Chapter 4 - You Can Call Me Sea King

Godzilla has a long lifespan. Different versions of Godzilla have different abilities and personalities.

For example, the Godzilla in Planet of the Monsters has a fiery temper, driving humans, who destroyed nature, off the Earth, causing the Earth's ecosystem to change with it.

Han Shaoqing couldn't determine which version of Godzilla was in front of him, and he still had many unanswered questions.

He also didn't know whether it was a whim or just boredom that made Godzilla want him as a subordinate.

Han Shaoqing's Telepathy could sense the thoughts of marine life and control them, but he couldn't completely see through Godzilla's thoughts.

The current situation was favorable. It would be beneficial for Han Shaoqing to have a good relationship with Godzilla.

In contrast, those still alive on the Titanic were filled with fear, and no one knew if they would bid farewell to this world in the next moment.

The cruise ship was sinking, and everyone's hearts sank with it.

"Creak... creak..."

The ship's deck was already overloaded, emitting a teeth-grinding sound as the ship's tilt increased.

People on the ship all swarmed onto the deck. Among them, a band was very dedicated; even at this moment of life and death, they still didn't forget to play music.

Then, fireworks bloomed. Don't misunderstand; this wasn't a celebration, but a distress signal, hoping that passing ships could see it.

But the Atlantic Ocean was vast, and the nearest ships were hundreds of nautical miles away, so no one else noticed.

"Captain, someone is causing trouble on the fifth deck, trying to force their way onto the lifeboats!"

Hearing the report from his subordinate, Captain Smith was not surprised.

In a moment of life and death, not everyone can maintain their gentlemanly demeanor.

A communicator hurried over, "Sir, the Carpathia says their current speed is seventeen knots, which is their fastest."

"Only one ship is responding?"

"Yes, that's the only one. They say they can arrive within four hours."

"Four hours... it's not enough time!"

As Smith spoke, he looked in the direction of Godzilla. He saw Godzilla suddenly wave its hand, as if something had flown out.

But the distance was too far to see clearly.

The cruise ship had no heavy weapons, otherwise Smith would have wanted to bring over the Italian cannons and blast a few shots at It.

"Sir, that monster moved!"

"It's coming this way."

"God bless us."

"Hurry, launch the lifeboats, get us down there quickly."

"Don't push!"

"Argh!!!"

Seeing the unknown behemoth approach, the already panicked crowd became even more frantic.

The crowd surged on the deck, jostling and pushing. The sailors struggled with the ropes, and a lifeboat, only halfway down, capsized. Several people screamed as they plunged into the water.

"Don't panic, everyone!"

"Back up!"

"Get out of the way, let me on!"

"Mom! Mom!"

"I'm a woman, let me go first!"

"I'll pay ten thousand pounds for a spot, let me on!"

"So what if you have money, get lost!"

...

In the face of death, human nature was laid bare.

The once polite gentlemen were now red-faced, fighting for a spot.

Even the ladies and socialites began to scramble and claw at each other in the crowd.

Some, desperate to survive, closed off the passageways, hoping to give themselves a better chance.

Those who were locked in roared with fury, cursing, but it was no use. They madly pounded on the doors.

Some smashed the glass of the lounges and ran out through other areas.

Under the shadow of death, many people unleashed a powerful will to live.

There were also those who despaired, huddling in corners waiting for death to come.

Some believers were praying to God to save them.

Ruth and Jack were also trapped below, watching the water rise, running through the passageways.

At that moment, they saw all sorts of people, a myriad of human experiences.

After running for a while, they came to another passage, but it was also chained up.

"These bastards want to kill us!"

Jack was furious. He had just found love, and he and Ruth should have been living happily.

Unwilling, Jack got angry and, with a few others, tore a chair apart and rammed the iron door open, then pulled Ruth out and ran.

"My God!"

Ruth had just arrived on deck and immediately saw Godzilla, its body emitting a blue glow.

"What the hell!"

Jack was terrified, feeling a chill run through him.

Godzilla twisted its body, approaching the Titanic.

"Ah!!!"

"A monster!"

"Help!"

The survivors didn't know Godzilla planned to lend a hand.

Seeing the colossal creature approaching, they instinctively felt fear. The ladies were terrified, their faces ashen. A few of the more timid ones fainted outright.

Han Shaoqing moved quickly in the water, like a swordfish sprinting at full speed. His speed in the water was no less than Godzilla's.

However, compared to Godzilla, he was too small, and it was difficult for ordinary people to see him in the dark.

After Han Shaoqing approached the Titanic, he saw many people floating in the icy water, struggling to find something to hold onto.

Some clung to the edges of lifeboats, others to broken wooden boards. Although they were shivering, they dared not let go.

Because once they let go, the next time they surfaced, they might be a corpse.

Han Shaoqing made several quick dashes in the water, leaped onto Godzilla's tail, and then ran quickly across Godzilla's body, soon reaching Godzilla's head.

Standing here, the situation became clearer.

Previously, Godzilla had collided with the Titanic, causing the cruise ship to nearly break apart, and many people died on the spot.

As the cruise ship sank, many people began to jump into the sea.

Some wanted to survive against the odds, confident in their swimming skills, hoping to take a gamble.

Although it was dangerous, they knew that if they didn't jump into the sea in time and move away from the Titanic, the whirlpool created when the ship sank would drag everything around it into the seabed!

Some were simply pushed down, or accidentally fell into the water during the jostling.

It was already late at night, and the sea temperature was very low, already below freezing. The average person couldn't last long in the icy water.

Some people who couldn't swim, without life jackets, struggled for a moment before sinking to the bottom of the sea.

"Don't jump into the sea, stay on the ship."

Seeing people still jumping overboard, Han Shaoqing immediately shouted in English.

The situation was critical, and choices had to be made.

He and Godzilla were both strong, but they couldn't save everyone; they could only try to save as many people as possible.

The people on the ship looked up at Han Shaoqing on Godzilla's head when they heard his words.

At this moment, Godzilla was only twenty meters away from the Titanic. With Godzilla's own blue light effects, the people on the ship could see Han Shaoqing's figure.

"There's someone on that monster's head?"

"How is that possible? Who could possibly stand on the head of such a huge monster?"

"What do we do now?"

The people on the ship were in a flurry of confusion, most of them having lost their composure.

"Who are you?"

Captain Smith asked loudly.

"You can call me Sea King. Stay on the ship and don't move. Godzilla will help you transfer to the iceberg."

As Han Shaoqing spoke, Godzilla had already begun to move.
