"Huh?"
Arthur had been standing inside the room a moment ago. Now, he found himself surrounded by darkness. It felt as though his body had been dragged across an immeasurable distance in a single instant, leaving him with no sense of how he had arrived here.
There was no denying in it, he was teleported. But how?
"Huh?"His gaze immediately settled on the retreating figure of the very cadet he had come to save. The young man was carrying Elena in his arms and moving farther into the darkness.
"Hey, wait!"

Arthur's brows drew together as he looked down. A chain was wrapped around his leg.
He jerked against it, but the chain did not so much as groan beneath his strength. It remained perfectly still, as though it had not been fastened around his body at all, but anchored directly to his very existence.
"It's no use. You can't leave this place until you submit."
