Chapter 16 - Chapter 15: Absolute Domination

As soon as Stain finished speaking, he vanished from his spot, moving at more than double his previous speed!

However, in Orion's eyes, he was still moving in slow motion.

Clang!

Clang!

Clang!

Under the dim lighting, the katana danced, its silver reflections flashing through the alleyway in a dizzying display. In the span of a few dozen seconds, Stain swung his blade over a hundred times, each strike accurately hitting the blue skeletal ribs surrounding Orion.

But to Stain's shock, he couldn't injure Orion in the slightest. He couldn't even crack the defense. At this moment, Stain finally realized the severity of the situation.

His Quirk, Bloodcurdle, allowed him to paralyze an opponent by consuming their blood. The duration of the paralysis depended on the victim's blood type. But looking at the current situation, where he couldn't even break the boy's defense, obtaining blood was nothing more than a pipe dream.

Stain had lived a long time and fought many opponents, but those who possessed an unbreakable defense were rare. Orion was one of them.

"Are you done hitting me?" Seeing Stain stop his assault, Orion finally spoke. "Then is it my turn?"

"Dammit..." Not far behind Orion, Death Arms struggled to move his body, but his efforts were in vain.

He admitted that Orion's Quirk was powerful, but he believed that no matter how strong a Quirk was, without systematic training or combat experience, one's fighting capacity would remain near zero.

"Listen to me! Run and find a Pro Hero!" Death Arms practically screamed the words, but Orion acted as if he hadn't heard a thing, continuing to walk forward calmly.

Death Arms was on the verge of a breakdown.

"Heh, kid. I admit your Quirk is strong, but if you want to be a hero, you're still too green," Stain said, his eyes bloodshot. "Because you lack the conviction of a true hero!"

"Who said I wanted to be a hero?" Orion replied, his hands tucked into his pockets. Under the moonlight, his eyes glowed even more crimson.

"What do you mean?" Stain frowned slightly.

"Exactly what I said." Orion turned his head slightly to glance at Death Arms. "I just happened to find him likable, so I'm meddling in your business while on my way home."

"!!!" Hearing this, Stain gnashed his teeth and tightened his grip on the katana. "Initially, I was only going to cripple you today, but now it seems I must take your life!"

Orion's words struck a nerve. Stain understood the concept of a "hero" better than most, and what he hated most were those who acted as heroes just to cause trouble or for superficial reasons. In his eyes, Orion wasn't even a "hero," and that single "interference" was enough for Stain to decide to kill him.

Whoosh!

Stain's silhouette blurred as he leaped between the buildings lining the alley, creating black afterimages that were hard to track with the naked eye, attempting to disorient Orion.

He had no idea that such movements were laughable in Orion's eyes. Under the state of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, Orion could perceive everything.

Whoosh!

The blue ribs around Orion dissolved. His figure instantly appeared beside Stain. He grabbed Stain by the collar and threw him with raw force.

Thud! With a dull impact, Stain's back slammed into the brown brick wall. The sound alone was enough to make one's spine tingle with cold.

Stain struggled to stand up, looking at Orion in total shock. "Cough... you... how is this possible?!"

How old was he? Fifteen? Even with daily training, it was impossible for someone's physical techniques to be this advanced!

"Is it a composite Quirk?" Stain's eyes flickered as he made frantic mental guesses.

In front of him, the blue skeletal structure that had previously shielded Orion reappeared, flickering like a flame, exceptionally conspicuous in the darkness. With every step Orion took forward, the pressure weighing on Stain's heart increased.

When Orion was about ten paces away from Stain, he stopped and looked him straight in the eye.

Opposite him, Stain braced himself, ready to swing his katana at any moment.

Suddenly, Orion vanished again. Before Stain could even react, Orion was standing right in front of him, only a step away.

"I won't kill you today," Orion said expressionlessly. "However, I am taking Death Arms with me."

As soon as he finished speaking, without giving Stain time to respond, Orion slammed his fist into the wall to his right.

BOOM!!!

The punch carried a violent gust of wind. The wall collapsed instantly, shattering into countless pieces of rubble that scattered across the ground.

Stain's pupils contracted. He knew deep down that this level of power was not something he could handle right now.

"Any objections?"

"I wouldn't dare say I have none!" Even knowing he might be no match, Stain was prepared to fight to the end. It wasn't about strength; it was his principle.

"Objection overruled."

Stain felt a dark shadow flicker before his eyes, and Orion was already beside Death Arms.

Orion stood in front of the fallen hero, turning his head slightly. His crimson Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan stared directly at Stain.

"Remember my name... Orion of the Uchiha Clan!"
