Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Dragon’s Fist Unleashed

The tournament was over, but Ryuji couldn't rest. His victory over Kael had drawn attention—both from allies and enemies.

Lyra met him at the training grounds. Her silver eyes were serious.

"Ryuji, it's time you learn a technique only those who truly embrace the Dragon can wield," she said. She led him to a hidden chamber beneath the waterfall temple. Symbols glowed along the walls, carved centuries ago.

"The Dragon's Fist," Lyra whispered. "A technique that channels the Dragon energy into a single, unstoppable strike. But it requires complete harmony between body, mind, and Dragon."

Ryuji clenched his fists. Harmony? He barely controlled his energy in battle.

"Watch me first," Lyra said, and with a graceful movement, her hands glowed with golden light. A single punch shattered a massive stone pillar.

Ryuji's eyes widened. That's… incredible.

He practiced relentlessly. Sweat poured, muscles ached, energy flared uncontrollably. But then, something shifted. His Dragon energy responded differently, flowing through his arms like a living current.

"Now, try it," Lyra said.

Ryuji focused. He imagined the Dragon inside him, roaring, coiling, waiting to strike. Then he lunged forward. His fist glowed gold, faster and sharper than anything before. The impact sent a boulder flying, leaving a crater.

Lyra nodded, impressed. "You've awakened the Dragon's Fist. But power alone isn't enough. You must also understand the clan rivalries. The Iron Tiger, Shadow Moon, and Scarlet Phoenix Clans each have their secrets… and their enemies."

Ryuji's brow furrowed. "Enemies? You mean… the Dark Cloud Sect?"

Lyra shook her head. "Not just them. Even within the clans, ambition and betrayal run deep. Today you learned strength. Tomorrow, you'll need wisdom to survive."

A loud horn echoed across the mountains. Smoke rose from the horizon—a scout from the Dark Cloud Sect.

Ryuji's fists flared. The Dragon energy pulsed stronger than ever. He had a new power, a new technique, but the path ahead was dangerous. Every clan, every rival, every threat—he would have to face them all.

And as the sun set, casting golden light over the waterfall, Ryuji whispered:

"This… is only the beginning. I will master the Dragon… no matter what stands in my way."
