "Yeah. Me too."

She didn't let go.

Above them, the Super Moon burned brighter than ever.

Finals awaited.

And Corona—

Corona was still watching.

Final Match

The arena for the final was different.

No ruins. No cover.

Just a wide circular platform floating beneath the Super Moon.

The system voice echoed calmly:

FINAL MATCH Team Charlie & Vanessa Versus Team Paradox

Two opponents appeared.

One wore a coat filled with glowing symbols that shifted constantly. The other held a thin cube-like device floating above his palm.

Vanessa frowned.

"…I don't like that cube."

Charlie nodded slowly. "Quantum mechanics style abilities."

The first opponent smiled slightly.

"You understand physics?"

"Enough to know this will be annoying," Charlie replied.

Quantum Battlefield

The cube expanded.

Fragments of light scattered across the arena like floating mirrors.

"Quantum Split," the opponent said.

Suddenly—

Three versions of him existed at once.

Charlie swung Sunset Shimmer.

The blade passed through one copy.

The other two attacked simultaneously.

Vanessa reacted instantly.

"Come here, Odysseus."

Illusion folded outward, trying to force the real one to reveal himself.

But the copies didn't disappear.

Instead, the man laughed softly.

"In quantum systems," he said,"multiple states can exist until observation collapses them."

Charlie grimaced.

"…So attacking blindly won't work."

The second enemy stepped forward.

The cube flashed again.

"Loophole Field."

The air warped.

Charlie's Sun Spot landed on the enemy—

Then vanished.

Not resisted.

Not removed.

Redirected.

Mana drained from the mark—but flowed back into the enemy instead.

"…They reversed the rule," Charlie realized.

Vanessa's eyes narrowed.

"So every ability we use becomes a gamble."

Charlie slowed down.

Photosphere activated quietly.

Chromosphere rose like heat waves around him.

Instead of attacking the enemies—

He marked the quantum fragments floating around the field.

"Sun Spot."

Mana drained from the unstable constructs.

The illusions flickered.

The quantum copies began collapsing.

One by one—

The real enemy appeared.

Vanessa moved instantly.

Her Siren voice slipped through the collapsing field.

"Come here… Odysseus."

Illusion struck true.

The enemy staggered.

Charlie stepped forward.

Chromosphere pressed down like a furnace wall.

The cube cracked.

The loophole field collapsed.

Both enemies dropped to one knee.

Victory was seconds away.

Neither Charlie nor Vanessa noticed the shadow forming behind the broken arena wall.

A man stepped forward slowly.

A small bottle rolled in his hand.

He drank it.

The liquid shimmered briefly across his skin.

Stein.

"…Perfect timing," he murmured.

Before anyone could react—

He moved.

Fast.

Precise.

The weakened Team Paradox fell almost instantly.

Their bodies collapsed beside the shattered cube.

Charlie froze.

"…What?"

Vanessa spun around.

"STEIN!"

But Stein didn't attack them.

Instead he knelt beside the fallen players.

His hand touched the ground.

The monster corpses scattered around the arena—remains from previous matches—began twitching faintly.

Stein smiled.

Chapter 2

Skill Activated — Its Our

Black threads spread across the battlefield like roots.

They connected to the fallen bodies.

To broken monsters.

To anything that once held life.

"…Ownership is a funny concept," Stein said calmly.

The corpses rose.

Eyes empty.

Movements stiff—but obedient.

"…If something has no owner," he continued,"then it becomes… ours."

Dozens of bodies stood behind him now.

Controlled.

Silent.

Vanessa stepped closer to Charlie.

"…He just turned the battlefield into an army."

Charlie's arms burned faintly—Corona scars reacting.

Stein looked up at them.

Smiling.

"And now," he said softly,

"let's see if the sun can burn a graveyard."

Behind him—

The dead began moving.

he arena was already destroyed.

Pieces of broken stone floated in the air from earlier abilities. The moon above Dixy glowed brighter than before, its silver light reflecting off the battlefield.

Charlie stood beside Vanessa, breathing heavily.

Across the arena…

Stein slowly walked forward.

Behind him stood the corpses of the defeated Quantum Team, their bodies moving unnaturally. Their eyes were empty.

And around them—

More monsters made from fallen fighters.

