A tense atmosphere enveloped the school rooftop. Alacrix sees Alfano talking intently with Putri, his hand on her shoulder. Alacrix's heart feels tight, but he tries to control himself.
"Putri, what's going on?" Alacrix asks, his voice slightly trembling.
Putri looks down, avoiding Alacrix's gaze. She clutches her school bag tightly. "Kak Alacrix... I think we need to keep our distance."
Alacrix is shocked. "Keep our distance? Why all of a sudden?"
Alfano smiles cynically. "Putri has made her choice. She realizes who's better for her."
"That's not true!" Alacrix exclaims, glaring at Alfano.
Putri takes a deep breath. "Sorry, Kak Alacrix. But I... I think this is for the best."
Putri's words feel like a blow to Alacrix. He doesn't understand what's happening. Yesterday they were fine, and now Putri is suddenly asking to keep their distance.
While Alacrix is still processing Putri's words, Zea appears on the rooftop. She walks closer with a sly smile. "I told you, Alacrix. Putri is only looking for profit. You need someone genuine."
Alacrix ignores Zea and looks back at Putri. "Putri, tell me, is someone threatening you?"
Putri's eyes widen slightly at the question, but she immediately looks down again. "No, Kak. I just... I just feel more comfortable like this."
With a heavy heart, Alacrix realizes that he can't force Putri to talk if she doesn't want to. He looks at Alfano and Zea alternately, sensing that something is wrong.
"Alright, Putri," Alacrix finally says, his voice sounding resigned. "If that's what you want."
Alacrix turns and walks away, leaving Putri, Alfano, and Zea on the rooftop. As he walks down the corridor, Alacrix is determined to find out what's really going on. He doesn't believe that Putri would suddenly change her mind without a strong reason.
Meanwhile, on the rooftop, Zea smiles triumphantly. "The plan worked, Alfano."
Alfano only sighs. He knows that this is not over yet.
