**Chapter 15: Lucy**
"Long time no see! I missed you!" Happy pounced into Ren's embrace.
Natsu and Ren had a very good relationship, and since Happy always followed Natsu, his relationship with Ren was also very close.
In their spare time, Ren would take Happy fishing and play with him.
"Yeah! I missed you too. When we get back, I'll take you to catch some fish to eat."
Suddenly, several annoying voices rang out.
"Hey! You guys are being so rude!"
"Ignoring the great Lord Salamander!"

The speakers were those girls, reaching out to grab Ren and Natsu's clothes.
A look of disgust appeared in Ren's eyes.
He hated this kind of noisy people the most.

Ren's *Reiatsu* flashed for a fleeting moment. *Reiatsu* could exert powerful pressure on a person's soul, an effect somewhat similar to *Haoshoku Haki*.
If powerful enough, it could knock people unconscious; if slightly weaker, it would still instill fear.
"Wahhh!!"
"Kyaaaah—!!"
These girls were terrified by Ren. Many collapsed onto the ground with looks of horror on their faces, and some even wet themselves.
"Let's go," Ren said to Natsu and Happy.
After Ren and the others left, the man called Salamander spoke up to comfort the girls: "My apologies! You were all startled because of me! To make up for my mistake, I will hold a party on my ship tonight. Everyone is welcome to join then."
After speaking, red flames rose beneath his feet, carrying him away as he flew off.
"Great! I'll definitely go!"
"Ah~! As expected of Lord Salamander! So gentle!"
"Lord Salamander is so handsome!"
Ren glanced back. He felt that the scene just now was somewhat familiar, and the moment he saw that man, he felt an inexplicable dislike.
Just as Ren was having this thought, a voice suddenly spoke from behind him: "That guy is really annoying."
Ren turned around and saw a beautiful young girl standing behind the two of them, smiling and greeting him:
"Thanks for earlier!"
The girl had blonde hair tied in a side ponytail with a blue ribbon. She wore a white sleeveless shirt with blue trim, a blue pleated skirt, a whip hanging at her waist, and black boots on her feet.
Fair skin, a good figure, and an exquisitely beautiful face—a beautiful girl who would score over 90 points from any angle. At first glance, Ren felt she looked very familiar.
A short while later, they arrived at a restaurant.
Ren was fine, but Natsu was gorging himself like a wolf, and Happy's mouth was stuffed full of fish.
"That man called Salamander used a type of magic called **Charm**. It's a magic that draws people's hearts to the caster. Its sale was banned years ago."
"To use that kind of magic to attract girls, what a scum. Thanks to you, I was released from that magic."
"I see." Ren nodded. The world of magic had all kinds of strange magics.
Since transmigrating to a magic world, Ren was curious about magic and had tried to learn it, thinking that having more skills wouldn't hurt.

Natsu and Happy immediately knelt on the restaurant floor, bowing with teary eyes: "What a good person!"
"Eek—!" Lucy was startled by Natsu and Happy's actions and hurriedly said, "Don't do that, it's embarrassing. You helped me earlier too. I'm leaving now!"
Lucy fled the restaurant as if escaping.
Natsu and Happy immediately sat back in their chairs and continued to gorge themselves.
"What a good girl! Her name is Lucy, right? I wonder which guild she wants to join."
"She talked a bit too much."
A current seemed to run through Ren's mind.
"Wait, what was her name?"
"Louise," Natsu said.
Happy corrected him: "Lucy."
Lucy. Talks a lot. Ren finally realized where the sense of familiarity he felt when he first saw this girl came from.
Isn't this Lucy, the female protagonist of the *Fairy Tail* anime?
Immediately after, memories began to surface in Ren's mind. Although not comprehensive, he remembered the main points.
His face darkened slightly.
Natsu and Happy clearly sensed the change in Ren's mood.
"Ren, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, let's eat first."