Stein smiled calmly.

"Thank you for defeating them for me…"

"Now everything here… belongs to us."

His eyes glowed.

Skill Activated — It's Our

The corpse army moved.

Phase 1 — Swarm

Ten monsters rushed forward.

Charlie stepped forward immediately.

"Vanessa, stay close!"

His eyes burned with golden light.

Phase One — Solar Layers

Charlie raised his hand.

"Photosphere — Sun Spot!"

Dark solar marks appeared on multiple enemies.

Instantly their energy began draining.

Golden light flowed into Charlie.

The monsters slowed down.

Charlie dashed forward and kicked one away while Vanessa fired multiple light spears to destroy another.

But the problem was obvious.

More enemies kept coming.

Stein stood behind them like a puppeteer.

The battlefield had become silent except for the wind.

Broken stone floated in the air from the destroyed arena. The Super Moon above Dixy glowed like a giant eye watching the fight.

Charlie wiped blood from the corner of his mouth.

Across from him stood Stein, calm as always.

Behind him…

The corpses of fallen fighters slowly stood up again.

Their eyes empty.

Their bodies controlled.

"This battlefield…" Stein said softly."Everything here… is ours."

The corpse army rushed forward.

Charlie activated his power immediately.

"Photosphere — Sun Spot!"

Black solar marks appeared on multiple enemies.

Energy started draining from them and flowing into Charlie.

Vanessa spun her spear beside him.

"Left side!"

Charlie moved.

Vanessa dashed forward and struck two monsters with precise movements, destroying them instantly.

For a moment—

They were winning.

But Stein was watching.

Waiting.

One of the Quantum Team corpses raised its hand.

A strange distortion appeared in the air.

A quantum loop.

Suddenly the ground under Charlie twisted.

Gravity reversed.

Charlie was thrown upward violently.

"Charlie!"

Vanessa looked up—

And that was the moment Stein had been waiting for.

Three controlled corpses rushed toward her.

She blocked the first strike.

Clang!

Her spear stopped the blade.

She kicked the second enemy away.

But the third monster grabbed her arm from behind.

Vanessa struggled.

"Let go!"

Another corpse raised a weapon made from broken energy.

Charlie was still falling from the gravity loop.

His eyes widened.

"VANESSA!"

Time Slows

Vanessa looked up.

She saw Charlie reaching out toward her.

Too far.

Too late.

She understood immediately.

If she tried to escape…

The blade would hit Charlie when he landed.

So she made a decision.

Vanessa stopped struggling.

Instead—

She planted her feet firmly.

And pushed Charlie away with her remaining strength as he fell near her.

"Move!"

Charlie was thrown backward.

Then—

The blade came down.

A sharp flash of light.

Silence.

Vanessa collapsed to one knee.

Her spear fell from her hand.

Her left sleeve was empty.

Her arm had been severed.

The arena went completely quiet.

Even the monsters stopped moving for a moment.

Charlie stared.

His mind refused to understand what he was seeing.

"…Vanessa…?"

She was breathing heavily.

Her body shaking from pain.

But she didn't scream.

She slowly grabbed her fallen spear with her remaining hand.

And forced herself to stand.

"Don't… look like that," she said, her voice shaking but stubborn."It's just an arm."

Charlie's hands trembled.

Stein smiled slightly.

"Loyalty… sacrifice… how touching."

Something inside Charlie broke.

The air around him started heating up.

The ground cracked beneath his feet.

Golden flames began rising around his body.

His voice was quiet.

But filled with anger.

"You took her arm…"

Solar energy erupted violently.

The battlefield shook.

Charlie lifted his glowing hand.

"Then I'll take everything from you."

Golden light burst from his eyes.

The first stage of his true power awakened.

The Sun's Wrath

The battlefield was silent.

Vanessa stood with only one arm, breathing heavily. Her spear rested against the ground to support her balance.

Charlie stared at her.

His chest felt tight.

His hands were shaking.

Stein watched the scene calmly.

"Interesting," Stein said."Even after losing an arm… she still stands."

Vanessa forced a small grin.

"Don't… look at me like I'm dying."

She pointed her spear toward Stein.

"Finish him."

Charlie lowered his head.

For a moment…

Everything became quiet.

Then the ground beneath him cracked.

