Lynn looked at the two men he had tied up securely, writhing and struggling on the floor, and for a moment, he found himself in a difficult position.
How should he handle these two? Throw them into the sea to feed the Giant Squid? That seemed a bit too brutal.
Hand them over to the ship's security? Heaven knows if the security on this ship was reliable; what if they were accomplices too?
Lynn walked up to the two men and poked the Tall, thin wizard, who was still twitching slightly from the aftermath of the curse, with his wand.
"Hey! Tell me, how did you two slip out of that hellhole, Azkaban?"
"Wooo wooo~" The Tall, thin wizard's mouth was stuffed tight with a smelly sock Lynn had conjured from somewhere earlier, so he could only make muffled whimpers.
"Oh, sorry, forgot about that." Lynn apologized without a shred of sincerity, flicking his wand to pull the wad of socks out of the man's mouth.
"Cough! Ptu! Blech—" The Tall, thin wizard coughed dryly, his face turning pale. "You... you..."
"You what, you?" Lynn interrupted impatiently. "Speak up. How did you escape from Azkaban?"
"Don't tell me you broke out on your own merit; I won't believe it."
"We... well... it's because..." The Tall, thin wizard's eyes flickered as he stammered, clearly unwilling to reveal the truth.
The tip of Lynn's wand lit up with red light again, his tone drawing out: "Cruci—"
"I'll talk! I'll talk!"
The Tall, thin wizard was scared out of his wits and blurted everything out like beans from a bamboo tube. "We bribed an official from the Ministry of Magic!"
"We gave him a huge sum of Galleons! He helped us forge documents and got us out during an outer perimeter patrol!"
Very well, there was a mole in the Ministry of Magic.
In that case, if he handed these two over to the Ministry, they would likely be brought in through the front door and then let out the back by that bribed official. It would be as good as releasing tigers back to the mountains.
He had to find a different way to deal with them.
"Levi."
A slight ripple appeared in the air beside Lynn, like waves shimmering on water.
Immediately after, Levi elegantly manifested her form, her body radiating a warm glow.
"Master~ what is it?"
Levi tilted her head, her crisp voice reaching his ears.
"Seal these two up first, then take them back to the trunk and find a separate place to lock them up."
Lynn pointed at the two terrified Dark Wizards on the ground.
"Okay, Master~"
Levi responded and spread her brilliant, shimmering wings.
In an instant, the surrounding temperature plummeted, and tiny ice crystals condensed in the air.
A silver-white frost power, seemingly capable of freezing the soul, gathered on her wings.
"No! Please no!"
"Mercy!"
Amid the desperate pleas for mercy from the two Dark Wizards, Levi gently flapped her wings.
Creeeak— Creeeak—
The sound of bone-chilling freezing rang out as extreme frost rapidly covered the two men's bodies, turning them into two ice sculptures frozen in expressions of terror.
Even the ropes on them were completely frozen solid, and even their magical fluctuations were sealed within.
"I'll take them away first, Master~" Levi easily picked up the two ice sculptures with her claws.
"Yeah, go on back. Good job."
Lynn nodded approvingly.
"Hehe."
With a cheerful chirp, Levi and the two frozen statues turned into points of light and vanished, clearly entering the special space within the undetectable extension trunk.
Having dealt with these two troubles, Lynn clapped his hands and turned around. Wearing what he considered his most friendly smile, he made a sound like coaxing a small animal toward the corner where the little Abraxan had disappeared.
"Here, boy, here~ Little guy, come out, it's safe now."
After a faint rustling sound, that silver-white little head with a beautiful mane peeked timidly from around the corner, its large eyes holding a hint of wariness but even more naive curiosity.
"Calling me?"
It lifted a front hoof and pointed at itself uncertainly.
Thanks to Language Mastery, Lynn could clearly understand its meaning.
"Yes, you. Come over here. Don't be afraid, I'm not a bad person."
Lynn crouched down, trying his best to make his posture seem non-threatening.
"I know." The little Abraxan hesitated for a moment before walking over with small steps, its voice carrying the crispness unique to a foal. "You saved me. Thank you."
"You're welcome, it was no trouble at all." Lynn smiled. "My name is Lynn. And you?"
"My name is Lumière," the little Abraxan replied, appearing a bit familiar already.
Or rather, Lynn's unparalleled Affinity had an outstanding effect on magical creatures, allowing it to quickly lower its guard.
"Lumière, that's a good name."
Lynn stroked its smooth neck. "I haven't asked you yet, how did you get captured by those two guys?"
"Well... it's just..." Lumière suddenly lowered its head in embarrassment, pawing at the carpet with its hoof, its voice growing quieter.
"I... I smelled the scent of alcohol in the woods. It was so fragrant... so I sneaked out wanting to drink a little, and then they found me..."
Lynn: "..."
Alcohol again! These Abraxans really are beyond help! Even the foals are like this!
He helplessly massaged his temples and continued asking, "So where do you live? Or which herd do you belong to? I'll see if I can send you back."
Lumière looked up, its large eyes filled with blankness as it shook its head. "I don't know. I seem to have been... lost for a long time. I don't remember where home is."
Lynn: "..." He felt speechless. Was this an amnesiac alcoholic foal?
Looking at this homeless little Abraxan who seemed to have a 'bad habit,' Lynn thought for a moment. He had plenty of pets anyway; one more or one less wouldn't make a difference.
He spoke tentatively, "Then... how about I raise you?"
Lumière's eyes lit up instantly, and it asked eagerly, "Is there alcohol to drink?"
Lynn's mouth twitched, but he still nodded. "All you can drink."
With his purchasing power, raising an alcoholic foal wouldn't be a problem.
"That's great! I'll go with you!"
Lumière immediately and cheerfully rubbed its head against Lynn's hand. The change in attitude was so fast that Lynn suspected it had been waiting for those words.
Just then, the familiar notification sound rang in his mind:
[Ding! Reward distribution complete.]
Lynn looked at the Abraxan in front of him, which had sold itself without hesitation for the words 'all you can drink,' and ranted wildly in his heart:
Wait, what?! System, come out and explain yourself!
Is this the reward you distributed?!
I clearly picked this up (scammed/abducted it) through my own ability, okay?!
Your reward distribution is way too perfunctory!
