Once the prophet (S.A.) went to a distant place on a long journey. Some of his followers were with him. They travelled through the desert, it was a hard time. Luima was tired and hungry. 50 They stopped at an oasis. Everyone was tired. But they had a lot of work to do. The Prophet (S.A.) told them to work together. Some of them dug the ground, some gave steady poles and ropes and others spread the canvas. Thus they set up a few tents. The prophet (S.A.) and his companions needed some food and rest. They all started working. Some of them made stoves and others poured water. The Prophet (S.A.) went to collect wood. Even the body had asked him to take a rest. But he didn't. As the leader of the group he did the hardest job.

There is another incident regarding this matter.

The Battle of the Trench was a 30-day siege between the Muslims of Medina and the Quraysh of Mecca in 627. The battle is named the Battle of the Trench because the Muslims dug a trench to secure the city.

The leader of the Muslims was Prophet Muhammad (S.A.) and the leader of the Quraysh was Abu Sufyan. The Quraysh attacked Medina because they wanted to eliminate the Muslims.

The Muslims dug a trench to protect the city. The trench was a deep and wide ditch that was dug around the city. The trench made it difficult for the enemy to enter the city.

The Quraysh were unable to cross the trench and eventually lifted the siege and left. The Muslims won this battle.