Phase One — Solar Awakening

Golden flames erupted around Charlie's body.

The air temperature rose instantly.

His eyes burned like sunlight.

Charlie lifted his hand slowly.

"Photosphere — Sun Spot."

A massive solar mark appeared directly on Stein's chest.

Energy began draining violently.

Stein frowned for the first time.

"So that's how it works…"

But Charlie wasn't finished.

Phase Two — Chromosphere

Red solar flames ignited around Charlie's body.

The ground melted beneath his feet.

"Chromosphere — Solar Flare Step."

Charlie vanished.

BOOM.

He appeared behind Stein and slammed him into the ground with a blazing strike.

Another flare explosion launched Stein across the arena.

The corpse puppets tried to move—

But Charlie destroyed them instantly with blazing flare kicks.

Stein stood again, slightly injured now.

His smile had disappeared.

"You're burning yourself out."

Charlie didn't answer.

Instead…

He raised both arms.

Even though they were already trembling.

Final Layer

The moonlight dimmed.

Because the light from Charlie became brighter.

White-gold flames gathered above him.

They twisted together into something enormous.

A gigantic blade made of solar fire.

The air screamed from the heat.

Even Vanessa had to shield her eyes.

Charlie spoke slowly.

"Corona…"

The flames expanded even further.

The blade grew larger.

More unstable.

More dangerous.

His arms began burning from the backlash.

Skin scorched from the power.

But he didn't stop.

Charlie looked directly at Stein.

His voice echoed across the arena.

"You wanted everything here to belong to you."

The giant blade roared like a miniature sun.

Charlie clenched his fist.

"Then take this."

SUPER CORONA BLADE

Charlie threw the sword.

The flaming weapon tore across the battlefield like a falling star.

Stein tried to activate It's Our again—

But the Sun Spot mark suddenly drained his remaining energy.

His body froze.

For the first time—

Stein looked shocked.

"…Impossible."

The solar blade struck.

A massive explosion of golden fire swallowed the arena.

The shockwave shattered the remaining battlefield.

When the flames finally disappeared…

Stein was gone.

Only ashes remained.

The Super Moon slowly dimmed.

The battlefield was quiet again.

Charlie fell to one knee.

Both of his arms were burned badly from the Corona backlash.

He could barely move them.

Vanessa walked slowly toward him.

One arm gone.

But still standing.

She looked at the destroyed battlefield and then at Charlie.

A small smirk appeared on her face.

"You really overdid it."

Charlie let out a tired laugh.

"…You told me to finish him."

Vanessa leaned her spear against her shoulder.

"Yeah."

She looked up at the moon.

"Looks like we won."

The Super Moon Event was finally over.

But the scars from this battle…

Would stay with them forever.

Chapter 3

Moon Badge Ceremony

The night after the final battle.

The arena of Dixy had been repaired just enough for the closing ceremony.

Thousands of lights illuminated the stadium.

Above them…

The Super Moon still hung in the sky, glowing softly.

All the surviving teams stood in the arena.

Some injured.

Some exhausted.

But everyone knew who the winners were.

Charlie and Vanessa stood at the center.

Vanessa's left sleeve was empty, tied neatly at the shoulder. Despite the injury, she stood straight with her spear resting beside her.

The crowd whispered.

Some looked shocked.

Some looked impressed.

Some looked at them with respect.

Because everyone had seen what happened in the final battle.

The Announcement

A tall official from Dixy stepped onto the stage.

His voice echoed across the arena.

"The Super Moon Event… has officially ended."

The stadium became quiet.

"Fifty teams entered this competition."

A large screen behind him showed images from the battles.

"But only one team stood at the end."

The screen displayed Charlie throwing the Super Corona Blade.

The crowd erupted.

Cheers filled the arena.

The official raised a small silver badge that reflected the moonlight.

A symbol shaped like a crescent moon with solar rays behind it.

"The winners of the Super Moon Event…"

He looked directly at them.

"Charlie… and Vanessa."

Thunderous applause exploded through the stadium.

Some fighters even started chanting their names.

Charlie and Vanessa slowly walked forward.

Charlie's arms were still bandaged from the burns.

Vanessa walked calmly despite the missing arm.

As they reached the stage…

The official looked at them with clear respect.

