4 days...
In 4 days, Orochi will kill himself. Nobody will stop him. August 14th, 2002, Orochi wakes up and his mom greets him like usual and makes him breakfast the one thing he loves about his day is how good his moms cooking is and that might be the only thing he will miss about his life. While him and his mom were sat down having breakfast Orochi's mom knew something was not alright with Orochi himself as he hasn't been socialising with anyone and over time, he has been trying to make everyone hate him as if he is using the hate to his advantage. "Orochi don't act stupid I know you are trying to kill yourself and its obvious, so I won't let you die." Orochi was surprised at how she knew but he did kind of make it a bit too obvious.
"What no I'm not I just find peace in being alone so if I make people hate me, I won't need to socialise." Orochi couldn't really tell if that made things better or worse for himself but looking at his mom's facial expression of disappointment, he inferred it probably didn't work. In his head he decided he might as well kill himself tomorrow as his mom wouldn't expect that but then again, he might need to sneak out because if his mom knew he was leaving she would probably come Aswell to make sure he wasn't doing anything.
The rest 0f his day was pretty boring as he wanted to go for his last walk but his mom came along then went to the shop to buy some food but in that shop he actually managed to lose sight on his mom and walked around the city freely and rested at a bench for the rest of the day next to a bridge calmly for this was his last day ever alive.
The city that Orochi was in was ugly it was polluted with black smoke and destroyed with the whole city orange and brown filled with graffiti everywhere and you couldn't breathe without smoke filling up your lungs then coughing it all back out. It was the most disgusting place you could live in, and the only thing Orochi tried to do his whole life was to just leave the city, but it never happened. He was 18 and with no job, no money and still living with his mom while his brother was 15, very rich and moved to Paris. Orochi just wanted to live the life his brother does even if it takes his being reborn. Orochi looked at the sky at how it was never daylight because of the smoke in the air and how ugly everything was and decided since nobody was here to stop him and he was already at the bridge he might Aswell kill himself right now. Orochi looked down while sitting on the edge of the bridge and right before he jumped a massive explosion came from the nuclear power plant and the air became toxic very fast and sirens came telling everyone to evacuate.
Orochi scared of the sirens and the evacuation just jumped. He opened his eyes to being suffocated by his own hoodie as he was caught by his own mom but as he was brought up, he looked at his mom and all he saw was an octopus alien Moster and he just ran out of fear. Her tentacles grabbed his while she said in a creepy voice "do you think I'd let my lovely boy die that easy." Orochi looked at what he thought was his mom and shouted "GET OFF OF ME YOU CRAZY LADY JUST LET ME DIE" Orochi's mom looked at him and said "nobody is here to save you anymore everyone is evacuating look at the air if you don't die to me the air will suffocate you soon enough." Orochi looked confused and he thought she was trying to save him not kill him. "I thought you were trying to make me live." Orochi said very confused. "well yes I was son but seeming as you want confused and he to die ill just do it myself." the tentacle's squeeze him harder but his body starts flickering black and red energy around him and his mom looks confused and says "oh so your one of them that's fun I guess we can truly fight now and its even better that my son has been chosen by god to have such a rare ability."
Orochi was very confused now as he was confused what she meant but rare ability and started to think if it was even his mom. "What do you mean rare ability." Orochi says curious. "I mean everyone has a power called distortion styles and you need to have a near death experience like right now to awaken it but it's a 1/240 odds you awaken it and the odds reset every time, so you are truly lucky Sakurai Orochi." Orochi hearing, he has powers gets ready to try and break free of the tentacles but still can't. His mom tells him that his distorted energy must be low considering he is still weak. Orochi looks at her annoyed because seeming he is probably going to die it's too much information to handle. His mom says the only reason he told her is because she wants a good fight and explains to him "the more energy you have the stronger you are and more distortion styles you can use but using those styles cost energy that take some time to regain." Orochi can't be bothered to actually listen and just tells her that he gets it so they can progress.
His energy turns into chains which wraps around the tentacles completely breaking them. Then with his new strength grabs a lamp post and launches it at her destroying another tentacle before rushing it and punching her stomach so hard she loses balance and gets dizzy. She didn't see her son standing over her but one now it was the reincarnation of the strongest there ever was. "Michio Adachi is that... Really you." she then had a flashback to when she worked under the strongest and the last thing and the first thing he ever said to her before disappearing was "get up you worthless fool." that memory sparked her to stand up and keep fighting. She recalled what distortion style Michio had and she thinks it was immortality, and CHAINS she finally realises her worry's she knows Michio is more than chains are her has way more powers but just the fact Orochi has chains makes her see Michio in her own son.
"Sorry mom but I guess it's over he shoots a chain at her forehead then pulls it back ripping her head off making purple blood spray all over Orochi with he evilly smiles knowing his journey has started. When she picks up her head and puts it back in place connecting it to her body she looks back to find Orochi and realises he has walked away but then she sees Michio and he tells her "You are truly worthless you know see I'm not going to kill you but I'll make someone as strong kill you." he disappears and she thinks she is safe but out the corner of her eye she sees Yuto who is one of the strongest ever and has the lightning distortion style. Yuto tells her he has somewhere to be and is planning to make this fast. She is unfortunate he spotted her. When she heard this, she realised what Michio had done he manipulated Yuto's mind into coming to her to kill her. Yuto smiling and says have fun in hell then uses lightning slash which cuts her body in half killing her instantly.
Yuto looks behind him and tells Orochi to come here and he does. Yuto tells Orochi that he saw what he did and his strength and he will bring him to the place he works at which is the continuity office to get someone to assess his power. Orochi says that sounds good not caring about that fact his mom is now dead. "Also, the thing you just fought is called a failure and they are made by people not being able to complete a goal which is how they get stronger." The one they killed is the caretaker failure which is the failure to be a good caretaker. Yuto tells him that a failure can put themselves into bodies and blend in corrupting people with a lifelong failure just by touch and that Orochi's mom probably corrupted him with that failure to follow him around.
Yuto says once they get to the office and he finds out his distortion style to not tell him because he knows nobodies as he doesnt want to know if someone is stronger than him and he only wants to know everyone's powers once he is on his death bed. Orochi says that's fine and Yuto says once you join you will be given a rank as his will be the lowest since he just joined. Orochi was confused as wouldn't he just knows how is stronger than him by ranks, Yuto knows what Orochi is thinking and tells him he knows everyone on his rank is weaker and he is the top rank. The only one higher than him is the leader. Yuto says they should stop talking on the bridge and go back to the office and Orochi agrees.
