Chapter 2 - Unnamed

Chapter 2

The Night I Didn't Give Up

I still remember that night clearly. The sky was dark, and everything around me felt quiet—too quiet. I was sitting alone, thinking about how many times I had failed, how many times people had said, "You can't do it." For a moment, I almost believed them.

But something inside me refused to stop.

I looked at my hands and realized they were still steady. My heart was tired, yes—but it was still beating with hope. I understood then that losing doesn't mean you're finished. It only means you're learning.

That night, I made a promise to myself. I promised that no matter how hard things became, I would keep moving forward. Even small steps mattered. Even slow progress counted.

Days passed. Some were good, some were painful. But every day, I became a little stronger than before. I stopped waiting for others to believe in me—because I finally believed in myself.

Today, when I look back at that dark night, I don't feel sadness anymore. I feel proud. Proud that I didn't give up. Proud that I kept going.

This is my story. And it's not over yet.