"You both fought with extraordinary courage."

He paused and looked at Vanessa.

"And extraordinary sacrifice."

The crowd clapped again.

The Moon Badge

The official handed the badge to Charlie.

The metal glowed faintly under the moonlight.

"The Moon Badge."

"A symbol of those who conquer the Super Moon."

Charlie looked at the badge quietly.

He remembered the battle.

The explosion.

Vanessa falling.

He tightened his grip slightly.

Then he turned.

And held the badge out toward Vanessa.

She blinked in surprise.

"…What?"

Charlie smiled slightly.

"This is ours."

The crowd went silent for a second.

Then erupted even louder.

Vanessa rolled her eyes.

But she smiled.

"Idiot."

She gently pushed the badge back toward him.

"You're the one who finished the fight."

Charlie clipped the Moon Badge onto his uniform.

It shined brightly.

For a moment…

The moonlight reflected off it like sunlight.

The announcer raised his voice one last time.

"The champions of the Super Moon Event!"

The entire arena cheered.

Charlie looked up at the giant moon in the sky.

Vanessa stood beside him.

Even injured…

They had survived.

And won.

But deep inside Charlie's mind…

One thought remained.

This battle felt too strange.

Stein's actions.

The corpse army.

The invincible potion.

Something about it didn't feel like the end.

Vanessa noticed his expression.

"You're thinking again."

Charlie sighed.

"…Yeah."

She smirked.

"Good."

She looked up at the moon.

"Because this story definitely isn't over."

The Super Moon glowed above them.

Watching.

EPILOUGUE

The ceremony ended.

The crowd slowly left the arena.

The lights of Dixy dimmed one by one until only the silver glow of the Super Moon remained.

Charlie stood alone near the center of the arena.

The Moon Badge was attached to his uniform.

He looked up at the sky.

"…It's finally over."

A soft voice answered behind him.

"Yeah."

Charlie turned.

Vanessa was standing there.

Her injured arm was wrapped and secured with a medical sling now.

Even like that, she still looked confident.

Charlie scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

"You should be resting."

Vanessa shrugged.

"I hate hospitals."

Charlie laughed quietly.

For a moment they just stood there in silence.

The moonlight shining over the empty battlefield.

Leaving Dixy

Vanessa started walking toward the exit.

Then suddenly she stopped.

"…Charlie."

He looked at her.

"Yeah?"

Vanessa walked closer.

Very close.

Close enough that Charlie looked confused.

"What—"

Before he could finish—

Vanessa quickly leaned forward and kissed his cheek.

Charlie froze completely.

His brain stopped working.

Vanessa stepped back immediately.

Her face slightly red but she tried to act normal.

"That's for saving my life."

Charlie touched his cheek, still shocked.

"…You lost an arm saving me."

Vanessa smirked.

"Then we're even."

She turned around and started walking toward the exit.

Before leaving, she raised her remaining hand and waved.

"See you later, hero."

And just like that—

She disappeared into the corridor.

Leaving Charlie standing alone under the moon.

Still processing what just happened.

"…What just happened."

Reality Shift

The moonlight flickered.

The arena lights faded.

Then suddenly—

The scene shifted.

The battlefield of Dixy vanished.

Instead—

A dark underground laboratory appeared somewhere far away.

A man sat quietly in a chair.

His body wrapped in bandages.

His eyes slowly opened.

It was Stein.

Alive.

Machines around him beeped softly.

In front of him stood several figures in the shadows.

Stein smiled weakly.

"So… the experiment succeeded."

One of the shadowed figures spoke.

"You were defeated."

Stein chuckled.

"No."

His eyes glowed faintly.

"I observed them."

He tapped the table lightly.

A screen appeared.

On it—

Footage of Charlie using Corona Blade.

Stein watched carefully.

"Solar energy… layered abilities…"

His smile widened.

"How fascinating."

Another screen appeared.

This one showing Vanessa during the battle.

Stein leaned back in his chair.

"Phase One has begun."

The shadowed figure asked.

"What about the boy?"

Stein's eyes gleamed with interest.

"Charlie?"

He chuckled quietly.

"We'll let the sun burn a little brighter first."

The screen zoomed in on Charlie's Moon Badge.

Stein whispered one last sentence.

"Then we'll take it."
