Chapter 63 - The Rasengan! The Arrival of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist

Don't underestimate the Rasengan.

In the original story, the Rasengan's power was clearly superior to Chidori. And after Uzumaki Naruto further developed it—combining it with Wind Release to create the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken—its might became truly unrivaled, easily annihilating Kakuzu of the Akatsuki.

Without the slightest hesitation, Ning Feng clicked Use.

"Congratulations! You have learned Rasengan!"

A crisp, pleasant system prompt rang out. In that instant, a massive surge of memories flooded into Ning Feng's mind, allowing him to grasp the Rasengan almost immediately.

The next moment, with a mere thought, chakra rapidly gathered in his palm, forming a violently spinning Rasengan.

He slammed it forward.

Boom!

The distant trees shattered instantly, reduced to fine powder that filled the air.

Although, at first glance, the Rasengan's damage seemed far inferior to Ning Feng's wide-area techniques like Fire Release: Explosive Flame Formation, only Ning Feng truly understood its terror. Even a super–Kage-level expert would find it difficult to withstand a direct hit from the Rasengan.

After all, how many powerful figures had fallen to the Rasengan wielded by the father-and-son duo, Minato and Naruto?

Having just learned the Rasengan, Ning Feng glanced at the sky and realized that dawn had already begun to break. He was about to head back toward Konoha.

But at that very moment, several rapidly moving figures in the distance caught his attention.

These figures were incredibly fast, clearly heading straight toward Konoha.

The leader's name was displayed in bright red, with the prefix Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, while the others were also marked in red.

Kurosuki Raiga (Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist): Level 48, Kirigakure Jōnin, Diamond-tier BOSS!

Mumushi Kiba: Level 38, Kirigakure Chūnin, Silver-tier BOSS!

Biwa Jūzō: Level 38, Kirigakure Chūnin, Silver-tier BOSS!

The moment Ning Feng saw their names, even he couldn't help but feel a jolt of surprise.

He hadn't expected that at this point in time, experts from the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist would appear!

These were no ordinary shinobi.

Within Kirigakure, the Seven Ninja Swordsmen were the Mizukage's right-hand men, entrusted with missions of extreme difficulty. Heaven knew how many Konoha shinobi had died at their hands.

More importantly, each member wielded a legendary blade, drastically amplifying their combat power.

During the Third Great Ninja War, Might Guy's father, Might Duy, had paid with his life to open the Gate of Death, wiping out four of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen on the spot—leaving only three alive.

And those three survivors' strength spoke for itself.

That said, no matter how powerful they were, in front of Ning Feng—who possessed the Flying Thunder God Technique—they still weren't enough.

Ning Feng narrowed his eyes slightly. With the terrifying insight of his Sharingan, he quickly concealed himself within the blind spots of their vision.

He wanted to see exactly what these Kirigakure shinobi were sneaking into Konoha to do.

Last time, his successful assassination of Hanzō of the Salamander had largely been a matter of timing and luck. Hanzō's attention had been focused on Nagato's Rinnegan, not on him.

In truth, Ning Feng had yet to truly engage in a prolonged, direct battle with top-tier experts.

"Several days ago, the Mist spies we planted inside Konoha were reportedly all secretly eliminated by a kid named Uchiha Feng. At that time, the brat wasn't even a genin."

As Ning Feng was thinking, one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen—Kurosuki Raiga—spoke in a low voice to the Mist chūnin ahead of him.

"Our objective this time is to infiltrate Konoha and obtain critical intelligence on whether there's friction between the Uchiha clan and Konoha's higher-ups. Understood?"

"Yes, Lord Raiga!"

The Mist chūnin nodded heavily, their eyes brimming with fighting spirit.

"As long as we obtain evidence of conflict between Konoha's leadership and the Uchiha clan, we can exploit it to widen the rift even further."

"At that point, Konoha will be forced to suppress internal Uchiha unrest while also dealing with the production of jinchūriki and the weakening of the Nine-Tails' seal."

Raiga sneered coldly.

"When that happens… Konoha is finished!"

The moment Raiga mentioned Konoha, his teeth ground together in hatred.

Even now, he still remembered how a mere Konoha genin, using the Eight Gates, had beaten them to the brink of unconsciousness.

That humiliation was the greatest disgrace the Seven Ninja Swordsmen had ever suffered.

"Exactly. With so many internal crises to handle, Konoha won't survive!"

"Not to mention, they've always had that ambitious bastard Danzō lurking in the shadows!"

Several Mist chūnin chimed in.

Hidden among the trees, Ning Feng frowned.

Back when he first read the original story, he had always suspected that someone was deliberately manipulating the rift between Konoha's leadership and the Uchiha clan.

Now it was clear—someone had begun laying the groundwork long ago.

Uchiha Obito had once controlled Kirigakure for a period, enforcing an extremely bloody regime. It seemed his control over the Mist wasn't merely about ruling it, but about mobilizing its resources to further his grand plan.

No wonder Ning Feng had encountered those Mist spies right after his first login.

"Hey, have you heard?"

Suddenly, a talkative Mist chūnin spoke up.

"Recently, Konoha seems to have produced a genius named Uchiha Feng—even more talented than Uchiha Itachi and the others!"

"At just five or six years old, he's already awakened the three-tomoe Sharingan!"

Normally, shinobi like them were tight-lipped.

But Kirigakure's Blood Mist policies had kept them suppressed for too long. Now that they were finally out, a few couldn't help talking more than usual.

"Hm. The Mizukage-sama also ordered me to gather as much information as possible on Uchiha Feng, so we won't be caught off guard if we encounter him on the battlefield."

Raiga spoke calmly.

"It's confirmed that this Uchiha Feng is training under the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze. He's mastered the space–time ninjutsu Flying Thunder God and also uses techniques like Chidori."

"He's extremely dangerous. If you encounter him, do not underestimate him."

Those few casual sentences made Ning Feng's heart tighten slightly.

Kirigakure's intelligence network was frighteningly efficient—they had already gathered this much information about him.

Unfortunately for them, these people were about to die.

"Oh?"

Just then, Ning Feng's voice rang out calmly.

"So… you were planning to collect intelligence on me?"
