Chapter 2 - Episode 2. The Awakening of the Seal

Two hundred years had passed since the King first stepped into the Twelfth Dungeon, and from that day forward, he never appeared before the world again. The once-unified kingdom splintered into five separate states, and the legend of the King withered into a myth, whispered only within the pages of crumbling books and upon the stone walls of ruins.

Then, one day, a boy was born in the slums. An orphan, he lived in narrow alleys thick with the stench of filth and damp air. But fate did not pass him by.

He had a strange dream. A massive seal glowed with a blinding light, inspiring both terror and a mysterious sense of awe. A voice whispered:

"Touch... and perceive..."

The boy reached out his hand, but he could not make contact—as if something within the dream itself was holding him back. He woke up abruptly.

"Just a dream..." he muttered, rubbing his eyes. But a hot flame was kindling deep within his chest, and his heart beat faster and faster.

Stepping outside, the boy noticed a faint glow in the distance. A tiny light caught his eye, and, obeying his intuition, he approached it. The moment he touched the light, the air around him ignited with a golden radiance.

Foreign memories flooded his mind. Visions of an ancient kingdom, a majestic palace, battles with monsters, and words spoken in an unknown tongue. Unable to withstand the pressure, the boy lost consciousness.

When he came to, he saw a strange mark on his right wrist. Patterns in the shape of a crown, surrounded by ten crystals, with an eleventh shining in the center of the crown. A few seconds later, the seal quietly vanished.

Reaching for some water to quench his thirst, he caught a glimpse of his reflection—and froze.

A crown symbol had manifested in his left eye.

"W... what is happening?.."

His heart trembled with fear and confusion, and he realized: the world had changed forever.

Would you like me to adjust the tone to be more archaic/epic, or keep it in this modern fantasy style?
