Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Harry Osborn! Rhodey's Other Identity!

At dawn, Rhodey invited all the guests out of his house.

Then he called the cleaning auntie from Paradise Tower to clean the house thoroughly, inside and out.

As a super-rich second-generation, Rhodey never did things himself if money could solve them.

Including making friends!

Therefore, almost all of his fair-weather friends were friends only because of his money.

Of course, Rhodey also had some equally wealthy friends.

Like the one in front of him.

"Tell me, Harry, what is it this time?"

Opening the refrigerator, Rhodey took out two cans of drinks and casually tossed one to Harry, who was sitting on the sofa.

Fizz~!

Harry opened it and took two big gulps, then put down the can and said, "Rhodey, do me a favor."

"What favor?"

Rhodey sat down and asked.

"You know, my father passed away some time ago."

Harry's face showed a complex expression as he said this.

His relationship with his father, Roman Osborn, was very complicated; though they were father and son, they hadn't seen each other for several years before Roman Osborn's death.

Some of the issues between them could not be explained by outsiders.

Harry only truly understood his father, who had always been overly cold to him, after learning of his death.

However, the current problem did not come from his father.

It was about the Osborn Group.

The Osborn Group is one of the top biotechnology companies in the U.S.

Its market value exceeds 1.5 trillion U.S. dollars!

However, the Osborn family only held 7.5% of it.

Therefore;

Although Roman Osborn was the founder of the Osborn Group, he actually did not have as much say in the company as imagined.

Various cross-shareholdings, pressure from the Military, and so on.

All of these were unknown to outsiders.

And after Roman Osborn's death, as his sole legal heir, Harry Osborn inherited that 7.5% of the shares, becoming the largest shareholder of the Osborn Group!

But when Harry went to the company these past few days, he found that the other shareholders seemed to be deliberately excluding him.

He was afraid that he would lose control of the company and lose the empire his father had worked so hard to build.

However, he had never seriously learned how to manage a large group company since he was a child.

It was too difficult for him to come up with a solution right away.

Therefore;

He came to his only good friend, Rhodey, for help.

Harry in this World has nothing to do with Spider-Man, Peter Parker; the two have never had any contact.

In fact, Peter Parker is only fifteen years old this year.

And Harry is the same age as Rhodey, both 23 years old.

There is an eight-year age difference between them, so naturally, there would be no overlap.

"How do you want me to help you?"

Rhodey asked.

After hearing Harry's description of the situation, to be honest, Rhodey didn't know how to help Harry.

Because the current situation was that all the major and minor shareholders of Osborn had united to try and kick the Osborn family out; this was not something that could be easily changed.

Even if Harry tried his best to win over some shareholders, it would be useless.

Because this was the general trend!

What's more;

Rhodey didn't think Harry could win over these people.

To put it bluntly, the benefits weren't enough!

The benefit for those shareholders uniting to kick the Osborn family out was the 7.5% of shares that Harry held.

So what benefits could Harry give them?

Promise them to take down some major shareholders and then divide their shares?

But the key is that people have to believe Harry has this ability!

And in fact, Harry is a playboy who has never managed group business; who would believe he has this ability?

The answer is no one!

Therefore;

He couldn't win over anyone to join his side.

"I want you to get rid of those shareholders!"

Harry looked up, revealing a ferocious expression on his face.

He clenched his fists; he had had enough of those old guys' temper these past few days.

He swore to get revenge!

However;

He did not have this ability.

But he didn't, yet his only good friend did!

Harry knew that Rhodey had been a killer for a period of time.

He was even still an active killer and had not retired.

He had discussed this with Rhodey before, and had even thought about becoming a killer himself to seek excitement.

For rich second-generations like them, it's all about excitement.

Otherwise, why do so many wealthy young people like extreme sports?

But no matter how extreme the sport, can it be as exciting as being a killer?

Certainly not!

However, Harry ultimately failed to become a killer.

It wasn't that he didn't dare.

It was that he didn't have the talent!

Rhodey had taught him gunmanship for a while, and Harry found that his talent in shooting was really terrible.

He could miss the target at ten meters.

After practicing for more than a month, at most he could hit fixed targets at a dozen meters, and even then, he couldn't hit them accurately every time.

Missing the target was a frequent occurrence.

This made Harry give up the idea of being a killer for excitement.

He continued to play his extreme sports.

But he knew that Rhodey was very good at being a killer.

He even earned the nickname "Reaper" in the industry!

So, Harry, who really couldn't think of any good ideas, was driven by anger to seek Rhodey's help in eliminating those shareholders.

As long as those old guys were dead, then naturally no one would be able to kick him out.

In the future, he would still be the chairman and CEO of the Osborn Group, and no one would dare to disrespect him!

"Are you sure?"

Rhodey heard Harry's request and asked again.

After all;

Getting rid of several major shareholders of the Osborn Group was no joke.

In the past, Rhodey wouldn't even dare to say he could complete this task.

But now....

For Rhodey, who had the ability to teleport, killing a few Humans was incredibly easy.

However, he still wanted to confirm if Harry really wanted to do this.

Or was it just a moment of impulse?
